Caldera auf Emissionspreis, wer jetzt nicht zuschlägt ist selber Schuld - 500 Beiträge pro Seite

Am 10.3.00 zu 9$ an die Börse gekommen notiert Caldera aktuell bei 9,7/16. Jetzt heißt es bei diesem reinrassigen Linuxwert zuzugreifen. Durch die schlechten Red Hat Zahlen und das schlechte Umfeld wurde der Wert seit der Emission nach unten geprügelt. Mit einer Marktkapitalisierung von 343 Mio$ bei erwarteten 14MIO$ Umsatz00 ist Caldera im peer group Vergleich gerade zu ein Schnäppchen. Der Linuxhype wird wieder einsetzen, in Zeiten wo Microsoft die Zerschlagung droht, und Caldera wird dann einer der Hauptgewinner sein. Um es mit Ozzy Urz´s Worten zu halten: Linux ist die Zukunft.

Wenn die Nasdaq wieder in Schuss kommt? Wann meinste wird das sein bei 2000 Punkte oder was im Moment würde ich auf jeden Fall noch die Füsse still halten aber Du bist ja bekannt für deine Optimistischen Prognosen.

Habe mir Caldera bei 11Euro ins Depot gelegt.Zwischenzeitlich war die Aktie sogar bei 17.6Euro.Verkaufe sie aber trotzdem nicht weil ich auf die alten Höchtstände von 28Euro warte.Ich bin mir sicher,dass die Aktie dies erreichen wird, da in den nächsten Monaten der Consumer-Markt erschlossen werden soll.Der Aktionär hat Caldera bei Kursen unter 35Euro als sehr interssant eingestuft!Hat eigentlich jemand Infos über den Börsengang von Suse? Würde mich über Infos freuen.

Bin per Zufall auf den neueren Anstieg nach dem großem Absturz der Caldera S. aufmerksam geworden.
Gibt es jetzt eine neue Chance oder ist das nur ein Anstieg der geschoben wird um die Aktie im Nasdaq zu halten, weil sonst das Aus droht wg. unter 1nem Dollar usw.
Gibt es doch News um diese gr. Umsätze zu erlären?

hallo weißenstein,

ich vermute, wir beide sind die einzigen, die caldera noch haben. Der Rest ist wohl im phantastischen Pushernirvana mit cladera abgestürzt. Ich habe mich auch gewundert, daß bei dem phänomenalen Anstieg dieses board noch wie ausgestorben ist. es scheint so zu sein. Übrigens habe ich noch nicht bemerkt, daß Firmen vor dem nasdaq Rausschmiß sich hochkaufen können. Wer aus der nasdaq fliegt, liegt am Boden im Überlebenskampf und hat für Kurspflege kein cash.

Ich habe bisher überall nachgekauft, um meine Durchschnitte zu senken, nur bei caldera nicht und das war wohl pech!

Red Hat Shares Rise After News of Deal to Support IBM Servers

AUSTIN, Texas -- Red Hat Inc. shares climbed Tuesday after the company announced an expansion of its relationship with International Business Machines Corp. to provide software and support for IBM servers that use the Linux operating system.

Red Hat Chief Financial Officer Kevin Thompson heralded the announcement as both a continuing endorsement of Red Hat and evidence of IBM`s (IBM) commitment to the Linux operating system.

"The relationship between IBM and Red Hat continues to strengthen," Mr. Thompson told Dow Jones Newswires. "There is a huge opportunity around this announcement," although he declined to put a monetary value on it.

The news sent shares of Red Hat (RHAT), a leading Linux distributor, to $7.35, up $1.34, or 22%, in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Volume was 7.5 million shares traded, compared with a daily average of 868,000.

It also lifted stocks of other Linux-related companies Tuesday. Caldera International Inc. (CALD) shares were up 35%, or 18 cents, to 70 cents, while VA Linux Systems Inc. (LNUX) shares were up 17%, or 42 cents, to $2.93.

Under the agreement, Red Hat will provide a base solution for IBM`s eServer product line that includes its Red Hat Linux operating system, as well as support and professional services, such as instructional CDs and manuals, telephone and Internet support, and customized engineering and configuration.

Red Hat already had an agreement with IBM for some other IBM product lines.
