Vielen Dank für die Info 👍
Habe eben ein Update vom CFO erhalten:
Dear xxx,
In relation to your questions below:
Business update
• The Alkindi NDA submission is on track for this quarter
• The Chronocort MAA submission is on track for this quarter
• Current cash lasts until early Q3 2020
Investor relations
The Board does understand – and share – your frustrations at the share price performance. Unfortunately, there are several factors affecting small cap healthcare companies at the moment:
• Brexit – a lot of cash has been taken out of UK equities pending resolution of Brexit
• Investor base – a number of large investors who have historically supported the sector have cycled out of small cap healthcare (e.g. Invesco, Legal & General, Aviva, Fidelity) or have closed funds (e.g. City Financial).
• Woodford – as you will have read, the decline of the Woodford funds has impacted investor sentiment for healthcare stories
Nevertheless, Diurnal has been proactive with 26 institutional investor meetings in the last 4 weeks (both UK and US) as well as retail investor focused activities, with more planned. We are currently covered by three analysts – this is unlikely to increase at present as a result of the changes implemented in MIFID II making it unprofitable for banks to cover stocks where they are not the broker.
With regards to management share purchases, you will see that the Board does periodically purchase shares; however, this is only possible when the company is in an open period for trading.
I hope that this answers your questions.
Best regards
