Eneti Inc. shares were up 13% to $8.17 after the company said it bought back 2.3 million common shares from INCJ Ltd. for $17 million.
The company, which provides installation and maintenance vessels to the offshore wind sector, had issued the shares to INCJ as part of the acquisition price paid by the company to buy Seajacks in August 2021.
The repurchase of the shares was made under the company's existing board-authorized repurchase plan. As of August 31, $14.9 million remains available under the repurchase plan.

Furthermore, the Company announced today that, Seajacks UK Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company and a leading provider of installation and maintenance vessels to the offshore wind sector, has signed four contracts with customers in NW Europe for between 189 to 240 days of employment for its NG2500-class vessels that will generate between approximately $11.6 million to $14.3 million of revenue in 2022.
In addition, the Company announced on December 27, 2021, that the Seajacks Scylla, another vessel of Seajacks UK limited, signed a contract with Van Oord for employment in Europe in 2023. Hmmm mich juckts hier gerade enorm einzusteigen, nur wird halt bis 2024/25 ne Menge Cash benötigt und wer weiß was noch alles so kommt..

Allgemein Infrastrukturbetreiber, wie bei Schiffen (aber auch Rohstoffunternehmen), kommen daher oft auf solche Ebitda-Margen. Das muss auch oft so sein, um die nicht zu knappen Zinsen zu zahlen.
Vestas und Nordex sind "normal operative" Firmen mit einer ganz anderen Kapitalstruktur.
Daher hat der Herr ??? damals den EV eingeführt mit dem EV-to-EBITDA ratio (EV = Enterprise Value), um hier bessere Vergleichbarkeit herzustellen.
Nur ist Eneti z.Z. mitten in der Umstrukturierung...

Deren Alteigentümer halten zwar 42% an der neuen Eneti, aber die ganze Sache war wohl nicht 100% neutral.
So bezahlte man zurück / musste zurückbezahlen existierende Bankkredite von $268 million, neben anderen Dingen. Seajacks unmittelbare Alteigentümer Atlantis Investorco (mit Parent MARUBENI OFFSHORE POWER --> https://www.marubeni.com/en/company/), a private liability company organized under the laws of England and Wales, hatten zuvor $299,000,000 an Net debt angehäuft
Gleich im August, also nach Ankündigung dieser Transaktion, hatte man auch die Quartals-Dividende von zuvor $0.05 auf $0.01 gekürzt.
Einen Termin für die 2021Q3-Ergebnisse kann ich nicht finden. Mal drauf achten, ob Seajacks/Eneti, wie noch im August versprochen, für 2021e diese Ziele erreichen wird:
