Atomredmetzoloto JSC ("ARMZ") today announced its intention to make an all-cash offer (the "Offer") of C$0.65 per share for all outstanding common shares of Khan Resources Inc. ("Khan") (TSX:KRI), a uranium exploration and development company based in Toronto, Ontario.

The Offer represents a premium of 48% over the closing price of the common shares Khan (the "Khan Shares") on the TSX on November 26, 2009, the last trading day prior to this announcement by ARMZ of its intention to make the Offer, and a 103% premium over the volume weighted average price of the Khan Shares over the twenty-day trading period ended November 26, 2009.

The Offer will be subject to conditions that are customary for a transaction of this nature. The full details of the Offer, including the conditions to the Offer, will be included in the take-over bid circular and related documentation to be filed on SEDAR and mailed to Khan's security holders shortly after the shareholder list is received from Khan.

Falklands duo in hunt for drill cash

Explorers Borders & Southern Petroleum and Falkland Oil & Gas are set to boost their coffers via share sales, with the cash earmarked for drilling work off the Falkland Islands.

Borders & Southern, which focuses on exploration in the South Falklands basin, said it plans to raise £113.1 million ($187.3 million) by placing 234.2 million shares at 50 pence apiece.

The offer represents a discount of 9% to the stock's Wednesday close of 55 pence.


Falkland Oil & Gas, which focuses on south and east of the Falkland Islands, plans to raise €50 million by placing about 43.5 million shares at 115 pence apiece, a discount of 15% to the stock's prior close.

Falkland hopes the offering will pay for its planned driling programme in full, adding the work could start as early as the first half of next year.

Wer generell interessante Sachen suchen sollte -im HC hat jemand vor einiger Zeit einen Thread aufgemacht unter dem Titel "multibagger stocks - which ones?". Klar kommt dabei einiges an Mist bei rum, aber da sind auch haufenweise wirklich interessanter Sachen dabei. Könnte eventl. schwer zu finden sein -glaube unter "ASX - General". Vermute mal das funktioniert so nicht, aber das wäre der Link:
