Olympus Pacific exports first gold dore from Vietnam

      2006-03-15 10:00 ET - News Release

      Mr. David Seton reports

OLYMPUS SUCCESSFULLY EXPORTS FIRST GOLD DORE

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. has successfully exported the first gold dore produced in Vietnam from its gold processing plant located near the company`s Bong Mieu gold mine. The gold dore was escorted by professional security personnel from the Bong Mieu gold mine through customs in Danang and onward to the gold refinery in Mendrisio, Switzerland, where it will be refined into 99.999 per cent gold. Olympus now expects to make monthly gold dore shipments as production increases and the plant becomes more efficient which will result in the company reaching its projected $350,000 (U.S.) monthly operating profit.

Olympus`s operation staff continues to fine tune the plant in order to capture maximum gold recoveries and expects to complete this process over the next two to three months. As soon as the plant consistently meets or surpasses the planned minimum gold metallurgical recovery rate, feedstock from a high-grade stockpile will be used to maximize the initial cash flow. Given the current buoyant gold price, this initial cash flow (see technical report dated Sept. 28, 2004, in Stockwatch`s SEDAR files) is expected to yield a net operating profit above the projected $350,000 (U.S.) per month based on a gold price of $450 (U.S.) per ounce.

Operating profits are largely earmarked for reinvestment in exploration drilling designed to substantially expand current resource inventories and further explore and assess the potential of the company`s flagship gold properties -- Bong Mieu and Phuoc Son.

During the second half of 2006 an expansion of the Bong Mieu process plant capacity from 500 tonnes per day to 800 tpd is expected to be completed. Provisions for further expansion in plant capacity have been incorporated into the existing plant design.

Conceptual studies are now in progress to investigate the feasibility of production at the high-grade Bong Mieu underground. If feasible, the Bong Mieu plant capacity may be further expanded to accommodate increased production at a (blended) head grade substantially above the current open-pit ROM (run of mine) grade.

As previously reported (see Stockwatch of Oct. 5, 2005), a $3.25-million (U.S.) exploration will also be embarked upon in early 2006.

      Wann kommt der nächste Schub????

Thereafter he has owned and managed a consulting firm involved in numerous projects for clients worldwide including South Africa, Australia, Vietnam, Fiji, Malaysia, China and Japan. In order to assume the role of President of Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc., he has resigned as of this date as Managing Director of Zedex Minerals (a 15.5% shareholder of OYM), a position he has held since January 2004. "He has been credited for the successful turnaround of operations on the verge of closure to sustained profitability and we welcome him as the first of our deposits on the Bong Mieu Gold property enters production in the third quarter of this year."

The Board of Directors extends its appreciation to Joseph Baylis, who has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director, for his significant contributions during the past several years and is pleased that he will be available to Olympus on a consultancy basis. During his tenure, the company has been repositioned with an experienced management team, significant exploration results obtained and the Bong Mieu Gold property now poised to commence production. Der Emerging-Market Gold-SUPERSTAR :
      Olympus Pacific Minerals

Kursziel 1,50 Euro auf Sicht von 6-12 Monate
      Aktuell 0,44 Euro / WKN 856213

Phuc Son bringt enormes Zukunftspotential !

Olympus Pacific - Bong Mieu Update - Drilling Increases Ho Gan Resource Estimates

TORONTO, March 23 /CNW Telbec/ - Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. (TSXV:
OYM, Frankfurt: OP6) is pleased to announce that new resource estimates have
been completed for the Ho Gan open pit deposit, on the Company's 80% owned
Bong Mieu Gold Property located some 80 kilometres south of the port city of
      Danang, Vietnam.
The new resource estimates are based on a new resource model that
incorporates the previously released results of a diamond drill program
carried out in November 2004 (See OYM Press Release dated January 17, 2005).
This drill program consisted of 130 diamond drill holes totalling
1,059 metres, focused primarily on the 1&2, 7&8 and 10&11 areas of the Ho Gan
deposit. The objectives of the drill program were to expand the resource and
define the known limits of the deposit in these areas to enable detailed
engineering of the pit outlines and the preparation of production schedules.
The drill program has successfully increased the resources at Ho Gan.
Ounces in the measured and indicated categories have increased by 9,300 ounces
(12%) and 5,500 ounces have been added to the inferred category (using a 1.0 g
Au/t cutoff and 10.0 g Au/t top cut). It is expected that this resource
increase will add approximately one year of production to the operation.
      To
date, step out and infill drilling has been completed on approximately one
third of the known deposit area. The remaining two thirds of the deposit
remain open and will be drilled during the production life of the deposit.

