AMX Resources Ltd ("AMX") today announced that Shareholders had
approved the acquisition of Third Rail USA and Amalgamated Network
Systems ("ANS"). The shareholders also approved a change in the
company name to Third Rail Limited. The acquisitions are being funded
by a $22 million placement, sponsored by Paterson Ord Minnett, which
closed fully subscribed. AMX is issuing 88 million shares at an issue
price of 25 cents each. It is expected that the Company`s shares will
relist on Monday 18 September 2000.

AMX is planning to deploy an Australian nationwide Wireless Local
Loop network providing enhanced telecommunications services, based on
a true "last mile" solution, capable of delivering broadband services
to support voice, video and data applications.

AUSTRALIAN TECHNOLOGY TRIAL

AMX has deployed network and radio frequency equipment at two
separate test sites:

* Newcastle (Hybrid Networks equipment); and
* Sydney (Spike Broadband Systems equipment).

Both systems are connected to fibre networks via Cisco high-end
routers and fibre switches.

Wireless links have been established at several customer sites. All
connections are performing reliably at high speed (up to 8 Mbs with
low bit error rates) in all types of weather. AMX is attaining
outstanding performance in Line of sight (LOS) and near LOS
conditions at distances of up to 15 kilometres from the base station.

At the conclusion of the trial, final commercial arrangements will be
negotiated, orders placed and the network rollout commenced. A number
of sites connected for the trial will continue on a commercial basis
from the close of the trial.

BUSINESS PARTNERS

Soul Pattinson Telecommunications ("SPT") and AMX are progressing
toward a commercial agreement to provide regionally based customers
with WLL based services connected via SPT expansive backbone network
services throughout regional NSW and QLD. SPT have been extensively
involved in the technology trials and have lent logistic support for
regional access to bandwidth and Internet services.

PSInet are excited about the possibilities of the relationship in
providing Wireless solutions to customers. PSINet have provided
extensive logistic and technical support to the trial and has
extended WLL connections from their own network as part of the trial.

CARRIER LICENCE

AMX`s wholly owned subsidiary, AMX Communications, has been granted
a carrier licence by the Australian Communications Authority (ACA).

That licence enables AMXC to provide a wide range of commercial
services - data, voice and video over the WLL network currently being
prepared for national roll-out from October 2000. Notice of the
granting of the licence is expected to appear in the Australian
Government Notices Gazette on the 20 September 2000.

Granting of the licence complements the detailed planning and carrier
discussions to provide a high reliability Wireless Local Loop network
that will extend the fibre network reach of several major carriers
already involved in the AMXC technology trials.

Tag zusammen! Hat jemand näheres zu AMX? Vertraut ihr denn noch auf die Zukunft? Ich glaube, daß die Aktie momentan nur etwas schwächelt und bald wieder auf Erholungskurs geht. AMX Resources wurde ja umbenannt in Third Rail und ist nun am Börsenplatz Australien unter dem Kürzel
TRD abzufragen. www.asx.com.au
Third Rail wird auch in Deutschland unter der alten WKN 906545 gehandelt.
Sonst sind mir bis jetzt keine anderen Börsenplätze bekannt.

Ich hoffe das wir ein paar News bekommen, denn für eine Erholung benötigen wir einen Push von TRD.
Wann TRD an die NASDAQ gehen möchte weiß ich nicht.
Das mit dem 1$ sollten wir nicht so ernst nehmen, denn man kann auch mit einem geringerem Shareprice an
die NASDAQ. Allerdings gibt es NASDAQ-Rules die besagen, daß ein Wert unter 1$ an den weniger beachteten
NASDAQ OTC Market gehen muß.
Sollte ich mehr erfahren, dann melde ich mich wieder.

hallo
nun vergeßt doch mal diese 1$ geschichte. das bewußt oder unbewußt als kursziel anzupeilen,
nur weil amx an die nasdaq will, ist doch unsinn. es gibt ja schließlich den simplen kniff eines
reverse-splits. dabei werden mehrere aktien z.b. 10 zu einer zusammengefaßt und schwupps,
ist der kurs von 0.12 (pro alte) bei 1.2 (pro neue = pro 10 alte), ohne daß die aktionäre dabei
irgendwas gewonnen oder verloren hätten. das ist doch erheblich wahrscheinlicher, als daß sich
der kurs mal eben aus dem stand verzehnfacht, nur weil amx woanders gelistet werden will.
außerdem haben meiner meinung nach viele leute die nase gestrichen voll (z.b. ich) und werden
bei ihrem einstandskurs sofort rausgehen. bei diesem verkaufsdruck wird es amx meiner
meinung nach in nächster zeit sehr schwer haben, auch wenn gute nachrichten kommen sollten.

war gestern nur ein Geldkurs, oder hätte man zu einem Cent kaufen können

natürlich ist das wieder mal ein versehen von berlin, die haben am tag vorher eine notierung von 0,01 cent angegeben. wenn am nächsten tag der richtige kurs drinsteht, ergeben sich daraus eben die 900% zuwachs.
schau doch mal in den anderen thread mit neuem datum. da haben sich auch schon leute dazu geäussert.
