Brief history of the company

EuroWeb - and its predecessor companies – appeared in the market in 1995, concurrently with the domestic start of the Internet and as of 1997 – as EuroWeb already – in a way basically different from the other service providers, it had set the target of providing quality service especially to significant business users. At the end of 1998 Pantel Telecommunications Co. became the majority owner, which established a telecommunications background that founded the company’s strategic progress and the development of new services. As a result of the new regulations introduced continuously to follow its growth, EuroWeb obtained the ISO 9001 certification in 2001.


Ownership background

EuroWeb Internet Service Provider Co.’s owners are PanTel Telecommunications Co. with a 51 % and EuroWeb International Inc. with a 49 % ownership ratio.

PanTel Co. was founded by the Dutch royal telecommunications company, KPN with a majority share and PTInvest Co. – being in the ownership of KFKI Computer Systems Corporation – and MÁV Co. with a minority share. During the past three years PanTel Co. became the leading alternative national business service provider in the Hungarian telecommunications market. EuroWeb International is a company quoted on the American technological exchange, NASDAQ that established one of the strongest international service providers of the region by acquiring several Slovakian, Czech and Romanian Internet service providers in 1999 and 2000; its Romanian and Slovakian companies are market leaders. In February 2000 the Dutch KPN acquired a 51 % share in EuroWeb International also.

weiss jemand, warum eweb zu abgeht ??

kein ahnung.
komisch, dass gerade in deutschland die stück sinnlos geschmissen werden. in den usa, wo der umsatz gemacht wird, passiert nichts.

sind wohl die front runner vom aktionär wieder raus.
ist eher ein kaufsignal... :-)

denke die firma wird ihren weg machen und der kurs in usa bald wieder nach oben drehen (egal was die deutschen mit ihren paar stücken machen).

da sind wohl echte investoren aufmerksam geworden.
wenn gleich mehrere interesse haben ist das ehe gut als schlecht. lediglich einer ist noch in der evaluationspahse, der rest scheint nicht an einer übernahme interesseirt. ggf. versuchen diese kandidaten hin und wieder ein paar stücke über die börse einzusammeln. daher die kurssprünge.
das der aktuelle preis denen nicht passt kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. eher der gedanke, dass man über die börse die stücke einsammeln muss und da wird sicher nichts für 4 oder 5€ abgegeben werden.
