Hallo Iomega Fans,
Gruss
Loriot

PC World Honors Iomega`s Zip 250 USB Drive With a 2000 World Class Award for Best Removable Media Drive
ROY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 5, 2000--Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM), a global leader in data management solutions, today announced that its Zip(R) 250 USB drive was honored by PC World with a 2000 World Class Award in the Best Removable Media Drive category.
"The World Class Award winners represent an all-star line-up of the year`s best products," said Kevin McKean, editorial director of PC World. "Throughout the year, the editors scout outstanding players in hardware and software for our readers. These awards honor the finest the industry has to offer -- from solid veterans to stand-out rookies."
Celebrating its 18th year, the respected World Class Awards honor the top hardware, software, and Web products in the computer industry. To select the best of the best, PC World`s editors, testers and contributors examined the entire gamut of products that have appeared in the magazine over the past year. Hundreds of products in more than 70 categories were judged on performance, value, consistency and innovation. The World Class Award winners were announced in the July 2000 issue of PC World and will be presented with trophies at an award ceremony to be held during PC Expo in New York.
"We are truly honored that our Zip 250 USB drive has received a PC World World Class Award," said Mark Lucas, executive vice president, global marketing and product management, Iomega Corporation. "Iomega`s Zip product line has a long history of award-winning products, and the Zip 250 USB drive is no exception. We are extremely pleased that the editors of PC World have recognized this product as the leader in the removable storage drive category."
About Zip(R) 250 USB Drive
The latest addition to the Zip(R) product line, the Zip(R) 250 USB drive offers an ultra-thin mobile design that meets the high-capacity storage needs for both PC and Mac users. At one inch thick and weighing just under a pound, the Zip(R) 250 USB drive can accompany the most demanding mobile computer user. The drive conveniently connects with the industry-standard USB port, and also provides a host-powered PCMCIA interface for mobile users. In addition, like Iomega`s other Zip 250MB drives, the Zip 250 USB drive is backward compatible, meaning it can read and write to Zip 100MB, as well as Zip 250MB disks.
