Zu Lenovo:Es sieht doch so aus wie überall.Firmen haben ein paar Stücke gekauft,das schon letztes Quartal.Die werden wohl auch nicht schneller testen als die Europäer.
VW hatte selbst die Einführung der Datenbrille im diesem Frühjahr bekannt gegeben,Ruhe ist.

Lenovo, as everybody knows, it’s a great partner for Vuzix. They have been shipping our M100 smart glasses now for just about six or seven months. So in a comparison they are quite a bit behind Vuzix where we are at, but they are getting there. Their focus is been on enterprise customers. They are making progress, but as is the case for this market, it takes time.

At this point, we have not received follow-on orders for the M100 and we are currently in discussions with them about our next-generation smart glasses, both for enterprise and consumer. We are also discussing broadening the geographic regions of the relationship. They are interested also in our iWear product today and then frankly, we are looking forward to the continuation of the relationship and how we can develop further alongside the largest computer manufacturer in the world.

wer glaubt, dass 20 mio cash alles sicher machen, der sollte dies kritisch hinterfragen.
vuzix geht aktuell richtig in die vorleistungsphase, um produkte an den markt zu bringen.
in q3 sollte der burn faktor eher ansteigen ohne das einnahmen auf der anderen seite stehen.
nehmen wir mal q4 mit ersten zarten umsätzen sollte das thema akut bleiben.
break even aus meiner sicht frühestens mitte 2016. wer sagt überhaupt, dass die mit den produkten und preisen geld verdienen.

20 mio cash ist vor diesem hintergrund nicht viel geld. das thema geld scheint überhaupt ein thema für travers zu sein. ein unglückliches börsenlisting, dämliche warrents und jetzt ein goliath im nacken. das ist definitiv nicht sein thema. eher technikaffin und beratungsresistent. der hätte, wie alle anderen auch sich VCs suchen sollem mit 100 bis 250 mio. comitment. Dann hätte er wohl sich in die suppe spucken lassen müssen und eigenständigkeit scheint ein hohes gut für travers zu sein. vielleicht ist es einfach nur sturheit.

ich bin ja nun draußen und die frage war und ist nicht, ob der kurs bei 2 oder 20 euro steht. Wenn ich 12 monate zurück schaue, dann hat vuzix einfach nur viel vertrauen verspielt und der markt scheint es ähnlich zu sehen. ob ich jemals wieder einsteige, da habe ich meine zweifel, unabhängig von der weiteren kursentwicklung. da gäbe es auch nur eine grund. marktreife produkte und ein vorhandener markt. und wenn ich ehrlich bin am besten ohne travers. der wird überschätzt!

SAP continues to support Vuzix’s M100 smart glasses and as you all know, they have two applications currently available with four companies doing working pilots around them and two that are going live in September finally.


That said, their internal sales have yet to engage with these new offerings which has been frustrating for Vuzix. We love SAP. I am not trying to throw them under the bus there, it’s just the nature of these big companies. As we get many SAP customers coming to us, looking to employ the M100 it’s frustrating that they are not going quicker, but it’s, I guess the nature of the beast. We expect they will be efficient in announcing these two new production rollouts in mid-fall and they’ve started a more progressive sales activity including marketing collaterals and sales tools before the end of this year. So they are selling, they are being successful in places they have customers that really like the products. They are just not being aggressive about it yet. Now a knock on where that’s coming. There is a lot of other activity clearly besides these two companies going on around Vuzix’s products and our smart glasses.
