Brainpower N.V. (Neuer Markt, BPW), a global provider of e-finance and intranet financial applications to both online
financial service providers and investment professionals, has announced its first quarter results for the three months ended
March 31, 2001.

Key points: - Revenue increased 147% to EUR 1,371,434, (Q1 2000: EUR 555,109) - Total backlog of revenue booked rises
to EUR 9.3 million to be recognised over 2-3 years - Total backlog of revenue to be recognised over the next 12 months now
totals EUR 4.7 million - Continued strong demand from financial institutions - Sales and marketing infrastructure successfully
