Majescor Options Uranium Rights at Lac Laparre in the Otish Mountains of Quebec to Santoy-Melkior Uranium Joint Venture
Monday February 19, 8:30 am ET
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 19, 2007) - Majescor Resources Inc. ("Majescor" (TSX VENTURE:MAJ - News) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to option up to a 66 2/3% interest in the uranium rights on its Lac Laparre property in the Otish Mountains of Quebec to a Uranium Joint Venture comprised of Santoy Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SAN - News) and its 50% partner Melkior Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:MKR - News). Majescor will retain exclusive rights for diamonds.
The Lac Laparre property consists of 317 map-designated cells ("CDCs" covering 14,741 hectares of ground prospective for uranium. The Santoy-Melkior joint venture ("JV" will be the initial operator of the project and will conduct an early spring lake sediment geochemical sampling program on the property.
The geological setting of the Lac Laparre property is analogous to Strateco Resources Inc.' (TSX VENTURE:RSC - News) Matoush Property, to the southwest, where one of the best reported drill intersections to date has been 2.1% U3O8 over a core length of 12.4 metres (Strateco news release dated Dec. 21, 2006). The Lac Laparre property is located 16 kilometres to the northeast and is on trend with Santoy-Melkior's recently acquired Marc-Andre uranium occurrence (Santoy news release of January 29, 2007).
Andre Audet, Chairman of Majescor states: "The Lac Laparre uranium option agreement with the Santoy-Melkior Uranium JV further augments Majescor's exposure to uranium. In addition to Lac Laparre, Majescor's uranium assets in Quebec include a significant land position in the emerging Ungava region with JV partner Azimut Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AZM - News; see Majescor press release dated January 31, 2007), and an untested uranium showing in drill core grading 0.20% U3O8 over 4.50 metres discovered in 2004 on our Mistassini property in partnership with Superior Diamonds Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SUP - News). Majescor also holds 3 million shares of Uranium World Energy, a private company, soon to be public, which has an 80% interest in De Beers Canada Exploration Inc.' Baker Lake uranium project in the Thelon Basin area of Nunavut. Furthermore, as part of this latest agreement, Majescor will also receive 200,000 shares of Melkior and 60,000 shares of Santoy. Majescor's growing portfolio of uranium company shares has the potential to significantly enhance shareholder value."
The terms of the Option Agreement, which is subject to regulatory approval, call for an exploration work commitment of $2.5 million over five years (with a guaranteed minimum of $300,000 in year one), an up-front cash payment of $50,000, the issuance of 200,000 shares of Melkior and 60,000 shares of Santoy in tranches over a one year period, and the reservation of a 1.5% Net Smelter Return royalty interest, one half of which is purchasable at any time prior to commercial production for $1 million.
This press release was prepared by Marc-Andre Bernier, P. Geo., President & CEO of Majescor, who acts as the qualified person under NI 43-101.
Majescor Resources is an aggressive and well-funded exploration company with the largest portfolio of diamond properties in Quebec, as well as projects in Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Madagascar. Majescor has also expanded its property portfolio to include new gold and base metal properties (Quebec and Madagascar) and new uranium properties (Quebec).
The TSX Venture Exchange (TSX Venture) does not accept responsibility for adequacy or accuracy of this release.

SK=0,355CAD ( 0,355-0,365CAD ) , -5,3%.

