Vielleicht weiß jemand was neues? Bin erst wieder bei 106€ eingestiegen und voll davon überzeugt, daß dieser Wert in den nächsten 3-4 Monaten 200E erreicht.

Inktomi to Buy Ultraseek for $344 Million

PALO ALTO, Calif., June 8 (Reuters) - Inktomi Corp.(NasdaqNM:INKT - news),
which provides search technology for many popular Internet portals, on Thursday said
it will offer more specific search software for corporations and will buy a unit of Walt Disney Co`s (NYSEIS - news)
Go Network to do so.

The company agreed to buy Go Network`s Ultraseek software division for a total price of $344.7 million, to be paid
mostly in Inktomi stock. Disney had acquired Ultraseek when it brought the Infoseek search engine in 1999, but found
that division did not fit with its core focus on children and media and entertainment.

Ultraseek makes a customisable Internet search software, which Inktomi says companies can use to power search
services covering just their Web sites or corporate intranets. While general search services cover large portions of the
Web, they may often miss, or simply not prioritize the online documents that are most significant to specific companies.

``Yahoo and the like provide search services covering all of the Web. Typically individual corporations have different
search needs,`` explained Richard Pierce, Inktomi`s Chief Operating Officer.

In addition to having a narrower focus on certain Web content, corporations often have tight security concerns and need
to make sure that the public at large can not access certain pages made available online to their employees.

Unlike Inktomi`s general search technology, which it provides as a service, the Ultraseek solution is sold as packaged
software designed to sit behind a firewall. This helps address corporations` security concerns, Pierce said.

Inktomi expects the market for corporation-specific search technology will grow swiftly, as a rapid expansion in the
amount of overall Web content makes these narrower searches more challenging. It cited research from Summit
Strategies, projecting the so-called Enterprise Information Portal market will reach $14 billion by 2002.
