The importance of this may escape you for a moment, but as Wallit's press release suggests, imagine the kind of social interactions that could occur on the Super Wall for a football game, or perhaps rival basketball games during March Madness. Fans can "move the real-time 'smack-talk' to the virtual walls in arenas," Wallit suggests, adding a very social, location-based twist to the sort of banter that sometimes happens on Twitter or Facebook. But by encapsulating this simple use case in a stand-alone app Wallit is, again like Instagram, delivering an experience that's set apart from the usual flurry of different and distracting status updates on Facebook. It's also maybe more social than systems like Latitude and Find My Friends because it requires no log-in, has richer information to share, and may be much more spontaneous.

Who knows if it'll become a huge success, but there's a germ of a clever idea in here that could tap into the zeitgeist.

And there's also something else important going on. Wallit's all about leaving a virtual, social tag somewhere in the same way you'd sign a hotel guest book, or the little logbook found at the top of some mountain peaks. But it's digital, and thus each logbook can be interconnected. Which means the social experience of being in one place on the planet is blurred by the augmented reality aspect of the technology. Imagine sitting in downtown Boston, but your social encounter is actually being fueled by what's going on in Paris. That's a bit of a brain-twister...and because the app is on a small smartphone screen you'll really have to use your imagination to feel this telepresence-like sensation. But one day AR won't be on a handheld screen, if firms like Vuzix, Google, and perhaps Microsoft have their way--it'll be goggle-based, and thus much more immersive. Social sharing is going to get very interesting.

zu der aktuellen stückzahl kann ich nichts sagen ...


was mir jedoch gut gefällt ist, dass in der letzten zeit keine 8k veröffentlicht wurden, die eine zunahme der bereits vorhandenen shares dokumentieren ...
-->> keine ( weitere ) dilution ( zumindest nicht seid ich investiert bin ) ... ist doch schon mal was ...

die zukunftsaussichten von vuzix sind phänomenal ... da gebe ich dir gern recht

leider werden so kleine feine companys, gerade wenn sie gut aufgestellt sind, nun mal gern geschluckt ...
der vorteil für uns aktionäre dürfte aber m.e. offensichtlich sein ... der lange und steinige weg zum erfolg muss nicht begleitet werden und so ein wiederum "kleiner" feiner kurssprung kann uns eigentlich jeden tag überraschen .... ... die gerüchteküche summt hier ja schon ( siehe artikel vom aktionär )


dass der aktuelle kurs den wert des unternehmens nicht wieder spiegelt ist m.e. auch klar ... -->> ich rechne im fall der fälle mit fettem aufgeld .... ob das dann wiederum kommuniziert werden darf steht auf einem anderen blatt ... meist wird ja stillschweigen vereinbart

es bleibt spannend. ich gehe davon aus, dass wir schon auf der ziel geraden eingebogen sind ... vielleicht ist es aber auch nur wunschdenken we will see ...

9,245 Millionen Umsatz in den ersten 3 Quartalen 2011 sind für ein Unternehmen, dass einen Marktwert von 14,25 Millionen hat, ein gutes Ergebnis. Mal Abwarten wie das 4. Quartal gelaufen ist.

Danke Dir. Ich war auf der Internetseite und mich hat das Portfolio sehr angesprochen. Wenn, dann finde ich die Zukunftsaussichten in diesem Wert enorm. Aber natürlich könnte man auch auf Übernahme spekulieren. Was ich nur nicht verstehe, warum ist denn dieser Wert ein ausgesprochener Pennystock... die hätten doch einfach weniger Aktien rausgeben können, um in den Eurobereich zu rutschen... dies stimmt mich nachdenklich. Es ist ja als Pennystock alles andere als leicht, Aufmerksamkeit von den Großen zu bekommen. iLZ

Paul Travers, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We were pleased with our overall performance year to date in 2011. We realized revenue growth in our defense products and engineering services areas and narrowed our operating losses in both the quarterly and semi-annual periods against the prior year. And while our business continues to be working capital constrained we continue to execute against our operating plan and deliver products that are critical to our customers. We currently have a $2.9M backlog, primarily for our defense products and ongoing engineering services programs. Among the key drivers of our expected continued growth is our line of Tac-Eye rugged display systems which continues to gain program wins in the defense markets with sales up 71.9% thus far in 2011 and sales of our Augmented Reality products."

Financial Results

The following financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2011, compared to the same periods in 2010.

Sales were $2,843,288 for the Third Quarter ending September 30, 2011 compared to $2,725,739 for the same nine month period last year, an increase of 4.3%. Revenues for the first nine months of 2011 were $9,245,045 versus $6,703,058 for the same period last year, an increase of 37.9%.
Gross Profits were $1,083,029 for the Third Quarter of 2011, compared to $780,709 for the Third Quarter of 2010, an increase of 38.7%. For the nine months ended September 30, 2011 Gross Margins were $3,857,091 versus $1,733,219 for the same nine month period in 2010, a 122% increase. The improvement was primarily attributable to defense products being a larger percentage of our overall sales and the margins we are currently earning on our Augmented Reality products.
Operating Expenses were $1,700,453 for the Third Quarter of 2011, compared to $1,843,308 for the Third Quarter of 2010, a decrease of 7.7%. Operating costs were $5,226,036 for the nine months ended September 30, 2011 versus $5,492,588 for the same nine month period in 2010, a 4.9% decrease.
Net (Loss) and (Loss per share) for the Third Quarter of 2011 was $(920,553) or $(0.0035) per share versus a loss of $(1,186,965), or $(0.0045) per share in the same period in 2010, an improvement of 22.4%. For the nine-month period ending September 30, 2011 the Company reported a loss of $(2,268,398) or $(0.0086) per share versus a loss of $(4,081,048) or $(0.0155) per share in the same period in 2010, an improvement of 44.4%

iSee have agreed to partner with “Vuzix” the world leader in video eye wear at The Gadget Show Live in April this year. http://www.gadgetshowlive.net/

iSee will be developing the content for several of the demo areas on the exhibition stand.

Our main focus will be on creating content for the Vuzix Star and 920AR products.

I think the show is sold out so that 120,000 possible hits on our content.
