da ja immer viel spekuliert wird, hier mal was von mir

beim Musiksender 123sat (analog und digital auf Hotbird)
ist mir aufgefallen, dass in einem Werbetrailer unter anderem das 3.Foto von diesen hier zu sehen ist



kann natürlich Zufall sein, dass es auch auf der met@box-USA Seite verwendet wird

123sat hat die Homepage www.123sat.com
dabei geht es, wie auch in der Werbung im TV-Programm um Kennnenlern-Telefon-Nr, Chatten usw.

Chat ist ja auch eine Anwendung der met@box1000,
123sat stammt wohl ursprünglich aus der Türkei? ...

ausserdem gibt es bei den Videoclips immer ein Match:
zwei Musiktitel werden eingeblendet, dass mit den meisten Anrufen wird dann sofort als nächstes gesendet

weiterhin sonnabends eine TOP30

Meiner Meinung nach jede Menge Ideen für interaktives TV,
also wer Hotbird empfängt kann sichs ja mal ansehen oder
ich stell mal ein paar Screenshots rein...

STAMFORD, Connecticut, Mar 28, 2001 (AP WorldStream via COMTEX) -- General Electric Co. will sell its satellite unit to a Luxembourg company for dlrs 5 billion in cash and stock, creating a satellite services provider with a global reach, the companies announced Wednesday.

Societe Europeenne des Satellites SA will provide GE with dlrs 2.7 billion in cash and a 25 percent stake and a 20 percent voting interest in SES Global, a new company in Luxembourg created by the deal. The new company consists of SES and GE Americom, the company`s satellite unit which had been run by Stamford-based GE Capital.

SES had been strong in Europe, while GE has a strong presence in North America, the companies said. With partnerships in Latin America and Asia, the combined company will be able to provide global satellite services to its customers.

"The complementary fit of SES and Americom in terms of reach, customers, services and people make this a terrific growth opportunity for our companies," said Denis Nayden, chairman and chief executive officer of GE Capital. "Our customers will also benefit from being able to transmit international content seamlessly through a fully integrated broadband satellite network."

GE officials said they do not anticipate layoffs as a result of the deal.

GE Americom has 17 satellites and customers that include ABC Radio Networks, AT-and-T Alascom, British Telecom, Disney, NBC and The New York Times. GE Americom, which is based in Princeton, New Jersey, reported dlrs 522 million in revenue last year and said its satellites reached about 115 million subscribers.

SES, which has 11 satellites, offers radio, television and broadband multimedia services.

The move allows GE to continue its involvement in the satellite business without having to invest substantial money to create a global system of satellites, said John Inch, an analyst with Bear Stearns in New York.

"Increasingly, customers want to be able to sign contracts for satellite services on a global basis," Inch said. "It`s just another example of how GE Capital is a very savvy business organization."

The deal, which has been approved by both companies` boards of directors but is subject to regulatory approvals, should make it easier for broadcasters and other businesses to distribute their products abroad, the companies said.

GE satellites, for example, already transmit the Cartoon Network in Poland. Such a transmission could be more easily expanded with the new company.

GE stock was trading at dlrs 41.08, down 83 cents, Wednesday afternoon on the New York Stock Exchange.

Ich will Eure Spekulationen nicht zunichte machen, aber viele solcher Fotos gibt es ganz einfach zu kaufen. Bei einem solchen Foto das zu diesem Thema passt wäre es nicht ungewöhnlich das da 2 Firmen das gleiche Bild nutzen.