Majescor Acquires 100% of the Uranium Rights at Mistassini in the Otish Mountains, Quebec; Stakes Additional 21,000 Hectares Around its Lac Mantouchiche Uranium Showing
Monday March 5, 8:30 am ET
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 5, 2007) - Majescor Resources Inc. ("Majescor") (TSX VENTURE:MAJ - News) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with its joint-venture partner Superior Diamonds Inc. ("Superior Diamonds") to acquire 100% of the uranium rights on the Mistassini property located in the Otish Mountains district of Quebec. Superior Diamonds will retain 100% of the diamonds rights on the property.
Subsequent to this agreement, the joint venture partners have moved to significantly augment their land holdings for uranium by staking an additional 21,000 hectares of ground around the Mistassini property. The Mistassini property is host to the Lac Mantouchiche uranium showing, an uranium occurrence in drill core grading 0.20% U3O8 over 4.50 metres discovered by Majescor and Superior in 2002 (Core Drill Hole MISF-02-08). The uranium occurrence in drill core has never been followed up on.
Majescor's Chairman, Andre Audet states: "To the best of our knowledge, our Mistassini property uranium showing is one of the most significant recent uranium intersections in drill core in the Otish Mountains outside of Strateco's Matoush property, where one of the best reported drill intersections to date has been 2.13% U3O8 over a core length of 15.2 metres (Strateco news release dated February 20, 2007). Majescor, through its extensive exploration experience in northern Quebec, its strategic land positioning, its established network of collaborators from both regional government and industry, and its recent option agreement with the Santoy-Melkior uranium Joint Venture at Lac Laparre is well positioned to capitalize on the unprecedented level of uranium interest in the Otish Mountains district. Uranium continues to be a sought-after commodity as is reflected by its current price of $US85 per pound U3O8, already an 18 % increase over its record 2006 closing price of $US72. International uranium supplies are limited and new deposits must be found to meet future world demand."
The terms of the Agreement, which is subject to regulatory approval, stipulate that in exchange for providing 100% rights for uranium to Majescor, Superior Diamonds will retain 100% diamonds rights and a 2% Yellow Cake Royalty for uranium. Majescor retains a 2% royalty for diamonds.
This press release was prepared by Marc-Andre Bernier, P. Geo., President & CEO of Majescor, who acts as the qualified person under NI 43-101.

Majescor Pfui ! SK = 0,30CAD , -6%.

Bald wieder News ???

Marc-Andre Bernier, President and CEO of Majescor states: "The broader Besakoa property shows good potential for additional VMS-type discoveries. New surface geochemical data recently obtained by Majescor show at least 3 other targets within property limits with signatures very similar to the Main Besakoa prospect. At least one of these targets has a corresponding sulphide-bearing gossan extending over 200m in length. We are at the earliest stages of exploration at Besakoa, and the next phase of targeted exploration work could lead to the identification of one or more significant polymetallic resources near surface, or the discovery of high grade lenses at depth".
This drilling program was designed to confirm the historical drill data and to test the disseminated sulphide halo around the main sulphide lens, as well as the overlying surface oxide zone, both of which were not fully investigated for gold and base metals by previous drilling. The drilling was conducted to shallow depths (maximum 78 m), with three vertical holes, and 5 at -50 degrees. All holes positioned over a 380m strike-length section of the Main Besakoa prospect intersected polymetallic mineralization. The results from the first 3 core holes, which tested an 80 m section of the Besakoa prospect, returned a 21.5 m intersection grading 0.7% Copper, 0.5 g/t Gold, 1.1% Zinc and 21.4 g/t Silver (see Majescor Press Release dated February 8, 2007). The results from the final 5 holes are outlined in the table and are available together with a location map on Majescor's website at www.majescor.com.
All core samples, included duplicates and blanks (minimum 10%), were submitted to ALS-Chemex laboratories in Johannesburg, South Africa where they were assayed for precious and base metals using ICP-AES. Samples with greater than 10,000 ppm copper or zinc or greater than 10 ppm silver where reanalyzed using an ore-grade AAS or ICP procedure with an aqua regia leach.

Majescor's 2007 exploration plans for the Besakoa property include: additional drilling to extend known mineralized zones at depth and along strike, and to test other gossan occurrences; a deep-penetrating airborne electromagnetic and magnetic survey; systematic stream sediment and soil sampling; ground mapping; and prospecting.
Majescor's portfolio of gold and base metal properties in Madagascar includes, in addition to the Besakoa polymetallic prospect: the Daraina property in North Madagascar, where initial surface sampling in August 2006 returned grades of up to 87 g/t gold and 75 g/t silver; the Analalava property, which is host to a series of untested historical Ni-Cu showings, and is completely surrounded by BHP-Billiton claims; and the Ankaramy property which shows potential for both SEDEX-type (Pb-Zn) and epithermal gold-silver.
This press release was approved by Pascal Marchand, Senior Geologist, acting as the "Qualified Person" for the Company under National Instrument 43-101.
Majescor Resources is a dynamic and well funded exploration company with a large portfolio of uranium, gold and base metal, and diamond properties in Quebec, as well as diamond projects in the Northwest Territories and in Nunavut.
