A combination of analogue and digital services would help audiences to take part in a new era of entertainment. To enable the new technology a platform is needed which is flexible and modular to accommodate both analogue and digital formats as well as different types of high-speed internet access devices. For this purpose the met@box 2000 was defined.

The met@box 2000 is capable of handling standard modems as well as cable modems and other high-speed connections. In order to facilitate flexibility there is a slot dedicated to handling access to the internet which can handle both present and future networks.

Various MPEG standards have been adopted as current media formats. MPEG-II is without doubt the digital Video format for broadcasting. The newest form of audio compression is MPEG Audio layer III. This gives virtually no loss in recording quality but allows 10 songs to be recorded in the space of just one in PCM format. Video and audio Standards are moving very quickly so this feature is modular in order to keep pace with technology.

Es würde mich interessieren, wann diese technische Revolution gemäss Internordic-Website lieferbar sein wird? Dann wäre Met@box den Grossen der Computerindsutrie evtl.um Jahre voraus.
Da der Vetrag ja bis 2001 abgeschlossen sein soll, kann es sich ja noch höchstens um 16 Monate handeln, bis die Meta2000 lieferbar sein wird.
In dem Beitrag steht zudem: "The metabox2000 was made." Das würde bedeuten, sie ist schon produziert !?!
Bei Met@box selber reichen die Produktbeschreibungen bis zur 500-Version.
Die 1000 und 2000 kann ich dort nicht entdecken.

Wenn ich das auf der Hv. richtig verstanden habe, ist das der Phönix. Er ist entwickelt und baldmöglichst
produziert(frag Domeyer im CEO Forum ). Der Preis soll sich bis ca. 2000,- DM bewegen.

welche Börsenfrucht bevorzugen Sie. Interpretieren Sie dabei jede oberflächliche Unenbenheit als Zeichen eines verborgenen Wurmes? Vermuten Sie dann auch regelmäßig, dass der Wurm die Ausmaße eines mittleren Drachen haben könnte ?
Oder greifen Sie doch auf traditionelles zurück? Etwa die Banane.
Bekanntlich hat ja so mancher Primat bessere Börsenprognosen erstellt als die meisten hochbezahlten Analysten. Respekt.
Wäre noch das Problem des Internetanschlusses im Zoo.
Nun, vielleicht kann auch hier Metabox gute Dienste leisten. Die Bedienung soll ja kinderleicht sein...
Je nach Haarkleid hat man natürlich geradezu paranoide Probleme mit Haaren in der Suppe...
