einer folk rock combo aus neufundland einer ecke, wo es viele traditionelle verbindungen vor allem zu keltisch-schottischer musik gibt



ich habe die mal im vorprogramm von runrig erlebt, und das war grandios, wie sie mit zwei akk. gitarren und einem akk. bass über die bühne gefegt sind.

@wangert: hey - die neue Foreigner formation hätte ich auch gern mal gesehen – ich hatte vor einiger zeit eine videoperformance auf der website der band gesehen von „Juke Box Hero“(kombiniert mit Whole Lotta Love) und das war hammergeil(ich vermute mal dieses video wolltest du verlinken – aber da ist wohl ein copyfehler passiert, da im link „Serge Gainsbourg vs. Whitney Houston“ steckt).... mit Jason Bonham, dem sohn der Led Zep legende, haben sie ja jetzt einen drummer dabei, der richtig druck machen kann und Kelly Hansen ist schon immer ein großartiger rockshouter gewesen, dazu noch am bass Jeff Pilson, der ja schon großes bei Dokken geleistet hat(und als exzellenter sänger den satzgesang im chorus gut unterstützen dürfte – ich hoffe da kommt demnächst mal ein brandneues studioalbum in dieser besetzung...

@heizi: bei den konzerten war „Chance“ immer einer der höhepunkte, dank des unwiderstehlichen mitsingparts... – hab noch minutenlang mit der menge „Oh Lord, don’t let this feeling go...“ gesungen, als der song bereits längst beendet war...

@päpstin: ...ich liebe diesen song auch, seit ich ihn damals das erste mal in der WDR Schlagerrallye gehört habe(wo er dann fast 30 wochen platziert war)...