(*) From a Technical Report by Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited ("WGM")
dated September 17, 2004. The WGM review and report were carried out and
prepared in compliance with National Instrument 43-101Standards of
Disclosure for Mineral projects ("NI 43-101") in terms of structure and
content and the Mineral Resource audit and classification were carried
out in accordance with the provisions of NI 43-101 guidelines and the
Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum definitions ("CIM
standards"). The WGM Technical Report, to NI-43-101 standards, is
      available on www.sedar.com .

(xx)Inferred resources are in addition to measured and indicated
      resources
      >>

A copy of the supporting Technical Report covering the updated Ho Gan
mineral resource estimates will be filed at www.sedar.com as soon as it is
      available.
The flat lying Ho Gan deposit occurs on surface over an area of
1000 metres by 800 metres and extends in most places to a known vertical depth
of up to 15 metres. The gold mineralization is hosted within intrusive and
shear related breccias, altered intrusive rocks and quartz veins.
The Ho Gan deposit was the subject of an independent pre-feasibility
report completed by Micon International Limited in November of 2004. The Micon
report does not incorporate the new resource estimates set out in this
release. A copy of the NI 43 - 101 compliant Technical Report prepared by
Micon can be found at www.sedar.com or at www.olympuspacific.com .
Construction at Ho Gan is progressing on schedule. Clearing of the plant
site and the excavation for the crushing system has been completed. Offices,
accommodations and the construction of a causeway across the Bong Mieu River
are nearing completion. Clearing of the tailings area and construction of a
new access road to the plant site is well underway. Construction of 22Kw power
line will commence before month end.
The Bong Mieu Gold property covers an area of approximately 30 square
kilometers and currently hosts three known deposits; the Ho Gan deposit, the
potentially open pittable Ho Ray deposit and the underground Nui Kem deposit.
An Investment License has been obtained for the property and Mining Permits
have been obtained for the Ho Gan and Nui Kem deposits. A sketch of the Bong
Mieu Gold property can be found with the copy of this press release posted at
      www.olympuspacific.com .

Unless otherwise noted, the technical information in this release has
been prepared and/or reviewed by Mr. Roger Dahn, Vice President
Exploration and/or Mr. Rod Murftt, Director General Vietnam of Olympus
Pacific Minerals Inc., who are Qualified Persons as defined by National

by Mr. Murfitt to ensure best practices in sampling and analysis of drill

Services Co. Ltd. located in Bangkok, Thailand, performs sample
      preparation and analyses.

Mineral resources that are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated
economic viability. Mineral resource estimates do not account for
mineability, selectivity, mining loss and dilution. These mineral
resource estimates include inferred mineral resources that are normally
considered too speculative geologically to have economic considerations
applied to them that would enable them to be categorized as mineral
reserves. There is also no certainty that these inferred resources will
be converted to measured and indicated categories through further
drilling, or into mineral reserves once economic considerations are
      applied.

STATEMENTS CONTAINED IN THIS RELEASE THAT ARE NOT HISTORICAL FACTS ARE
FORWARD-LOOKING STATEMENTS WHICH INVOLVE RISK AND UNCERTAINTIES, WHICH
COULD CAUSE ACTUAL RESULTS TO DIFFER MATERIALLY FROM THOSE EXPRESSED IN
THE FORWARD-LOOKING STATEMENTS. THE COMPANY RELIES UPON LITIGATION
      PROTECTION FOR FORWARD-LOOKING STATEMENTS.

THE TSX VENTURE EXCHANGE HAS NOT REVIEWED AND DOES NOT ACCEPT
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ADEQUACY OR ACCURACY OF THIS RELEASE.

Olympus Pacific's Phuoc Son resource increases 80%

      2006-05-03 11:56 ET - News Release

      Mr. Jim Hamilton reports

OLYMPUS INCREASES RESOURCES, EXTENDS DEPOSIT, AND COMMENCES 2006 DRILL PROGRAM AT PHUOC SON

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. has confirmed an increase of approximately 80 per cent in the measured and indicated resource at the North deposit on the Phuoc Son gold property.

The measured and indicated resource at Phuoc Son now stands at 203,700 ounces at an average grade of 13.6 grams per tonne and comprises: total measured resources of 70,950 ounces from 143,000 tonnes, grading 15.42 g/t, and indicated resources of 132,750 ounces from 323,000 tonnes, grading 12.79 g/t. The North deposit (formerly referred to as Bai Go) remains open with substantial potential to add further resources.

