WidePoint erfolgen. Prognosen für den Kurs stelle ich keine,
die Aktie macht sowieso was Sie will ;-)

      -------------------------
ZMAX Corporation Reports First Quarter 2000 Revenues of $4 Million, a 33% Increase over First Quarter 1999 Non-Millennium Results

Company Anticipates Continued Penetration of New Business Lines

GERMANTOWN, Md. -- ZMAX Corporation (NASDAQ: ZMAX), a leading information technology company, today announced financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2000.

For the first quarter of 2000, total revenues were $4.0 million, a decrease of approximately $1.1 million, or 22%, as compared to total revenues of $5.1 million for the same period in 1999. However, revenues from non-millennium services increased 33%, from $3.0 million for the quarter ended March 31, 1999, to $4.0 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2000.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2000, no revenues were generated by millennium services as compared to $2.1 million, or 42%, of revenues from millennium services for the quarter ended March 31, 1999. The overall decrease in revenues during the first quarter of 2000 was partially offset by increased revenues from non-millennium services.

The net loss for the quarter ended March 31, 2000 was $1.9 million, or a net loss per share of $0.15, as compared to the net loss of approximately $0.2 million, or a net loss per share of $0.02, for the three months ended March 31, 1999. The net loss was primarily attributable to the consolidation of the Company`s separate business units and the cost associated with the shift away from millennium services.

"While we were somewhat disappointed by the results of this first quarter, we were very pleased by the substantial increase in non-millennium business," stated James T. McCubbin, ZMAX`s Chief Financial Officer. He continued, "During the first quarter, we laid the groundwork and planted the seeds of future growth that will start germinating during the second half."

      Other Events

In the first quarter of 2000, the Company entered into several valuable strategic alliances:

      - StreamServe, Inc. (news release dated March 23, 2000)
      - eXcelon Corporation (NASDAQ: EXLN) (news release dated
      March 2, 2000)
      - IBM (NYSE: IBM) (news release dated March 2, 2000)
      - BEA Systems (news release dated February 23, 2000)
      - Forsythe Solutions Group (news release dated January 6, 2000)

      Beyond the Second Quarter 2000

Michael C. Higgins, ZMAX`s President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We have been steadily migrating from our past concentration and success in millennium business to our current growth as an information technology consulting firm, focusing on e-value chain solutions. Although in general the IT marketplace was slow to react with new contracts in the first quarter of 2000, ZMAX grew 33% in non-millennium revenues. Our goal is to increase that growth to 50%. We plan to continue our investments into our three core practices that pertain to the Internet, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), and e-Technologies services. We anticipate that EBITDA profitability will take place during the second half of this year. While we are experiencing growing pains as we continue our expansion in IT services, we remain optimistic about our ability to successfully exploit the vast opportunities that exist in the e-business marketplace."

      Conference Call

The Company will host its First Quarter 2000 Conference Call at 4:00 p.m. EST on May 16, 2000. Investors in the U.S. can access the call by dialing 800-523-6109 several minutes prior to the start of the call, while international investors should call 847-413-2907.

A digital replay of the Conference Call will be available from 5:00 p.m. EST on May 16, 2000 until 5:00 p.m. EST on May 17, 2000. U.S. Investors can access the replay by calling 800-298-0807, and international investors should call 402-220-4795, The playback pass code is 2315261.

      Annual Shareholders Meeting

ZMAX also reminds its shareholders that its Annual Shareholders Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. local time, at the Company`s office located at 20251 Century Boulevard, Germantown, Maryland 20874 USA. The primary business of the meeting will be to elect directors, approve the proposed amendment to the Company`s Certificate of Incorporation to change the name of the Company to "WidePoint Corporation," and to ratify the selection of independent accountants.

Since the approval of the proposal to change the Company`s name to "WidePoint Corporation" will require the affirmative vote of a majority of all of the outstanding shares of the Company`s stock, rather than just a majority of the shares present in person or by proxy at the Annual Meeting, the Company strongly emphasizes to shareholders the importance of making sure their shares are voted at the Annual Meeting either in person or by returning the completed and signed Proxy Card to the Company.

      Hi,
Toll. Bid und Ask bei 0,75 bzw. 4 Dollar ist auch nicht vertrauenerweckend. Ich würde eher einen Lottoschein kaufen. Wer es dennoch nicht lassen kann:

Shareholders were asked to vote on three key proposals:

To elect one person as a Class III Director of the Company to
serve for a three-year period until the Annual Meeting of

      Stockholders in the year 2003.

To approve a proposed amendment to the Company`s Certificate
