Der Fiber-Optics-Markt hat, das ist glaube ich unbestritten, eine glänzende Zukunft.
Das Problem z.Zt.: Es können durch Glasfserkabel riesige Datenmengen in Lichtgeschwindigkeit übertragen werden, bis zu den Knotenpunkten ( oder auch Weichen genannt ) Die herkömmlichen Weichen haben noch mechanische oder elektronische Bauteile, um die Daten an den entsprechenden Emfänger zu leiten. Diese elektronischen oder mechanischen Bauteile bremsen, den Datenfluß erheblich. Die Weichen, welche lt. Don Iwacha, President der Company, noch bis zum Jahresende 2000!!! vorgestellt werden, sind wie gesagt all-optical. Ich habe selbst mit Ihm telefoniert. Die beste und leistungsfähigste Weiche, von Nortel Networks, ist so groß wie ein Kleiderschrank. Die neuen Weichen von LMGR sind in etwa so groß wie ein Brotkasten.
Ihr solltet Euch 2 Stunden Zeit nehmen und dann selbst entscheiden.

Desweiteren wird die Presse aus dem In- u. Ausland vertreten seine und einige wichtige INSTITUTIONELLE ANLEGER.

Das ist ein weiteren, wichtiger Meilenstein in der Kommunikationsbranche.

LMGR hat heute einen Letter of Intent mit France Telekom unterschrieben, nachdem vor etwa 8 Wochen bereits mit einem Amerika-weiten Netzbetreiber
(Info´s: www.empyreancommunication.com ) ebenfalls eine Absichtserklärung abgeschlossen wurde.
LMGR war vor ca. 3 Wochen auf der größten Fiber-optics Messe der Welt, es wird in den nächsten Wochen und Monaten viel passieren.
Die Marktkap. beträgt 34 Mio $ ( 16 Mio. Aktien sind ausgegeben )
Zur Erinnerung Nortel Networks hat vor einiger Zeit die Fa. Xros für 3,25 Mrd. $ gekauft. Das entspricht ( auf LMGR bezogen ) einen Kurs pro Aktie von 191 $!!!!!!!

Der Unterschied ist allerdings. Xros hat kein Patent angemeldt, die Weiche ist deutlich langsamer und vor allem nicht serienreif!!!!

Nun muß sich jeder eigene Gedanken machen.

Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) to evaluate LMG`s innovative acousto-optic switches
for potential application to Boeing products.