The updated resource estimate was based on successful step-out drilling results completed in 2005 including 134.72 g/t gold over 2.51 metres, 6.86 g/t over 9.45 metres (including 11.35 g/t over 4.6 metres), 9.78 g/t gold over 1.65 metres, 20.35 g/t gold over 0.57 metre in holes 132, 146, 137 and 138, respectively (see Stockwatch on Dec. 12, 2005).

The new resource estimate completed by the company incorporates data from an additional nine step-out and infill holes totalling 1,637 metres that were completed since the original National Instrument 43-101 resource estimate by Watts, Griffis and McOuat Ltd. dated Jan. 30, 2004.

Resource increases announced during 2005 on the South deposit drilling showed a 21-per-cent rise in the measured and indicated categories (see Stockwatch on Dec. 12, 2005). The updated resource estimates for both deposits are set out in the attached tables.

      2006 exploration drill program commences

An exploration drill program planned to total approximately 6,000 metres commenced on April 24, 2006. The program uses three diamond drill rigs and will:

      continue step-out drilling the north and south extensions of the South deposit, with the objective of significant resource upgrades;
test the northern strike extent of the deposit trend which has a defined extent of over one kilometre; and
complete first pass drill evaluation of three newly delineated target areas which have similar anomalous soil geochemical and geophysical signatures as the known deposits. One of these areas covers a new, parallel structure identified approximately one kilometre to the east of the known deposits. Fieldwork, including soil geochemical surveys, geophysics (magnetics and self-potential) and trenching, has confirmed a major west-dipping shear zone that hosts significant thicknesses of vein quartz (plus-eight-metres).

The company's 85-per-cent-owned Phuoc Son gold property is located in central Vietnam. Phuoc Son to date contains two known deposits (North and South deposits) and is located along the Phuoc Son-Sepon Suture hosting such world-class deposits as Oxiana's Sepon deposit to the east.

Diagrams showing the location of the drill holes, updated resource estimates together with a copy of this release, and additional Olympus information can be found on the company's website.

Unless otherwise noted, the technical information in this release has been prepared and/or reviewed by Roger Dahn, vice-president, exploration, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The company employs a quality control program to ensure best practices in sampling and analysis of drill core and rock samples. Mineral Assay and Services Co. Ltd., located in Bangkok, Thailand, performs sample preparation and analyses.

Olympus drills 4.54 m of 11.43 g/t Au at Phuoc Son

      2006-09-26 12:44 ET - News Release

      Mr. David Seton reports

OLYMPUS-CONTINUED DRILLING SUCCESS AT PHUOC SON PROPERTY

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. has provided further positive drill results from continuing exploration on the Phuoc Son gold property. The company plans continued step-out drilling to potentially expand the resource base of the Phuoc Son project.

At the North deposit, hole 179, located on the northernmost drill section, extended the mineralized zone and returned assays of 10.99 grams per tonne gold over 3.01 metres.

Drilling approximately 250 metres south of the North deposit returned significant gold values of 4.95 g/t gold over 1.22 m (refer to Stockwatch news dated July 25, 2006) and 8.2 g/t gold over 1.5 m in holes 168 and 46 extension, respectively.

Additional step-out drilling is under way to further expand and delineate the limits of the mineralized system.

Olympus chairman and chief executive officer David Seton stated that the results were extremely significant, "Not only is our resource continuing to grow with the completion of each drilling program but also the discovery of mineralization between the two deposits as well as the strike extensions are suggesting the potential for a much larger resource."

      Overview of Olympus

Olympus has $c15 million cash in the bank as the result of a March 2006 private placement. The funds have enabled the company to focus on its primary goal: to make a major gold discovery in central Vietnam through its aggressive drilling programs. There are currently five rigs operating in the field--two at Bong Mieu and three at Phuoc Son.

The company recently published favorable drill results and expects to have more drilling news this fall. The developmental stage of the Bong Mieu pilot gold plant is progressing well and gold production is increasing each month with full production expected in the fourth quarter of 2006. David Senton (CEO of Olympus) has recently been quoted as saying they are now producing 650 ounces a month from Bong Mieu and expects to be producing 20000 ounces of gold annually next year.
Cash flow from the pilot plant production will be allocated towards further exploration at Bong Mieu. Partial funding will be dedicated towards a production facility at Phuoc Son. The company is finalizing the latter property's feasibility study for completion in the fourth quarter of 2006. Production at Phuoc Son should follow within 18 to 24 months.

The potential for significant resource expansion at the Phuoc Son deposits is excellent. Drill results in 2005--such as 134.72 g/t gold over 2.51 metres and 6.86 g/t over 9.45 metres--outside the deposit's area suggest the high potential of Olympus' properties. From these findings and other exploration activities the "productive" Phuoc Son deposit trend is now defined over a total strike length of approximately 5 km.

