Palm ist unter den Top 20,6 mal vertreten.Quelle:CNET.COM.An meine Hand,lasse ich nur Palm.Palm,oft kopiert,nie erreicht!Sehe Aktienkurs in 12 Monaten bei 5$.Nun kommt mir nicht mit puschen,denn der Kurs wird sowieso bei den Amis gemacht.

ich interessiere mich schon seit langem bei Palm. Wie siehst du die Aktie innerhalb eines Monats (>1$???). Ich habe Palm schon seit einem Jahr im Depot, und überlege langsam nachzukaufen.
Deine Meinung würde mich freuen

Hallo heikekarina,

bei keiner Aktie ist vorherzusagen,wo der Aktienkurs in einem Monat steht.Nachdem Du anscheinend schon seit einem Jahr investiert bist,musst Du sowieso langfristig denken.Nachkaufen wuerde ich erst wenn der Kurs bei starken Umsaetzen ansteigt.Ich weis,dann ist es zu spaet etc.Was aber,wenn der Kurs noch einmal eien Ruecksetzer macht?Ich habe mir bei den sogenannten nachkaeufen nur die Finger verbrannt!Wichtiger erscheinen mir folgende Punkte:Momentan produziert Palm 6 verschiedene handhelds und eine neue Produktserie soll im Herbst auf den Markt kommen.Einige der neuen Modelle haben ein eingebautes Telefon,Video,Audio,bessere Software etc.Meiner Meinung nach,werden solche Geraete auf kurz oder lang,den Handyherstellern den Rang ablaufen.Ein Geraet dass alles kann,wer will das nicht?Nach den Umsatzwarnungen der Vergangenheit,muss jedoch wieder Vertrauen gewonnen werden und dass geht nur mit besseren Zahlen.Sollte meine Prognose richtig sein und die neue Produktpalette bei den Verbrauchern ankommen,dann schiesst Palm wortwoertlich in den Himmel.Mein Invesment bei Palm sehe ich als langfristige Goldgrube.Ich benuetze seit Jahren Palm handhelds und bin begeistert.Sollte ich mich taeuschen,was ich absolut nicht annehme,werde ich mit Palm,wie ein Kapitaen am sinkenden Schiff untergehen.VERKAUFEN KOMMT FUER MICH NOCH LANGE NICHT IN FRAGE!Vielleicht in einem oder zwei Jahren,wenn mir der Preis(zweistellig,aber ohne rueckwikenden Aktiensplitt))richtig erscheint.
Hoffe Dir mit meiner Ansicht der Situation geholfen zu haben.

NEW YORK - One of the great advantages of the personal digital assistant is that it`s small and portable. Its great disadvantage is that it`s difficult to enter data with a stylus.

That fact has led to a parade of curious and occasionally truly innovative add-on keyboards that fold up, slide or are built in to handheld PDAs and wireless phone-PDA combos. But now it seems that the keyboard itself may not have to take physical form in order to be useful.


Canesta`s projection keyboard for PDAs

A California-based startup called Canesta is today launching a virtual keyboard that is projected from the face of a PDA or mobile phone onto a flat surface in front of it. Your fingers do the typing on a virtual keyboard as though there was a full-sized keyboard there. The company is announcing the technology at the DEMOmobile Conference, which starts today in La Jolla, Calif.

What makes it work is a technology the company has developed called "electronic perception technology" which tracks a user`s finger movements in three dimensions.

Adding the technology to a phone or PDA requires no accessories, but is intended to be built in to the device by the manufacturer. Canesta has designed a set of chips and a light sensor about the size of a pea that are small enough and cheap enough that manufacturers could add them to their designs without increasing the size significantly--or more importantly, increasing the cost.

The light sensor tracks the movements of fingers in real time and translates them into keystrokes that correspond with a grid of keys that are projected onto whatever flat surface happens to be handy.

We`ve seen something similar before. At last year`s Comdex trade show in Las Vegas (see: "Air Typing Into A PDA") we ran across a company called Senseboard Technologies that had designed devices that attached to the hands and allowed for typing into a PDA. It won a Best of Show award and reminded us of the classic Jerry Lewis typewriting comedy routine from the movie, Who`s Minding The Store?

Canesta`s advantage is the fact that as far as the user is concerned there`s no new hardware to buy or install. But PDA manufacturers are under pressure to add a raft of new features to their devices, all of which require extra components that take up valuable space and add to the always sensitive bill of materials.

Before adding it to their devices--and there`s no word on who will be the first--PDA manufacturers like Palm (nasdaq: PALM - news - people ), Hewlett-Packard (nyse: HPQ - news - people ) and Toshiba as well as wireless phone makers like Nokia (nyse: NOK - news - people ) and Motorola (nyse: MOT - news - people ), among others, will be sure to put the technology through some tough tests to make sure it works as advertised. If it does, typing on tabletops may become disconcertingly common.

Hat einer mitgekriegt, dass Lucent stieg,
währenddessen wirklich alles in Grund und Boden geshortet wurde ?......i know, why...

Andererseits haben die Emittenten wieder mal alles dafür getan,
den Umtausch der Put-Optionen so schadensbegrenzend wie möglich für sich zu gestalten.
Und der Empfänger schaut wohlwollend zu, kriegt er die Shares doch zu Tiefstpreisen, mit enormem Rebound-Potential.

Dieser Terminhandel ist eine verdammte Krankheit.

Palm hat von Juni-Juli eine Nachfragesteigerung von 3% in Deutschland verzeichnet.Und sieht allgemein einen "TURNAROUND" fuer handhelds in Europa.Hoffen wir auf gute Zahlen und noch wichtiger,positiven Ausblick.Am Montag um 23 Uhr wissen wir mehr.
