ACCLAIM ENTERTAINMENT, INC. SIGNS LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH DISNEY INTERACTIVE FOR `ALIAS`, ABC TELEVISION`S HIT DRAMA SERIES
Acclaim`s Internal Product Development Studio Creating Video Game to be Released in Fall of 2003
GLEN COVE, NY, January 27, 2003 -Acclaim Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ.SC: AKLM), today announced that it has signed an agreement with Disney Interactive for the rights to publish video games based on ABC Television`s hit drama series, "Alias." Currently in its second season, Alias is one of television`s most critically acclaimed series. The Alias video game is currently being developed by Acclaim`s Cheltenham studio and is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2003 across all of the next-generation gaming platforms.
Alias will be a third-person action adventure video game that allows players to step into the role of the series` lead character, Sydney Bristow, an agent for the CIA. Bristow must use her cunning, extensive knowledge of martial arts and array of high-tech gadgetry to accomplish dangerous missions. Alias will encompass all of the key elements behind the series` success, including high-action combat, stealth missions and time-based objectives, espionage, intriguing plot twists, high-tech weaponry and stunning gameplay locations that span the globe.
"Alias is one of the strongest new TV entertainment properties and is filled with great characters, rich storylines and incredible action that lends itself perfectly to interactive entertainment," said Evan Stein, Vice President of Marketing for Acclaim. "We are thrilled to have "Alias" join our portfolio of world-renowned licenses. "
"With the strength of the storylines in Alias, we couldn`t imagine a better venue of expression then through the world of video games," says Bruce Gersh, Vice President of Business Development at ABC. "We are excited about the prospect of a great game that will bring all the elements of the show to a new fan base in the gaming world."
Alias was created by J.J. Abrams, who executive-produces the series along with John Eisendrath, Ken Olin, Alex Kurtzman-Counter, and Roberto Orci. The series, which is filmed in Los Angeles and premiered on September 30, 2001, is from Touchstone Television.

PS : Die letzten QZahlen waren katastrophal.

Alias,Combat Elite,The Red Star,Showdown(LOW),
Neues Dave Mirra,Rugby 2005,The Bards Tale,100 Bullets,
Worms 3D(USA),Carmen Sandiago,Allstar Baseball 2005!

Bin mal gespannt, was die nächsten Wochen so bringen...

AFL uns Alias Top 10 in Australien.
Champ Rugby Top 10 in GB.
Allstar Baseball TOP 15 in USA.
Trozdem scheint da was nich zu stimmen!
Was meint ihr?

Tja was immer das heißt.

Acclaim to file late annual report on audit delay
Tuesday June 15, 6:27 pm ET
LOS ANGELES, June 15 (Reuters) - Video game publisher Acclaim Entertainment Inc. (NasdaqSC:AKLM - News) on Tuesday said its annual report will be late because the company`s auditors have not completed their work, according to a securities filing.
The Glen Cove, New York-based company required more time to complete disclosures associated with the end of its fiscal year on March 31, the company said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (News - Websites) .
Company officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
Acclaim, which publishes games like "Combat Elite" and "Alias," restated its earnings in May for fiscal years 2001, 2002 and 2003 as a result of a $9.5 million accounting error.
In February, the company said it would delay filing its quarterly report with the SEC, citing difficulty resolving an unspecified issue that had to be disclosed in documents.
Days later, it filed the report with a disclosure that it had discovered some documents that violated its sales policies, and said it was tightening its internal controls.
Acclaim has struggled this year without a breakout hit in the highly competitive video game market, and has been slapped with lawsuits from some of its top licensees, including Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Acclaim`s "Alias," which featured the likenesses of big Hollywood stars, but fell short of targets.
Acclaim gibt z. Zt. nicht zuviel für Werbung aus...

Fourth Quarter Fiscal Year 2004 and Fiscal Year 2005 Guidance
The Company currently expects to incur an approximate net loss in the fourth quarter of between $20.0 and $25.0 million or between $0.18 and $0.23 per diluted share, respectively. Included in the projected net loss is an approximate $3.3 million or $0.03 per diluted share non-cash charge associated with the expected conversion of the Company`s 16% convertible subordinated notes to common stock as a result of obtaining an effective registration statement for the underlying securities with the Securities and Exchange Commission. If, in the fourth quarter, the 16% convertible subordinated notes do not convert to common stock as anticipated, the Company expects that its net loss in the fourth quarter would be less than $25.0 million or $0.23 per diluted share and the $3.3 million non-cash charge would be incurred in a later quarter once the registration statement does becomes effective.