Olympus is well positioned for success as an emerging producer with its current mine development at Bong Mieu mine. The company is an aggressive explorer in areas of known mineralization and has an experienced management team focused on making major gold discoveries throughout southeast asia.

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. continues to lag its fundamentals and although it has come off its recent low of .30 cents, hitting .47 cents just the other day, it once again has come under selling pressure from retail investors, closing down today at .39 cents.

Compared to its peers, OYM remains significantly undervalued … many junior gold exploration companies would love to be in Olympus’s position, having one mine online with a production cost of $209 an ounce and a second higher grade mine to come online within 18 months with a production cost of $145 an ounce.

Their active drill program continues to produce impressive results that will expand the known reserves. Furthermore the company is backed up by strong management and institutional ownership … the majority of the shares is held by these two groups and none are selling!

Now I am no Technical Analyst and for the most part I focus on the fundamentals, but there is one TA indicator I do pay attention to and that is the On Balance Volume (OBV).

As the chart shows, the OBV for Olympus has recently moved up sharply indicating the stock has been under heavy accumulation of late.

It would appear as the retail investor gives up and sells their positions (most likely at a loss), some patient astute investors have been quietly taking it off their hands.

      Olympus-Continues Further Vietnam Exploration Success

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Nov 02, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. (TSX: OYM)(FRANKFURT: OP6) -

      HIGHLIGHTS:

      - Drilling intersects significant Gold-Tungsten mineralization at Bong Mieu.

      - Surface work outlines new areas of mineralization highlighting the Property's excellent, near surface potential for additional major discoveries and resource expansion.

      - Continues on from recent exploration success at Company's second project at Phuoc Son.

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. (TSX: OYM)(FRANKFURT: OP6) is pleased to report significant exploration results from ongoing exploration on the Bong Mieu Gold property.

      Drill Program

Olympus has recently completed 3,020 metre drill program consisting of 66 shallow holes in the Bong Mieu East deposit area. Drilling results from the program indicate:

      - significant tungsten mineralization is associated with the gold bearing zone,

      - gold-tungsten (W) grades up to 21.5 g/t gold, 0.79% W for a 30.12 g/t gold equivalent grade over 4.0 metres,

      - the associated tungsten greatly enhances the potential value of the mineralization, and

      - 275 metre step-out (hole 183) to the north of the BM East deposit encountered similar gold mineralized lithologies, thus significant untested potential exists to the north.

Representative material from both sulfide and oxide ore types has been sent to SGS Lakefield Research (Lakefield) in Canada for preliminary metallurgical test-work. The results of the metallurgical test-work and the updating of the Bong Mieu East resource estimates will be released once available.

The mineralization is hosted by highly altered, veined and sulfide bearing skarn, granite gneiss and schist rocks that dip moderately to the northeast. Assay highlights from the recent phase of drilling are outlined in the table attached to this release. Tables of complete drill assay results can be viewed at http://www.ccnmatthews.com/docs/East-Deposit-Drilling-progra…

      Surface Exploration

Field exploration programs consisting of geological mapping, prospecting and trenching on the property has identified three new areas of favorable alteration and mineralization warranting further detailed exploration work and drill testing. These surface results indicate the excellent, large-scale, near surface potential of the property.

      - Trenching programs returned results of 1.86 g/t gold over 14.0 metres and 8.43 g/t gold over 5.0 metres (Thac Trang NE).

      - Surface sampling over a 450 metre by 200 metre area has outlined significant alteration with anomalous gold values including 26.90 g/t gold from grab samples

      (Northwest Prospects).

      - Channel sample results include 56.90 g/t gold over 1.2 metres and 12.54 g/t gold over 0.70 metres (South Trend Prospects).

      - The Company's President, Colin Patterson, said "the ongoing exploration success at Bong Mieu continues to support our decision to build the Bong Mieu Central plant as a pilot operation. We have proven we can operate in Vietnam and that validates our team and the country. Now, as we don't know how large this project could ultimately be, we will need to carefully evaluate any operational expansion plans to ensure that future production capacities are maximized.

      - "The real exploration potential of our properties is now being shown." Patterson added, "the company can look forward to realizing the full value of its world-class exploration assets in the region."

