Fonix Leadership in Embedded Voice Applications Market
Fonix Corp. (OTC BB: FONX), a leading provider of human-user interface technology and voice solutions for wireless and mobile devices, Internet and telephony systems, and vehicle telematics, will exhibit its line of voice and human-user interface solutions for embedded applications at the Embedded Systems Conference at the San Jose McEnery Center in San Jose, Calif., Sept. 26-28.
In connection with the show, Fonix will be holding its annual shareholders meeting on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000 at the San Jose Hilton Towers.
In recent years, the embedded market has exploded with the rise of PDAs, mobile phones, and other wireless devices. For the past year, Fonix has been developing products for, and relationships with, leading software providers, device manufacturers, and consumer electronics firms to bring easy and natural voice navigation and voice data read-out to these devices.
At the conference, developers, application providers, and other interested parties will have an opportunity to experience hands-on demonstrations of these functionalities running on a variety of platforms, operating systems, and microprocessors, including PocketPCs, cell phones, and automotive simulations.

Bin schon über 15 Monate mit 8000 Stk. in Fonix investiert und habe schon so manche Höhen und Tiefen durchgemacht!
Aber ich bin ziemlich sicher, daß die Meldung noch kommt, die eine Kursexplosion einleiten wird!

Stimmt es, das Fonix mit den führenden Mobilfunkanbietern in Verhandlung ist zwecks Spracherkennung von Handys?
Genauso sollen Gespräche mit Blaupunkt (Spracherkennung von Autoradios) laufen.
Wenn das alles stimmt, dürfte der Kurs explodieren. Es deutet sich ja schon in den höheren Stückzahlen einiges an.

Bin zwar neu im Board, bin aber schon lange in Fonix mit einer beträchtlichen Anzahl an Aktien investiert! Auch ich bin der Meinung, daß wir noch etwas Geduld aufbringen müssen, um endlich zu von Fonix zu profitieren! Die Spracherkennung bei Computern wird in den nächsten Jahren DAS Thema werden. Fonix ist dabei führend und hat sich durch zahlreiche Partnerschaften (Msoft,Intel,Nortel,...)bestens strategisch postioniert.
Habt Gedult! Es wird sich noch auszahlen!
