      Hello Steve Harmon,
Based on your recommendation in 10 for 2000 I bought PCNTF. Your recommendation made sense to me. However, now I am in the red substantially and thinking of selling. Or is there hope? Thanks. Christine

Harmon: Two of my selections for 2000 were based on them having deep pockets behind them: PacNet (PCNTF) and Terra (TRRA), based on my expectation that a correction could hit the Internet sector (which it has). PCNTF has a key place as Asian Internet infrastructure play.

PacNet has the Singapore government behind it through several subsidiaries and I think could become a much more major ISP and ASP in Asia.

Keep in mind that years ago PSINet (PSIX) went through similar processes and now finally is where I expected it to be. Infrastructure assets to me are core to build off of.

      Hello Steve!
I want to invest my small savings (DM 2500) in stocks. What would you recommend for a small time investor? Would you buy T-Online? What do you think of CyberCash? Thanks for your effort.

      Best regards,
      T. Metzger

Harmon: Germany`s huge offering of ISP T-Online could rival that of Terra Networks (TRRA) in some ways, and the subscriber base percentage of German-speaking households is large. You mention CyberCash (CYCH). Of the two T-Online I believe represents a better long-term hold.

      Dear Mr. Harmon,
What do you think of IIJI for the next 12 months?
      Thanks,
      Marco Knaup

Harmon: Internet Initiative Japan (IIJI) offers dedicated and dial-up access in Japan and has been a long-time player in this market. At $3 billion market cap and $173 million revenue and $42 million loss, with about $76 million working capital I think IIJI could use a lot more cash to grow the company. Infrastructure is expensive. They need at least $250 million is e:harmon zero gravity`s view to grow the network.

      Hello Steve,

What would you do with SCOC?
      Thanks and regards,

Harmon: The core value in my mind has always been its UNIX and open source technology expertise and installed customer base that`s generated substantial revenue. I would leverage up the technology into complete open source. The real value to me of SCOC from day 1 was as a takeover for a larger Linux firm that needs revenue and network OS tech geeks.

What do you think of RAZF and its new management Team?
      Thanks.
      Thorsten

Harmon: Razorfish is making some good moves but I prefer US Interactive (USIT) who we just hired to do our new website after talking with ALL the other Web shops. See http://www.e-harmon.com and let us know what you think!

      Dear Mr. Harmon,
I have stock in PCNTF, ICGE, and SFE. How do you think these three will do going forward?
      Thanks in advance.

Harmon: I have tremendous respect for Safeguard Scientific (SFE) for incubating when it wasn`t a cliché as it now is. Pacific Internet (PCNTF) to me represents a core Asia Internet stock in the infrastructure space, a foundation layer. ICGE has a good advisory board ad has lately made some smart moves in incubators.

      Hello Steve,
What do you think of the Israeli Formula Systems?
      Thanks in advance.
      Best regards,
      Dirk

Harmon: At 3,200 employees the sales and income seem small. Formula Systems (FORTY) does IT services and some software. It also has a venture unit that`s made a few investments and probably why the stock ran recently. Obviously I like the venture unit but wonder if 3,200 people is too large a company overall without having more digital assets.

      Hello Steve,
What do you think of Emulex? Also, do you like Exodus, Broadvision, Infospace, Softbank, Ariba, and Geoworks? I`m looking at a 6-month time frame.

      Best regards,
      Stefan

Harmon: 6 months is a flea year, we always look at 1 to 5 years and longer if possible. Emulex (EMLX) fibre channel is hitting strong sales and growth. Latest results show 26 week revenue at $62.5 million and $15.6 million income. AT $3.9 billion market cap it seems a little frothy however.

Exodus, Broadvision, Infospace, Softbank, Ariba and Geoworks are all companies I like at different prices. Right now only Softbank and Geoworks seem attractive to me at these levels.

      Hello Steve,
Can you say anything about sino-i.com after your recent trip to Asia? What do you think of their business model and equity portfolio? Also can say anything about Founder?

      Thanks!

      Hello Steve,
TRRA and NETP have both fallen fast and far. What are the reasons? Is this just a correction? How do you view the future for these two?

      Thanks.
      HB

Harmon: Terra to me represents a Latin Yahoo while Net Perceptions (NETP) in my opinion has personal marketing solutions that make it a key piece that a larger ecommerce firm ought to own. Look at its customer list. I think somebody like Kana or eGain should acquire it.