Olympus Opens Up Bong Mieu Underground With Exploration Decline
Thursday November 9, 10:52 am ET
      - Portal construction is underway for new underground access to the Bong Mieu Underground Deposit.
      - The mineralization is extensive, having a known strike length in excess of 2.0 kilometres.
      - Extensions to the deposit remain open down plunge and along strike.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 9, 2006) - Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. (TSX: OYM - News; Frankfurt:OP6 - News) is pleased to report that construction of a new portal is well underway and that approximately 12 metres of excavation have been completed on the decline which will provide new access to the BM Underground deposit (Nui Kem) located along the South Trend at the Bong Mieu Gold Property. The underground development will total approximately 450 metres.

Once completed, the new underground development will provide a platform to allow underground exploration drilling of the down plunge extent of the deposit. Initially, this program will focus on the eastern portion of deposit but will be extended systematically along the entire 2 km strike length.

Country Manager, Charlie Barclay, said, "The development will have the added benefit of being able to access the old mine workings in order to mine existing ore which was left behind when the mine originally closed in 1942 as a result of the second world war. An ore block has already been prepared through the old accesses and early revenue will be generated once the new decline reaches the ore horizon.

Roger Dahn, VP Exploration, added, "We are very excited to be able to access this large and persistent structure from underground. Widely spaced surface exploration holes completed in 2005 have already successfully confirmed the down-dip continuation of the main deposit structure over a strike length of 1.7 kilometres. Proceeding with a combined underground and surface exploration approach will be the most cost effective method to define and further expand the large scale potential of this deposit. Plus, to have the development funded by opening the deposit for the Bong Mieu plant is just an exceptional opportunity. "

Surface exploration programs along the South Trend in 2007 will also test the large-scale potential of the mineralized trend by following up:

      - The near surface extension of the deposit as indicated by recent assay results of 11.74 g/t gold over 1 metre from surface channel sampling located more than 300 metres west of the underground workings; and

      - The occurrence of stacked high-grade mineralization including 56.90 g/t gold over 1.2 metres located about 100 metres vertically above the main deposit (OYM Press released dated Nov. 2, 2006).

To view Bong Mieu outline map and photo of Nui Kem portal construction in progress please follow the link http://www.ccnmatthews.com/docs/oym1109.pdf.

The Company has two major projects-the 85% owned Phuoc Son project and the 80% owned Bong Mieu Gold property-located in central Vietnam along the Phuoc Son-Sepon Suture. This Suture hosts other world-class deposits such as Oxiana's Sepon Deposit to the east. Bong Mieu to date contains three known deposits and Phuoc Son two known deposits.

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc., as first mover in Vietnam, is positioned to become a leading gold producer and explorer in Southeast Asia. Olympus is committed to its vision of making major discoveries in the region and increasing shareholder wealth.

Resource Status Note: Updated by Olympus (March 2005) from the prior mineral resource estimates prepared by Watts, Griffis and McOuat ('WGM") in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 and the Council of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum definitions standards. The resource totals include historical resource estimates. The Technical Report to accompany these historical resource estimates was the pre-feasibility study compiled in 1996 by Continental Resource Management Pty Ltd., acting as independent resource consultants. These estimates have been reviewed by Watts, Griffis and McOuat ("WGM") in 1997 and were found to have been carried out in a manner consistent with standard practice in the industry at the time. WGM considered the estimates to be relevant and of historic significance. A copy of the Technical Report titled A Technical Review of the Bong Mieu Gold Project in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam dated September 17, 2004 by WGM can be found in the Company's filings at www.sedar.com.

Olympus Expands Regionally Into Northern Philippines
Thursday November 23, 1:53 pm ET
      HIGHLIGHTS:
      - Capcapo gold property is strategically located north of the prolific Baguio-Mankayan Gold District which has combined production, current reserves and resources in excess of 60 million ounces of gold.
      - Field verification program includes trench channel sample results of 6.78 g/t Au over 20 meters '65 feet'
      - Philippine partner Abra Mining & Industrial Corporation 'AMIC' provides strong local partnership.
      - Drilling to start in the 1st quarter of 2007.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 23, 2006) - Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. (TSX: OYM - News; FRANKFURT:OP6 - News) is pleased to announce that the Company has entered into an agreement, subject to completion of due diligence, whereby the Company and Philippine interests associated with the Company can earn a 60% interest in the Capcapo Project, located in Abra Province, Northern Luzon, Philippines.

Recent results from Olympus' field verification program of the main prospect returned channel sampling assays of 6.78 g/t gold and 8.36 g/t silver over 20 meters (65 feet) from previous excavated trenches. These assay results confirmed the surface mineralization documented by AMIC. In addition, other prospects on the property have been identified through previous reconnaissance work by AMIC.

