Epanko Special Mining Licence

87% Increase in Strike Length of Graphite Unit

EcoGraf Limited (EcoGraf or the Company) (ASX: EGR; FSE: FMK; OTCQX: ECGFF) is pleased to provide details of the Epanko Special Mining Licence (SML) application, which has been lodged with the Tanzanian Mining Commission.
Following signing of the framework agreement, the Government of Tanzania has allowed the application of a Special Mining Licence and will replace the existing Mining Licence on granting.
The existing Epanko ML remains active, allowing all necessary pre-development activities to continue. The benefit of the new SML includes:
 Mining tenure increased to 50 years.
 Expansion of mining tenure to 18.9 km2 and covering the strike extension of the graphite unit - an 87% increase in the strike length covered by new mining tenure.

The Epanko SML application has been submitted with all necessary technical documents provided to the Mining Commission.

Ja, ich erwarte auch, dass das Recycling Geschäft noch etwas (viel) mehr Zeit benötigt bis es rentabel wird....

Zum erstem Mal seit etwa einem Jahr, hat sich der Kurs stabilisiert, mit Tendenz nach oben.
Schauen wir mal ob es nachhaltig so bleibt...

Völlig richtig in der Sache und auch gut für unser Investment. Bis die Stückzahl an Altbatterien jedoch eine rentable Größe erreicht, werden noch ein paar Jahre vergehen, fürchte ich. Da führt das Graphit-Engagement in Tansania sicher schneller zum wirtschaftlichen Erfolg.

Dead EV batteries turn to gold with U.S. incentives

POOLE, England, July 21 (Reuters) - A little-publicized clause in the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act has companies scrambling to recycle electric vehicle batteries in North America, putting the region at the forefront of a global race to undermine China's dominance of the field.

The IRA includes a clause that automatically qualifies EV battery materials recycled in the U.S. as American-made for subsidies, regardless of their origin. That is important because it qualifies automakers using U.S.-recycled battery materials for EV production incentives.

Reuters interviewed more than a dozen industry officials and experts who say that is kicking off a U.S. factory building boom, encouraging automakers to research more recyclable batteries, and could eventually make it harder for buyers in developing countries to buy old used EVs.
