Sources in Pakistan say al-Qaida operatives there have been given a three-month deadline to work with associates from local hardline Islamic organizations to target Western interests in the region, the report says.
U.K. intelligence sources told the newspaper that the U.K. is third on the list of preferred targets after the U.S. and Israel, and confirmed that credible reports of al-Qaida attacks had grown.