To view the Project Location Map follow:

      http://www.ccnmatthews.com/docs/olympus1123.pdf

Roger Dahn, VP Exploration, states, "We are excited about the major potential at Capcapo and our strategic partnership with AMIC. This project area has all the similar characteristics as the Baguio District but has remained virtually unexplored to date. We see this land package and partnership as a long-term strategy for Olympus' exploration in the Northern Philippines. Also part of the agreement terms is a right-of-first refusal covering approximately 320 km2 of other AMIC/Jabel Corporation tenements within this highly prospective area."

AMIC's President and Chairman, Jeremias B. Beloy, states, "The entry of Olympus as AMIC's strategic partner signifies the crucial shift of mining activities from the southern part to the northern portion of the Philippines where it is most needed. With Olympus' strength and substance and AMIC's unwavering vision of progress for the region, there can only be greater times ahead not only for Abra Province but also for the Philippines. Finally, work can officially commence to tap the vast resources and potential riches of the property."

Olympus' Chairman, David Seton, said, "This acquisition, which we have been working on for over eight months, is an integral part of our strategy to become a significant regional explorer and developer. I believe our success in negotiating this truly exciting ground is due to our reputation gained by our development work at the Company's advanced projects at Bong Mieu and Phuoc Son in Vietnam."

The Capcapo project includes approximately 43 km2 of mining and exploration tenements held by AMIC and Jabel Corporation (JABEL) within Abra Province, Northern Luzon, Philippines. Road access to the project area is good. Principal terms of the agreement are:

      1. Olympus and Philippine interests associated with the Company can earn a 60% interest in the Capcapo Project by making a series of staged cash and share payments to AMIC totaling US$1 million and completing exploration and/or development work totaling US$6 million prior to the 5th anniversary of signing.

      2. Once vested, a Joint Venture will be formed to fund and manage the future exploration, development and production on the property.

      3. Olympus and Philippine interests associated with the Company will have a right-of-first refusal covering approximately 320 km2 of other AMIC/JABEL tenements in the area.

      4. An underlying royalty of 3% of the gross value of production or 6% of the annual profit of the Joint Venture, whichever is higher, shall be paid to JABEL commencing 1 year after full commercial production.

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc., as first mover in Vietnam, is positioned to become a leading gold producer and explorer in Southeast Asia. Olympus is committed to its vision of making major discoveries in the region and increasing shareholder wealth.

Unless otherwise noted, the technical information in this release has been prepared and/or reviewed by Mr. Roger Dahn, Vice President Exploration, a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The Company employs a quality control program to ensure best practices in sampling and analysis of drill core and rock samples.

Olympus to make friendly all-share bid for Zedex

      2006-11-24 17:45 ET - News Release

      Mr. David Seton reports

OLYMPUS' INTENDED TAKEOVER OFFER FOR ASX LISTED, ASIAN REGIONAL EXPLORER ZEDEX MINERALS LIMITED

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. intends to make an offmarket, all-equity takeover offer for Australian Stock Exchange-listed exploration company Zedex Minerals Ltd. The proposed acquisition of the other main Vietnamese gold explorer represents a significant step forward in Olympus's growth strategy of becoming a major Southeast Asian-focused gold player. It will significantly bolster Olympus's exploration pipeline and provide further diversification in geographical, political and resource terms as well as adding valuable management resources, reducing market confusion and reinforcing the company's objective of becoming a premier Southeast Asian-focused gold company.

The offmarket, all-equity offer will comprise one Olympus share and 0.25 contingent right (as defined below) for every three Zedex shares, with all convertible securityholders being treated similarly. It is intended that the offer will be for 100 per cent of Zedex. On completion of the takeover, Olympus intends to be listed on both the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Australian Stock Exchange and shareholder approval will be sought to rename the company Olympus Gold Inc.

Olympus' Intended Takeover Offer for ASX Listed, Asian Regional Explorer Zedex Minerals Limited
Friday November 24, 5:17 pm ET

      TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 24, 2006) - Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. (TSX:OYM - News) -

      HIGHLIGHTS:

      - Olympus advises its intention to make off market, all equity offer for Zedex Minerals Limited.

      - Lock up agreements in place for 37% of Zedex.

      - Enlarged company will seek shareholder approval to be renamed Olympus Gold Inc.

      - Acquisition will reposition Olympus as major regional explorer active on at least 6 world scale exploration projects in Vietnam, Australia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. ("Olympus" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it intends to make an off-market, all equity takeover offer for Australian Stock Exchange-listed exploration company Zedex Minerals Limited (ASX:ZDX - News; "Zedex"). The proposed acquisition of the other main Vietnamese gold explorer represents a significant step forward in Olympus' growth strategy of becoming a major Southeast Asian focused gold player. It will significantly bolster Olympus' exploration pipeline and provide further diversification in geographical, political, and resource terms as well as adding valuable management resources, reducing market confusion, and reinforcing the Company's objective of becoming a premier SE Asian focused gold company.

