Revenues and Net Income Increase 80% and 833% Respectively Over Prior Year Comparable

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Aug 1, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Inc.
(OTCBulletinBoard:SPAZ) today announced its sixth consecutive quarter of profitability and financial results for the
second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2000.

The company reported net income for the quarter of $112,000, $0.00 basic and diluted per share, compared with net
income of $12,000, $0.00 basic and diluted per share, in the comparable period last year, an increase of 833%. Net
income for the six months ended June 30, 2000 was $282,000, $0.01 basic and diluted per share, compared to net
income of $14,000, $0.00 basic and diluted per share, in the comparable six month period last year.

Revenues for the second quarter of fiscal 2000 were $530,000, compared to revenues of $294,000 in the second
quarter of fiscal 1999, an increase of 80%. Revenues for the six months ended June 30, 2000 were $1,036,000,
compared to revenues of $652,000 in the comparable six-month period last year.

The increase in second quarter net income resulted from greater royalty revenue in the quarter, partially offset by
increases in operating expenses resulting from accelerated sales development activity, increases in engineering
staffing and the launch of an investor relations program during the quarter.

The increase in second quarter revenues was primarily due to royalties from a major account which did not provide
revenue in the comparable quarter last year and increases in revenue derived from Spatializer N-2-2(TM). The increase
in Spatializer N-2-2 revenue was driven by an increase of more than 150% in third-party DVD player or digital signal
processor (DSP) shipments which generates per unit royalties for the Company. The increase in shipments was
moderated by lower royalty rates, compared to those earned in the quarter ended June 30, 1999 because some of the
Company`s license agreements provide for royalty rate reductions as volume milestones are achieved. As a result, the
royalty rates earned by the Company were generally 100% higher in the second quarter of 1999, when one licensee
began its initial shipments of its DSP product. Virtually all volume milestones have been achieved as of June 30, 2000,
which should result in stabilized royalty rates going forward.

become more apparent. Beginning in the fourth quarter 2000, we expect to see our operating results strengthened as
our newest licensees, Acer Labs, VM Labs and NJRC, begin to ship product."

investments in people, research and infrastructure that could impact our profitability for a quarter or two, we have
successfully established a strong foundation without sacrificing profits. We have reinforced this foundation in many

substantial share of the wide array of new business opportunities generated by the digital audio revolution over the next

Im gegenwärtigen Boardgetümmel um Spatializer habe ich mir Gedanken gemacht, in welcher Form ich mich nach längerer Abwesenheit äußere. Ich entschied mich für
das beliebte II Part Spiel: Was würde ich tun ? - Was würde ich nicht tun ? Beginnen wir mit dem schwierigeren Part I :

Was würde ich als Spatializer Shareholder in diesen Tagen anstreben ?

1. Ich würde mit einem Adobe Reader ausgerüstet zu Jarod´s hidden link

surfen und nachschauen was da für ein misteriöses Fragment rumlungert . Schaut aus wie ein neues Kind der MDC Group - ist es auch . Für welchen Zweck würde ich
mich dann fragen.

2. Ich würde mir alles anschauen, was rund um Nuon und VM Labs in den nächsten Wochen geschieht. Ich würde die Preise vergleichen zwischen einem NUON
supporteten DVD Home Entertainment und einer herkömmlichen Spielekonsole.

3. Ich würde ein wenig auf Motorola aufpassen.

4. Ich würde mich um die Aussage von Mr. Apple Jobs kümmern bezüglich einer Game Console featured by Apple.

5. Ich würde mir die täglich neu supporteten Seiten der MSFT X BOX anschauen - ein interessanter Link wäre z.B.

Interessant deshalb, weil nirgendwo in der Soundoption ein SRSL Signal auftaucht und auch die letzte PR von NVIDIA ( http://www.nvidia.com) - dem X Chip Hersteller
keinen Verweis enthält. Allerdings gibt es da eine Customer 3D Sound Option - Achtung - bisher ist nicht ersichtlich um wen oder was es sich dabei handelt !!!!!!

6. Ich würde mir auf selbiger FAQ Seite der XBOX die Tabelle anschauen und mich genauer mit dem für Oktober 2001 angekündigten Game Cube von Nintendo
beschäftigen. Check the Sound specifications . Außer Fragezeichen noch nichts zu sehen...... Upsss.

7. Ich würde mich ein wenig bei NJRC umschauen. Mr. Mandell hat für das 4.Q die ersten Aktivitäten angekündigt. Unbedingt nachschauen wie es um die Aktivitäten
wirklich steht.

8. Ich würde mich mit Mediamatics beschäftigen.

9. Ich würde mir die DVD Player Top Ten ansehen !

10. Ich würde mich erkundigen warum Spatializer Auto FX veröffentlicht wurde und warum man über PC FX folgendes sagt "Spatializer`s positional audio technology for
computer games utilizing the Microsoft DirectX(TM) API. "

11. Ich würde unbedingt nachzählen , welchen Platz Spatializer in der Hitachi DVD Sparte einnimmt !

12. Ich würde mich fragen warum Spatializer seit Oktober 99 nur N-2-2 verkauft , mittlerweile die Vibes Option von der Website verbannt hat ( interessant hierzu auch die
Digital FX PR) und trotzdem Soundmeister eingestellt hat. Was zum Teufel haben die die ganze Zeit gemacht. Nichts .Das glaubt Mandell doch keine Sau !!!!!!!!!!

13. Ich würde mal nachschauen, was aus den letzten Pennystocks geworden ist , welche MDC supportet hat. Um Ihnen die Suche zu erleichtern - Sie müssen an der
Nasdaq suchen )) !

Ich mache bewußt Schluß an dieser Stelle ......

Was ich nicht tun würde :
14. - meinen bequemen Sessel verlassen, um mich mit Leuten wie Gigabell verbal zu duellieren. Rechenkünste sind zwar oft sehr hilfreich - auch zu Provokationszwecken
taugen sie ganz gut - allerdings um die Zukunft zu errechnen, halte ich sie für wenig hilfreich. Es macht für mich keinen Sinn die Zukunft positiv oder negativ vorher zu
orakeln. Sinn macht es Tatsachenpuzzle zu lösen und daraus einen Plan zu erkennen.
Zusammen mit ein wenig Zeit - Geduld und meinetwegen auch einem Glas Geistenthalter bieten die oben aufgeführten Denkanregungen sicher ein wenig Treibstoff dafür.
Und vergessen Sie bitte nicht : Nehmen Sie es mir nicht übel wenn ich Recht behalten sollte - das habe ich nicht gewollt !
