Ich möchte heute noch mal auf das Thema „Ethanol“ zurückkommen. An den Börsen könnte dieses Thema 2007 zu einem DER Themen werden, und ich als Rohstoff-Bulle möchte mir nicht von Ihnen vorwerfen lassen, ich hätte Sie da nicht rechtzeitig drauf hingewiesen.

Zunächst mal zu den entscheidenden Vorteilen von Ethanol als Treibstoff:

Neben der Fungibilität (bis zu einem gewissen Prozentsatz kann Ethanol problemlos Benzin beigemischt werden), der Umweltfreundlichkeit (erheblich geringere Emissionen) sowie der strategischen Bedeutung immer autarkerer Energiesysteme ist auch die technische Seite recht problemlos. Anders als bei anderen immer wieder hochgespülten Spritalternativen wie Wasserstoff oder Brennstoffzellen ergeben sich keinerlei Veränderungen des Fahrens. Es gibt wohl keine Leistungseinbußen bei den Autos, zudem sind zur Verbrennung des schon agressiveren Kraftstoffs Ethanol lediglich stabilere Ventile und Dichtungen in den Motoren notwendig. Die Eintrittsbarrieren für Ethanol in den konventionellen KFZ-Markt sind damit sehr niedrig.

Und nun zur Verbindung mit China. Jeden Tag kommen in China rund 8.000 neue Autos auf die Straßen (Dank an meinen geschätzten Kollegen Daniel Wilhelmi für das Recherchieren dieser Zahl). 8.000 neue Autos pro Tag….und China ist schon jetzt weltweit die Nummer 2 beim Erdölverbrauch. Die Ölförderung im eigenen Land reicht längst nicht mehr aus, den chinesischen Bedarf zu decken.

China importiert schon jetzt fleißig Erdöl, von Indonesien bis Sudan, und der Importbedarf steigt mit jedem zusätzlichen Auto auf Chinas Straßen.

Da die chinesische Führung auf mich einen wirtschaftspolitisch sehr vernünftigen Eindruck macht, könnte Sie auf Ethanol setzen und damit mehrere Fliegen mit einer Klappe schlagen.

Denn so würde die Abhängigkeit von Erdöl-Importen verringert, und außerdem könnte die erhebliche Umweltverschmutzung in den Städten der chinesischen Ostküste verringert werden. Das ist ein Problem, welches die chinesische Führung durchaus erkannt hat, es wird in der offiziellen chinesischen Nachrichtenagentur durchaus thematisiert.

Signale, die dafür sprechen: In einigen chinesischen Städten/Bezirken ist bereits eine Ethanol-Beimischungspflicht erlassen worden. Offensichtlich ist das problemlos angelaufen. Warum auch nicht? Die Autofahrer merken es ja überhaupt nicht, wenn sie ein Ethanol-Benzin-Gemisch tanken. Für sie ändert sich nichts.

Ein ordentliches Potenzial, 8.000 neue Autos pro Jahr auf Chinas Straßen. Die Aussicht auf eine landesweite Beimischung von Ethanol. Die Aussicht darauf, dass Hunderte Ethanol-Fabrikationsanlagen gebaut werden. Es gibt Profiteure dieser Entwicklung. Einzelne Ethanol-Unternehmen, die die Anlagen liefern. (Konkrete Namen darf ich hier – Sie wissen es – leider nicht nennen.) Basiswerte wie Zucker und Mais, denn aus denen lässt sich Ethanol herstellen. Und die Nachfrage wird steigen! Nicht nur in China: Auch in einzelnen US-Bundesstaaten sind Beimischungspflichten erlassen worden, und im November hat auch der deutsche Bundestag eine entsprechende Beimischungspflicht abgesegnet.

Ein 1a Boom-Markt, Ethanol.

In den USA nennt man das laut Weber "stupid german money". Weber warnt: "Vollkommen wertlose Aktien werden von Vertriebsmannschaften in Boards und Foren regelrecht hoch gepuscht. Das ist eine gut verzahnte, in sich organisierte Industrie."
