1. Previous drilling on the Skarn Target returned two intervals, one of 92 metres grading 0.72 g/t gold, 6.49 g/t silver, 0.29% copper and 0.92% zinc
2. 100 metres grading 0.22 g/t gold, 4.67 g/t silver, 0.41% copper and 0.21% zinc
3. 376 metres grading 0.56 g/t gold, 16.21 g/t silver and 0.43% copper
1. Grab samples taken within the Skarn Zone assayed 31.16%, 12.02%, 29.06% and 16.58% zinc
2. A grab sample of massive galena assayed 14.24 g/t gold, 256.0 g/t silver, 0.92% copper and 15.44% lead
Weitere Background Information:
Unzen Resourcen (!) partizipieren!

Sinchao samples 14.27% Zn at Sinchao property
2007-01-09 09:52 ET - News Release
Mr. Andrew Gourlay reports
SINCHAO METALS CORP. EXPANDS HIGH GRADE ZINC DISCOVERY ON THE SINCHAO PROPERTY, PERU
Sinchao Metals Corp. has received the results of recent surface sampling of the skarn zone at the Sinchao property. The sampling has significantly expanded the area of mineralization. Grab samples of massive sphalerite, galena and pyrite were collected from float, outcrop and dumps from old workings, hosted by skarn and altered limestone.
A total of 64 samples of skarn mineralization returned average values of 14.27 per cent zinc, 2.40 per cent lead, 1.87 grams per tonne gold, 85.04 g/t silver and 1.40 per cent copper.
The samples were collected along a northwest-southeast-trending skarn zone over a strike length of approximately 1,500 metres, which remains open in both directions. The high-grade mineralization is associated with a chargeability anomaly that extends approximately 500 m to the northwest of the area sampled.
The skarn zone was developed by the intrusion of Tertiary-aged San Miguel diorite into Cretaceous-aged limestone. This limestone is the same age as the limestone that hosts the Antamina zinc-copper skarn deposit, located approximately 250 kilometres to the southeast.
This significant discovery confirms that the Sinchao property has the potential to host large-tonnage, high-grade zinc mineralization. The high-grade mineralization within the skarn zone will be followed up with additional surface sampling and drill testing. The skarn zone is one of four distinct mineralized systems recognized on the Sinchao property.
Andrew Gourlay, PGeol, president of Sinchao Metals, is the qualified person for the technical disclosure in this news release. All samples were prepared and analyzed by the CIMM Peru S.A. laboratory in Lima, Peru, an ISO-accredited laboratory. Standard reference materials, blanks and field duplicate samples were inserted prior to the shipment from site to monitor the quality control of analytical data.

Sinchao Metals, Andean to drill 5,000 m on Sinchao
2007-04-30 10:03 ET - News Release
Also News Release (C-AAG) Andean American Mining Corp
Mr. Andrew Gourlay of Sinchao reports
SINCHAO METALS AND ANDEAN AMERICAN MINING ANNOUNCE COMMENCEMENT OF DRILL PROGRAM
Sinchao Metals Corp. and Andean American Mining Corp. are starting new drilling activities at the Sinchao property in Peru on April 30, 2007. The 2007 exploration program will involve an initial 5,000-metre diamond drill program to further test the continuity and limits of the Breccia zone, and to test the High Grade Zinc in the Skarn Zone. In addition, further targets defined by the geophysical surveys will be drill tested and an estimation of inferred resources will be completed in late 2007.
Sinchao Metals was formed by Andean American Mining in 2006, in order to provide shareholders with the opportunity to participate in the exploration and development of the polymetallic Sinchao property.
Andean American Mining held the Sinchao property in Cajamarca province, northern Peru, since 1996. Initial geological mapping, surface sampling, induced polarization and magnetometer surveys were completed in 1996, followed by over 8,000 metres of drilling during 1997 and 1998. Results were very encouraging; however, metal prices were at all-time lows and exploration was halted. Since 1998, Andean American consolidated its land position and in 2005 acquired 21 hectares contiguous with the existing Sinchao property to complete its land acquisitions. Sinchao Metals now owns 100 per cent of the Sinchao property.
This exploration identified four mineralized systems on the Sinchao property: the Skarn zone, the Breccia zone, the high-sulphidation epithermal zone and the massive sulphide lenses. The Skarn zone and the Breccia zone each have the potential to host more than 500 million tonnes of mineralization.

