Axia Group Inc. Reports on Progress in Southeast Asia
Tuesday October 17, 9:00 am ET

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Axia Group, Inc. (OTC Pinksheets: AXGJ) released today a progress report on its business activities in Sri Lanka. The following statement was provided by Jeffrey Flannery, CEO of axia Group, Inc.:

"We just completed a trip to Sri Lanka and are pleased to report that we have made good progress on a number of fronts. First of all, we completed the agreement to acquire MicroConstruction, a company in Sri Lanka that has been building with our panel based technology. This acquisition gives us a solid operational base in Southeast Asia, a region that has a huge need for our technology as they rebuild their cities and towns.

We have now completed 140 homes of the 250 homes we are contracted to build for the Austrian nongovernmental agency, SOS Kinderdorf, in the tsunami affected area of Batticaloa. To date, we have received payments totaling more than $1 million on this project and are presently scheduled to complete this $1.8 million project in the first quarter of 2007. The conflict in the area has slowed our efforts but our team has indeed persevered! The homes look beautiful and have been extremely well accepted by the owners and the government.

We recently completed the 19 home project in Galle, a city in southern Sri Lanka. This project represented about $80,000 in revenue and was very successful. We have not pursued any new projects for tsunami homes as government plans for these projects have changed and we are awaiting information on how we can further participate. Financials reflecting the company\'s activities up to the end of September 2006 are being prepared and I hope to release those publicly soon.

In terms of new business, we have signed a contract with REEL, a government organization dedicated to new housing projects in Sri Lanka, a project which represents our foray into the commercial home building industry. We are currently completing a $50,000 two story twenty unit building as a fully paid pilot study. Once the project meets their inspection, REEL has hundreds of units that need to be built. REEL\'s interest in Axia stems from the fact that our technology cuts time to completion by almost 50% and so facilitates bank financing and allows people to take possession of these new homes sooner.

We have also signed a new contract for a small project in India, our first in this vast country. This pilot will have us building a model home for an Indian company that has plans to build hundreds of low income homes in that country. Several other projects are pending approval, but the good news is that our efforts to gain acceptance for the panel technology is now beginning to bear fruit. We have passed many tests with the Sri Lankan and Indian people and look forward to growing our business there.

Finally, we have now ventured into China as well. We spent an exciting two weeks in China meeting with various government and industry officials. We expect to enter into serious discussions about specific projects in China in the very near future. We also spent time looking at materials and equipment that could be used to improve efficiency at our work sites.

Additional information on these and other activities will be made public in the days to come. Please look to our web site for more up-to-date company and investor information."

Investors are cautioned that certain statements contained in this document as well as some statements in periodic press releases and some oral statements of AXGJ officials are "Forward-Looking Statements" within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 (the "Act"). Forward-looking statements include statements which are predictive in nature, which depend upon or refer to future events or conditions, which include words such as "believes," "anticipates," "intends," "plans," "expects," and similar expressions. In addition, any statements concerning future financial performance (including future revenues, earnings or growth rates), ongoing business strategies or prospects, and possible future AXGJ actions, which may be provided by management, are also forward-looking statements as defined by the Act. Forward-looking statements involve known and unknown risks, uncertainties, and other factors which may cause the actual results, performance or achievements of the Company to materially differ from any future results, performance, or achievements expressed or implied by such forward-looking statements and to vary significantly from reporting period to reporting period. Although management believes that the assumptions made and expectations reflected in the forward-looking statements are reasonable, there is no assurance that the underlying assumptions will, in fact, prove to be correct or that actual future results will not be different from the expectations expressed in this report. These statements are not guarantees of future performance and AXGJ has no specific intention to update these statements.

Axia gruppieren Inc. Berichte über Fortschritt bei Südostasien
      Dienstags17. Oktober, 9:00 a.m. ET

San //diego//, 17.

      Axia Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AXGJ - http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=AXGJ.PK)

Axia Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AXGJ) recently issued the following statement from Jeffrey Flannery, CEO and President, on recent activities and developments in the Company: "We began last year with a modest goal to build a few hundred homes in Sri Lanka. Today we are truly an international company with the ability to expand our efforts worldwide. While growing our efforts in Sri Lanka, we hope within the next few months to demonstrate working projects in Central America, Louisiana and California.

To help us communicate our financial situation with our shareholders, we have hired a new accounting firm to help us update our financial reports and to allow us to be more timely in our reporting to shareholders. While we compile that information, I would like to offer the following update on our activities.

In Sri Lanka, Axia has continued to demonstrate progress on the project that we began last year with SOS Kinderdorf, a German nongovernment organization (NGO). We undertook to rebuild a village on the eastern shore of Sri Lanka, one of the areas hardest hit by the tsunami in 2004. Despite working under extremely harsh conditions, we have built 75 of the strongest and most attractive 'tsunami homes' in the country. The remaining homes will be completed by the end of the year.

By the end of 2006, we hope to show completion of more than $2 million in projects in Sri Lanka and initiation on several million dollars in new projects that we will strive to have completed in 2007. The SOS project in eastern Sri Lanka is $1.8 million in gross revenues. We had projected a 15% to 17% profit margin, but that is being adjusted as delays due to weather and the conflict have diminished our potential profits. However, we are negotiating with SOS to increase payments per home on this project in order to help compensate for these 'Acts of God and War.' In Galle, we are finishing a $180,000 project that will be profitable for the company.

While we will continue to support humanitarian efforts whenever possible, organizations in Sri Lanka have changed their rebuilding strategies in recent months, focusing less on single family homes. While we are continuing our talks and negotiations with other NGOs such as the Red Cross and UNOps, new projects are more along the lines of multistory apartments and school buildings. At the same time, we have much greater interest from the commercial and private sector in our technology. So we expect to see our company's focus shift more towards commercial projects.

To support this new work, we have added Oscar Stadthagen to our team to serve as General Operating Manager. Oscar has been building homes and commercial buildings with the panel technology for more than 9 years in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and other countries. Through his efforts we hope to bring talks with several potential clients to closure in the near future.

Our success in Sri Lanka has also led to new potential opportunities in the US and Central America. We are exploring a strategic relationship in the U.K. that will allow us to expand into Europe. We now have an experienced team of engineers, builders and project managers that can now command projects anywhere in the world. As recent company releases have indicated Axia is aggressively seeking to introduce our technology and building systems in the Southeast and Western United States.

It may appear that we are moving slowly, but when I look back at where we were as a company 8 months ago, I see major progress in many areas. We are now a construction, technology and consulting company that can take on a project of almost any size. We have a presence in the United States, Central America and the Far East. We will not show a profit this year and may not show a profit next year. To expect that from such a young company that has taken on an ambitious business plan is not realistic.

However, in my opinion we are the best at what we do - which is design and build structures with our panel technology. And as the world starts to recognize, as it is now doing, that we need alternative to timber, not just to save our forests but to protect us against storms and to help us save energy, I hope we will be at the forefront of this movement. In the coming months we will demonstrate that we are indeed the best." More information on Axia Group, Inc. can be found on the company web site at www.axiagroup.info.

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Axia Group, Inc. (OTC: AXGJ - News) announced today that it has completed its housing project in the city of Galle in southern Sri Lanka and successfully turned over the new homes to workers of the NobleWear factory. The project consisted of 15 single family residence homes and had a contract value of $98,000.

International Building Technologies Inc., A Subsidiary Of Axia Group Inc., Signs Agreement With Chinese Government to Operate Panel Factory in City of Suijiang
Thursday December 7, 9:00 am ET

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- International Building Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Axia Group, Inc. (OTC Pinksheets: AXGJ), announced today that it has signed an agreement with the Chinese government to install and operate an Axia panel factory to support the rebuilding of the city of Suijiang in the Yunnan Province in China. This factory, which will be 100% owned by IBT, will be the exclusive provider of Axia building panels to the new city of Suijiang. IBT will also provide consulting services to the Chinese government, its contractors and builders on the use of the Axia panel technology. IBT was recently established as a subsidiary of AXGJ in order to support new projects in China.

The ambitious project is a complete rebuilding of Suijiang (which will be known as Suijiang Newtown) and encompasses residential homes, commercial and government buildings, planned and designed by the architecture and civil engineering firms, BeltCollins (http://www.beltcollins.com) and ia&d consultants (http://www.internationaladc.com). The total building area according to the Chinese government is about 3,000,000 square meters (or about 32,550,000 square feet). Management estimates that approximately 1,000,000 square meter, or one third of the buildable area, is estimated to require the use of IBT panels. The agreement with IBT calls for the government of China to require contractors and builders involved in this project to use the IBT panels in those construction areas that can best utilize this technology.

Stated Jeffrey Flannery, CEO of Axia Group, Inc. "This is an opportunity for Axia to display its technological abilities in a showcase city for the government of China. We believe this will help establish our technology as one of the preferred methods for building new homes and other buildings in developing nations. We have worked hard to get this contract, and we want to express our profound gratitude to the Chinese government, especially the officials in the city of Suijiang, for trusting in our experience, capabilities and technology, and allowing us to be a part of this remarkable project."

The city of Suijiang lies along the Jinsha River about 40 miles upstream of the Xiangjiabar hydroelectric power station, the fourth largest in the world, which is being built to provide hydroelectric power throughout the region. The Chinese government will relocate the current 35,000 residents to a new city built above the future waterline. The city will be further expanded to support a population of 200,000 in the year of 2020 and is expected to be a major resort center in this south central region of China. For more information about the Suijiang Newtown, please visit the website of http://www.suijiang-government.com.

The agreement requires IBT to make an investment of about 20 million Chinese RMB in the plant and its operations. IBT management believes these funds will come from private investors and that the revenue from the sales of production will be adequate to repay this investment. The Chinese government will provide the land and the infrastructure to support the plant, as well as provide support in developing the labor force and compliance with government regulations, laws and labor requirements. The Company will also provide engineering and technical support to the government's contractors and builders.
