Moin, moin,
mal etwas Neues:
(FTD S. 3)
Gruß

Hallo @all,
hier kommt noch etwas Lesestoff:
23-02-2010 17:17 Two North Sea Forties Crude Cargoes Back In Program -Traders
LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Two of the four Forties crude-oil cargoes that were dropped from loading programs following reduced output at Nexen Inc.'s (NXY) Buzzard oil field in the U.K. North Sea have been reinstated, traders of North Sea crude said Tuesday.
Last week, traders said four Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSB) equity cargoes set to load Feb. 26-28, March 6-8, March 12-14, and March 16-18, had been dropped following reduced production at Buzzard. However, three traders said Tuesday that two of the cargoes had now been reintroduced.
Shell and Canada-based energy company Nexen weren't immediately available to comment.
Nexen said Thursday Buzzard's output had been lowered to between 30,000 and 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day after it discovered an item on the platform needing repair.
During the company's fourth-quarter results, it said Buzzard output was expected to remain at reduced rates for at least 10 days. However, traders said Tuesday the reintroduction of the two cargoes for late February to March indicate the field might return to normal output faster than expected.

23-02-2010 11:51 DJ Shell Has No Plans To Pull Out Of Nigeria - Company Executive
ABUJA, Nigeria (Dow Jones)--Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA) has no plans to leave Nigeria and rumors to the contrary are "totally false," a Shell executive said Tuesday.
"We're here to stay," Shell vice president for sub-Saharan Africa, Ann Pickard, said during an industry conference. "We have no plans to pull out."
Pickard said she was worried about Nigeria's future, however, since oil production had diminished every year since 2005 and investment in the industry, particularly in important and costly deepwater projects, had stalled.
"In 2009 alone, the industry invested $8 billion in Angolan deepwater--double the amount invested [in Nigeria]," Pickard said.
Pickard said that Nigeria's pending oil industry bill "threatens to make a bad situation worse" if passed in its current form and it will "take years to correct its mistakes."