The off-market, all equity offer will comprise one Olympus share and 0.25 Contingent Right (as defined below) for every three Zedex shares, with all convertible security holders being treated similarly. It is intended that the offer will be for 100% of Zedex. On completion of the takeover, Olympus intends to be listed on both the TSX and the ASX and shareholder approval will be sought to rename the company, Olympus Gold Inc.

Assuming successful completion, there will be a cancellation of 26.9 million shares currently held by Zedex in Olympus as well as the 2% royalty held by Zedex over Olympus' Bong Mieu project.

As a consequence, Olympus will increase the number of its issued shares by 19.2 million to 183 million (fully diluted to 251 million) and its ordinary shares will be held as to Olympus shareholders 74.61% and Zedex shareholders 25.39% (Zedex currently holds 16.44%).

Olympus has reached agreement with certain key shareholders of Zedex and 37% of Zedex's shares, including those associated with the Seton family, have been made the subject of lock-up agreements under which, those holders of Zedex securities have agreed to accept the takeover offer.

Zedex is an Australasian-focused exploration company with interests in a number of gold and base metals projects in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Australia.

In Vietnam, Zedex has numerous projects of which Tien Thuan and Ban Phuong are of particular interest, due to their world-scale exploration potential for copper, gold, and molybdenum.

In Malaysia, Zedex has a joint venture over the considerable Bau Gold Field which has estimated past production in excess of 3,000,000 oz from primitive mining techniques. The Company believes the project is highly prospective for large scale epithermal and Carlin style deposits. Canada's Cameco reportedly invested approximately $20,000,000 in the project area in the mid-90s.

At Enmore in Australia, Zedex has programs underway testing this historic goldfield which contains 39 historic hard rock mines.

Company Chairman, David Seton, said he was extremely excited about the proposed acquisition. "The alignment of our interests into Olympus will form a very powerful company. We now have extraordinary skills and depth in our management team, and we are looking forward to making the discoveries that will make us a great company. These new projects, which are extremely complementary to our growing projects at Bong Mieu, Phuoc Son, and Capcapo (Northern Philippines) are truly significant acquisitions for us. We now have the people and the assets to achieve our goal of being a significant force in the region."

Further details of Zedex's projects can be seen at www.zedex.com.au.

The financial advisers to the Independent Committee of the Board of Olympus in respect of the potential acquisition are Blair Franklin Capital Partners Inc. of Toronto, who have provided their opinion that the consideration offered to Zedex shareholders is fair, from a financial point of view, to the common shareholders of Olympus, other than Zedex.

The legal advisers to the Independent Committee of the Board are Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP of Toronto.

The Company's legal advisers are Buddle Findlay in New Zealand, Blakiston Crabb in Australia and Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP in Canada.

      Proposed Offer Terms

Olympus' offer for Zedex shareholders is intended to be as follows.

      Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc.

      Oct 09, 2007 13:21 ET
Olympus Announces Increased Gold Equivalent Resource of 833,500 oz. at Bong Mieu
      HIGHLIGHTS

      - An upgrade of Resources at Bong Mieu East has increased total gold Resources at the Bong Mieu Project area to 664,500 ounces. This figure rises to 833,500 ounces when the gold equivalent value of tungsten in the Bong Mieu East deposit is included.

      - A fully funded US$ 8 million Budget has been approved by the Board of Olympus Pacific for a Preliminary Feasibility Study to determine the viability of a 100,000 ounce per year treatment plant to be undertaken in parallel with a Resource and Exploration drilling program totalling 12,000 meters over the next 18 months.

      - The Bong Mieu drilling program will target reserves and resources totalling between 2.5 and 3.5 million tonnes averaging 5 to 6 g/t Au adding some 400,000 to 675,000 ounces to the Resource base by mid-2009.
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 9, 2007) - Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. (TSX:OYM) is pleased to report significant increases to the mineral resource at the Bong Mieu Gold Property as outlined in a Technical Report prepared by Terra Mining Consultants and Stevens & Associates ("TMC/SA") The full text of the report is available on the Olympus and Sedar websites: (www.olympuspacifc.com) (www.sedar.com).

TMC/SA reviewed planned exploration and development programs and agreed that the projects have merit and justify the programs and levels of projected expenditure.

TMC/SA recommended that a preliminary feasibility study be undertaken to review the three gold deposits at the Bong Mieu Project in their entirety to evaluate the development of a larger gold processing plant capable of producing approximately 100,000 oz of gold annually.

