NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 2000--FindWhat.com (NASDAQ:FWHT - news) a developer and marketer of performance-based advertising services for the Internet,
featuring the FindWhat.com pay-for-position search engine, today announced that the number of searches accessed on its search engine now top more than 3.5 million per day, up
from an average of 525,000 in the first quarter of 2000.
The Company also said Web site publishers and their advertising agencies now have in place more than 3.2 million bids on search keywords or key phrases. More than 5,000 advertisers are placing bids, up from
approximately 4,000 at the end of May. At the end of 1999, FindWhat.com had approximately 750,000 bids and 1,200 advertisers.
``We are experiencing growth at a record pace,`` said Craig Pisaris-Henderson, President and Chief Technology Officer. ``Every key non-financial metric is up. Daily searches have grown by a whopping 30%, key word
