The company, which develops VoiceXML server and application software to voice-enable mission critical applications, is an innovative leader in the emerging voice web space. As a critical part of the broader Voice Web ecosystem, Audium`s technology enables users to access Internet data and perform online transactions from any phone, anytime, anywhere.

The name change is intended to clearly reflect Audium`s strategic focus on developing and deploying industry leading mobile voice applications on its server for customers and partners around the world.

"The new name more accurately communicates the nature of our business," says Audium president and CEO Michael Bergelson. "We feel that our technology delivers a new `audio element` to the world of communications, and enables our customers and partners to leverage the ubiquitous telephone to maximize their external reach while enhancing productivity and efficiency internally."

The Audium team will remain unchanged and will continue to pursue an aggressive business development strategy to deliver world-class voice applications to carriers, enterprises, and web-enabled businesses.

Integrating the Audium Voice Application Server with our Fonix FAAST Framework provides a complete, single vendor solution for interfacing to today`s state-of-the-art speech technologies."

The name change, which is effective immediately, marks the first in a series of announcements the Company plans to release in coming weeks detailing major new partnerships and customer acquisitions.

Gerüchte aus America zu Fonix Corp.

      FONX Longs...

I have been sitting on my FONX shares since April of last year. The launch time will come with increased revenues in Q3 and Q4. The conference call left alot of questions unanswered.

The REAL money to be made short term is with IBUI. A poster stated that they are about to release a PR by the end of this week or beginning of next week on their Gaiacomm technology. This will revolutionize wireless communication and be the best alternative to cell phones. The website is www.Gaiacomm.com. Check it out. The stock is selling for less than .06 and will rocket on this news. It will hopefully carry them to the Nasdaq and out of this OTCBB sector. You will need to get in before next week if a PR hits.

While I have a good position in FONX, my majority stake is in IBUI. It has been my plan to sell a few shares on the run up and load up on FONX at this ridiculous price. My dreams are about to come true.

      Action now...thank me later.

      Peace.

      Fonix: TimeTalk

La_Vie, Fonix has stated that the Fonix ASR is not commercially available right now. Could it be that they are waiting for it to be massed produced by Intel on the xscale (embedded on this chip)? Fonix has talked about wanting to get costs down and Intel has xscale, mass chip production capability, and has a close working relationship with Fonix. Just wondering what your thoughts are.TIA