The Bong Mieu property is located in the southeast corner of Quang Nam Province of central Vietnam, some 70 km south of the port city of Danang and 20 km southwest of the provincial capital Tam Ky. The property hosts four known gold deposits - Ho Gan, Ho Ray, Thac Trang and Nui Kem.

      BONG MIEU UNDERGROUND

At Nui Kem, Olympus is developing a decline to access levels below the old mine, a hanging wall drive will be developed for exploration drilling. Further exploration drill holes are planned which will determine the extent and value of the resource.

To view The Bong Mieu Gold property map, please visit the following link:
      http://www.ccnmatthews.com/docs/oymmap1009.pdf

      BONG MIEU EAST

The TMC/SA report focuses on the Ho Ray / Thac Trang (Bong Mieu East) gold/tungsten/fluorine deposit and provided an update on the Ho Gan gold deposit. TMC/SA audited the Mineral Resource estimate for the Ho Ray and Thac Trang deposits prepared by Olympus and validated the resulting block model tonnages and grades. TMC/SA classified the Resources using the CIMM standards as required by NI 43-101.

      - Measured and Indicated Resource categories at Bong Mieu East are increased to 129,300 ounces gold (Measured Resources 46,100 ounces and Indicated Resources 83,200 ounces) Inferred Resources total 86,200 ounces gold.

      - The tungsten content of the Resource has been estimated for the first time. Tungsten Measured and Indicated Resources are 1.98 million kg (Measured Resources 0.78 million kg and Indicated Resources 1.20 million kg). Inferred Resources are estimated at 1.77 million kg.

      - Using values of US$250/MTU for tungsten and US$700/oz. for gold, the value of the tungsten in the Bong Mieu East Resource is equivalent to a further 169,000 ounces. (One MTU contains 7.93kg tungsten as WO3)

The TMC/SA report reviews and compares historical resource estimates, estimation methodology and comparative estimates while detailing the methodology used to make the Resource Estimates summarised in Tables 1 and 2 (below).

The Ho Ray, Thac Trang and combined Bong Mieu East Mineral Resource estimates are shown in Tables 1, 2 and 3. The gold resource estimates are based on a 0.5 g/t Au cut-off and 10 g/t Au top cut.

DATA ANALYSIS AND RESOURCE CALCULATION METHODOLOGY

The statistical analyses and block model calculation methodology used in the TMC/SA report are detailed on pages 105 to 145 of that report.

      - In the Ho Ray and Thac Trang deposits top cut values for gold, tungsten and fluorine were 10 g/t Au, 10,000 ppm W and 4.5% F were applied. No lower cut-off was applied to tungsten and fluorine data whilst a 0.5 g/t cut-off was used for gold.

      - Densities used for calculating tonnage were 1.97 g/ccm in oxide material and 2.81 g/ccc for sulphide ores.

      - Block models were created in Gemcom. The mineralised zone wireframes were filled with 2m x 2m x 1m model cells.

Forward-looking information is subject to a variety of risks and uncertainties which could cause actual events or results to differ from those reflected in the forward-looking information, including, without limitation, failure to establish estimated resources or to convert resources to mineable reserves; the grade and recovery of ore which is mined varying from estimates; capital and operating costs varying significantly from estimates; delays in obtaining or failure to obtain required governmental, environmental or other project approvals; changes in national and local government legislation or regulations regarding environmental factors, royalties, taxation or foreign investment; political or economic instability; terrorism; inflation; changes in currency exchange rates; fluctuations in commodity prices; delays in the development of projects; shortage of personnel with the requisite knowledge and skills to design and execute exploration and development programs; difficulties in arranging contracts for drilling and other exploration and development services; dependency on equity market financings to fund programs and maintain and develop mineral properties; risks associated with title to resource properties due to the difficulties of determining the validity of certain claims and other risks and uncertainties, including those described in each management discussion and analysis. In addition, forward-looking information is based on various assumptions including, without limitation, the expectations and beliefs of management; the assumed long-term price of gold; the availability of permits and surface rights; access to financing, equipment and labour and that the political environment within Vietnam will continue to support the development of environmentally safe mining projects. Should one or more of these risks and uncertainties materialize, or should underlying assumptions prove incorrect, actual results may vary materially from those described in forward-looking statements. Accordingly, readers are advised not to place undue reliance on forward-looking information. Except as required under applicable securities legislation, the Company undertakes no obligation to publicly update or revise forward-looking information, whether as a result of new information, future events or otherwise.

No news are bad news.
