Short summary of yesterdays presentation
Morning All,
The most important news was that they've made something of a breaktrough when it comes to drilling technique. They've identifed clay type smectite as the villain. When dipped in water it grows 5x in size in 5 minutes. Not in oil. They're now using vegetable oil as mud. Twiga-2 was first one and drill speed was as high as 270m/d (peak). Keith said, expect realistically 5-7 more wells in 2014 due to this. 25-27 rather than 20 that is. In theory 10 more but in practice 5-7 more. Moreover, water clogs permeability so possibly higher flows when using synth oil going forward.
Emong cost was as low as $15m. Rig now moving to Ekunyuk.
GoK wanted them to bundle announcements, expect Emong, Etuko-2, Twiga-2, Ekales all announced in one release.
Flank Play probably more oil in place than string of pearls. But lower recovery rate.
Dyepa first well in South Kerio
Shimela spud next week. Shimela looking more and more like Ngamia/Twiga

STOCKHOLM ( AFX) Africa Oil's CEO Keith Hills presentation on Thursday evening in Stockholm strengthen Nordea's positive outlook and strong buy recommendation on the oil company .
The Bank writes in a comment to the presentation that Keith Hill gave at Berns in Stockholm on Thursday evening , where he gave updates about the company's drilling plans in Africa.
" The outlook he presented supports our strong positive ( ' bullish ' ) view of the share and the huge upside ," writes the bank.
Among the main lessons from the presentation list Nordea:
* Multiple drilling results teaches presented in about two weeks. There is , for example, test results from Ekales , evaluation results from the Twiga South and possibly exploration results from Emong in Lokicharbassängen and from Sasa in Anzabassängen .
* An updated resource report from Gaffney, Cline and Associates are expected in early May.
* A infarmningsaffär in Somalia through the 45- percent owned Horn Petroleum seems to be imminent.
* More oil discovery in Lokicharbassängen than they have so far made seven discoveries are likely. Keith Hill expressed great confidence that , "to put it mildly ," Nordea writes.
* The company is expected to drill 20 wells in 2014.
* Oil production is expected at the time of 4-5 years .
Nordea strongly recommend the purchase of Nordea , with a target price of SEK 85 in an analysis dated March 11.

Die Präsi von KH finde ich noch nicht, ich hoffe auf einen Upload durch User Stock Brain.

It was said of it that are not in the presentation or the previously mentioned here is
1) Promotion to the Large Cap gets 4-6 rows after corresponding relocation has taken place in Canada, where advancement occurs in late March / early April
2 ) 3rd party evaluation of reserves is expected in May
3) The Government of Kenya has asked TLW o AOI to have updates every 6th - 8th week and then merge what has happened , it is apparently difficult to explain if it is too often
4) AOI is fully financed to Q2 Q3 2015
5 ) The different figures in TLW o AOI 's presentations depends on the recovery rate and to some extent on how conservative you count , size distribution , etc. is they agree

Gut, die Börse in Schweden hat dann geschlossen, Kanada ist aber noch aktiv...
Auf Stockhouse gibt es rumours, dass Emong (ehemals Ngamia-West) bereits gedrillt ist und das Rig schon wieder mobilisiert wurde. Zeitlich könnte das durchaus drin sein (Start am 05. Feb., abgekündigte Dauer etwa 40 Tage).
Laut dem letzten Operational Update könnte Sala nun etwa 4 Wochen unterwegs sein. Twiga South-2 könnte ebenso 4 Wochen und damit bereits im Abschluss sein. Die flachere 650m-Folgebohrung von Etuko könnte auch weit sein.
Nun ja, alles Spekulation. Hoffentlich wissen wir heute Abend mehr, fingers crossed.