These drill intersections have not been followed up.
In 2006, 3-D induced polarization and ground magnetic surveys, and detailed mapping and sampling were completed over the property. Sixty-four samples of massive sphalerite, galena and pyrite within the skarn mineralization returned average values of 14.27 per cent zinc, 2.40 per cent lead, 1.87 grams per tonne gold, 85.04 g/t silver and 1.40 per cent copper. The distribution of high-grade zinc and lead within the Skarn zone is not well understood and there is excellent potential for high-grade lead-zinc skarn mineralization on the Sinchao property.

Sinchao Metals Corp. has released the results of drill hole SDH 26, drilled on the Skarn zone, at the Sinchao property. Assays have been received for the interval from 124.00 metres to 188.10 metres. Drill hole SDH 26 intersected porphyritic intrusive, limestone, skarn and altered limestone. The skarn and altered limestone is cut by a well-mineralized structure.
Significant intersections are included in the table attached.
From To Interval Gold Silver Copper Zinc Lead
m m m g/t g/t % % %
136.45 172.45 32.00 0.30 11.12 0.78 0.29 0.05
inc. 146.80 157.05 10.25 0.81 26.39 2.34 0.60 0.09
The well-mineralized structure was intersected from 146.80 metres to 157.05 metres, for a total drill intersection of 10.25 metres. Additional drilling is required before a true width can be estimated. The mineralization consists of massive pyrite, with traces of chalcopyrite, bornite and galena. The pyrite is subhedral to euhedral crystals, and ranges in size from less than 0.5 millimetre to two millimetres. Drill hole SDH 26 was terminated at 188.10 metres in skarn and altered limestone containing 2 per cent to 3 per cent disseminated pyrite.
Continuing surface mapping, trenching and sampling have identified an additional four structures similar to the structure intersected in hole SDH 26. Four grab samples of massive pyrite collected from the waste dump of an old working returned average assay values of 2.61 grams per tonne gold, 488.25 grams per tonne silver, 0.65 per cent copper, 0.97 per cent zinc and 0.85 per cent lead. In the trenches all sulphides have been oxidized. These structures are hosted by skarn and altered limestone, and appear to be conduits for mineralizing fluids. The structures strike west-northwest, range in width from about 0.3 metre to approximately seven metres and have been traced along strike for at least 200 metres. The structures remain open along strike in both directions, under thin soil cover.
The Skarn zone was developed by the intrusion of Tertiary-aged San Miguel Diorite into Cretaceous-aged limestone. This limestone is the same age as the limestone that hosts the Antamina copper-zinc skarn deposit, located approximately 250 kilometres to the southeast. The Antamina Deposit is the largest known copper-zinc skarn in the world.
Sinchao Metals has been diligent in receiving all the necessary legal permissions from national and local governments to drill and mine the Sinchao property. The company has also, on its own initiative, commenced a remediation program which involves members of the local communities (see news issued in Stockwatch dated Aug. 4, 2006). This remediation program was developed to clean-up areas affected by previous companies' work on the property, not any work that had been done by Sinchao Metals. However, the region has lately been subject to demonstrations affecting all mining properties in the area. Drilling was suspended recently, when a small group of roving demonstrators from a local community damaged the drill rig, in clear violation of the law. This demonstration was not related to the recent miner's union strike and Sinchao Metals employees are not part of the union or the demonstration. The drill rig was removed from the Sinchao property for repairs while assurances were reached with civic, provincial and national authorities that the necessary police force will be available when drilling recommences. Drilling is scheduled to start again within the next 10 days and further drill results will be announced upon completion of assays.
This significant drill discovery confirms that the Sinchao property has the potential to host large-tonnage, high-grade copper mineralization in addition to the high-grade zinc mineralization identified at surface (see news issued in Stockwatch dated Jan. 9, 2007). The Skarn zone is one of four distinct mineralized systems recognized on the Sinchao property.
Andrew Gourlay, PGeo, president is the qualified person for the technical disclosure in this news release. All samples were prepared and analyzed by the CIMM Peru S.A. laboratory in Lima, Peru, an ISO-accredited laboratory. Standard reference materials, blanks and field duplicate samples were inserted prior to the shipment from site to monitor the quality control of analytical data.
