Aves the only sense I can make out of it is they don't want anybody to know about it or their partner(s) don't want anyone to know about it, at least until the time is right.

I mean look they don't release news until they absolutely have to. there's tons of information they can put on their web site to advertise and update but they don't want to and you don't see much only what's requirred, especially since the partner has been brought unboard.

You know there must have been great things going on at that GSF conferance, but not a word. Think they'd be shouting the high heavens with what took place.

I think the silence thing and "lets not tell anyone anything more then we have to" started when we first heard about "the partners".

I think Atomic was hired only to get the word out to the big semi companies and the less publized the better.

I think they would like to hold back information and news as much as possible before the Pellegrino report is out. There is a reason why they need that report again.

There is no advantage of "spreading the word" for any partners involved and hence the partners want everything hush hush until all the leg work is done and all of POET's applications proven.

I would not be surprised if offers would be coming immediately after the Pellegrino report.

I think POET will be sold because they will be made an offer they can't refuse. They may want to partner with these big companies and see everything to fruition but like I said everyone has his price no matter what, even me. LOL Personally they can sell or they can lease I'll take whatever produces the biggest finanicial gain, long or short term.

I have also posted the following comment at that site:

It may be worthwhile to explore the potential offered by this company. POET Technologies (TSXV- PTK) they have achieved monolithic integration of both active and passive photonics and electronics on a single substrate using III-V. The work has been through US defense department SBIR grants (same start that QUALCOMM had) and they have basically been in stealth mode working at their UCONN lab and under joint development with BAE Systems. BAE has an interest in the military applications. They have had many successes and are now working with unnamed industry partners.

The key differentiator is that the inventor Dr. Geoff Taylor, UCONN Optoelectronic Professor and Chief Scientist for POET has designed this technology to be compatible with existing foundries. They have successfully transferred the POET Design Rules to BAEs Nashua III-V foundry and are having significant success. Currently they are reducing the electronics side of POET to 100nm at the request of their development partner(s) as a bolt on for silicon CMOs replacement. A new patent was just issued by POET which has not been publicly declared which reveals among other things the capability of POET to produce single electron transistors (quantum computing).

The optical thyristor has in addition to multispectral detection and lasing functions (why the US defense department has funded this technology) can be configured for memory. And can support SRAM, DRAM and NVRAM concurrently and allows for massive simplification at the system level due to the elimination of NVRAM backup/recovery. This memory claims much lower bit error rates than silicon based memories (several orders of
      magnitude).

They have not as yet named their main commercial partner or their POET Development Alliance Members who are assisting them in the preparation of Technical Development Kits.

I believe you will be hearing much more about this company in the very near future.

      Und noch was interessantes:

We wont know if he also had trades on the ATS until he files but half a Million dollars of buying in one day sounds pretty convincing that he wants to own as much of this company as he can.

Had to go to a card tournament this afternoon . Amazinger called the $1.02 and I tried to wait to get the low but had to go. Caved at $1.09 for fair i would miss the turn around when i was gone. Glad i bought at that ,only a couple thousand shares but all that i could raise the money for in that short time period. (besides i figure 2000 shares @ $70 bucks is $140,000 bucks right? Couldn't pass that up Ha,ha) Then when i got home expecting a little green couldn't believe my eyes at the close $1.30. ....Been preaching here all morning for no one to sell, not that it was needed because I don't think any of our friends here would sell anyway. You can see by today how this can swing and explode with little warning and no obvious reason.

Well you have'nt seen anything yet . Get ready for the ride of your life. Everybody and their dog will want a piece of POET.

Anyone thinking I'm pumping this stock? Well I don't really care.

I say it because I believe it. ;-)

      Oh, and thanks again Amazinger.

      @ Yolt

      @Laie3000
Bitte, bitte, wo siehst du den nächsten Halt:-))))

Das stimmt. Und ich Blödmann habe voll die Nerven verloren und zu knapp 72 Cent 60.000 Stück verkauft - 60.000 Stück! So etwas schmerzt.
