CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - April 21, 2006) - CDG Investments Inc. (CNQ:CDGI) (OTCBB:CDGEF - News; "CDG") is pleased to announce that it has received an Advance Tax Ruling from the Canada Revenue Agency to the effect that the distribution of substantially all of the common shares in Tyler Resources Inc. ("Tyler"-TYS-TSX-V-TYRRF-OTC-BB) held by CDG, and the distribution of certain cash amounts, in excess of amounts to be retained for the purposes of paying outstanding liabilities, financing future business opportunities and paying future operational costs (collectively the "Distributions"), will be treated as a tax-deferred return of paid-up capital to the extent that the fair market value of the Distributions does not exceed the paid up capital of the common shares of CDG, which is estimated at approximately $1.00 per share.
CDG will distribute one share of Tyler for each three CDG common shares ("CDG Shares") owned by shareholders of CDG, together with a cash dividend of $0.07 per share, on May 12, 2006 to the CDG shareholders of record as at April 28, 2006.
