DAVIS, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Surgical Systems, Inc. (ISS) (Nasdaq: RDOC; Easdaq), a pioneer in medical robotics and the world leader in image-directed, robotic products for surgical applications in the fields of neurological and orthopedic surgeries, today announced the signing of a Common Stock Based Equity Line with Triton West Group in the amount of $12 million. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
ISS has worked with the Triton Group and associated companies in the past on various other financial projects.
``The equity line is designed to provide a safety net to meet any unforeseen short-term working capital needs,`` said Ramesh Trivedi, Ph.D., CEO and President. ``We do not expect this arrangement to effect the company`s operations or its overall results.``
The Products:
ROBODOC® is the ISS robotic surgery product used for total hip arthroplasty. ROBODOC® consists of a robotic arm assembly and a PC-based positioning system. The product interfaces with the Orthodoc® Surgical Planning System from ISS. ISS has installed 37 ROBODOC® systems worldwide.
The ISS neurosurgery product, NeuroMate®, is the first robotic technology for use in stereotactic brain surgery. NeuroMate® consists of a robotic arm assembly and a PC-based positioning system. The product interfaces with the VoXim Surgical Planning System from ISS, as well as other popular third-party planning stations. ISS has installed 16 NeuroMate® systems in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Japan.

Neuen Markt aussieht. Hier die Antwort:

Quartal 2000 wird aus heutiger Sicht auf Grund der formalen Anforderungen für ein Neuer-Markt-Listing wohl nicht erreicht werden können. Wir sind optimistisch, daß das Listing im 3. Quartal 2000 erfolgen kann.`
