Year-Over-year Customer Growth Exceeds 270% as Revenues Increase 119%

ORINDA, Calif., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Intraware, Inc. (Nasdaq: ITRA), the leading IT e-Marketplace for Web-based software and services, today announced revenues of $24.8 million for the third quarter ended November 30, 1999, which represents an increase of 119% over revenues of $11.3 million reported in the quarter ended November 30, 1998. Third quarter revenues increased 29% over $19.2 million reported in the previous quarter ended August 31, 1999.

Net loss was $5.9 million or a loss of $0.25 per share in the quarter ended November 30, 1999, compared to a net loss of $4.4 million or a loss of $1.01 per share in the quarter ended November 30, 1998. Net loss for the prior quarter ended August 31, 1999 was $4.6 million or a loss of $0.20 per share. Excluding the stock-based compensation charge and expenses and amortization related to acquisitions, net loss was $4.4 million or a loss of $0.19 per share for the quarter ended November 30, 1999, compared to a net loss of $3.9 million or a loss of $0.89 share for the year earlier quarter ended November 30, 1998 and $3.8 million or a loss of $0.17 per share for the quarter ended August 31, 1999.
