Interview with Reno Calabrigo of Magnum D’or Exploration
      by Tom Bibiyan 04:38 - 10/1/03

Magnum d`Or Resources Inc.(MAGR-OTCBB) is a junior resource exploration and development company which primarily seeks precious and base metal resource depostis. Recently Magnum acquired an option of a 100% possible interest on an excellent gold-copper property in Mongolia. The property, named the Shandi property lies in an excellent geological region, it borders the famous Ivanhoe Mines as well as International Uranium Corp. The Shandi property hosts potential with the Undershil Deep Fault which is known to be the most popular fault in Mongolia for significant gold discoveries.

1/ What is the primary business and focus of magnum exploration?

      - Magnum is a Junior Resource Exploration company primarily focussed on pursuing and exploring early stage mining properties situated in opportunistic geological settings. Magnum’s focus is to build and explore a portfolio of highly prospective properties thus increasing Magnums potential for a discovery.

2/What can you tell potential investors about the structure of the company and the size of the float, or what percent of stock do insiders and family control?

The insiders and family and friends own about 25 million shares.

3/What can you tell us about the Shandi Property in Mongolia that you are about to begin work on?

The Shandi property is a highly prospective property it’s location is strategically situated bordering Ivanhoe Mines and IUC, the Shandi property first interested Magnum because of the Undershil Deep fault which runs horizonticaly through the property. The Undershil Deep fault is considered to be the most significant structure for gold mineralization in the region. The Shandi property is also located approx 48.5 km north of the town known as Shuteen, a very well known gold mining town for years in Mongolia.

4/Your properties are right next to Ivanhoe Mines and IUC, do you follow these company’s and are their similarities amongst the companies in the region?

Yes we do follow these companies, it is early for us to comment directly on similarities of their geological findings but we are told that we do have similarities in geological settings, this is the desert and I am sure a lot looks the same out there. We look forward to receiving the results from the initial work program on the Shandi property by mid-November. The other two properties that we have acquired show respectable mineralization in our opinion similar to that of other discoveries in Mongolia. The reports on the properties implicate gold, copper, silver and nickel along with other industrial minerals.

5/Your Shandi property is on the Undershil Deep fault what is special about this fault and how large is it?

The Undershil deep fault is considered to be the most significant structure for gold mineralization of this region we are in the process of researching its potential size and past gold occurences and will include more data about the fault after the completion of the initial work program.

6/Why is Mongolia such a hotbed for so many type of mineral resources and what types of occurrences are found in the region other than Gold?

Mongolia has become a hotbed as a result of the major discoveries that Ivanhoe mines has come up with and the continual expansion of existing resources that is currently undergoing. Mongolia has been overlooked for several years with the exception of the Russians and then BHP doing exploration work, we feel that Mongolia is a gold mine in itself with plenty of room for new discoveries. Mongolia also is known to have significant amounts of copper and zinc along with nickel and other industrial metals. The lack of resources and expertise in Mongolia in our opinion have left many areas untapped.

7/Is the Mongolia government helpful to all the foreigners in the region and are the locals involved in the process?

The Mongolian governement is very helpful and is doing what it can to encourage foreign exploration within its country. Mongolia is starting to realize an economic boost as a result of the new mining companies in Mongolia. To date any dealings that we have had with the company have been very easy and efficient without any problems direct or indirect.

8/Can you fill the public in on the recent discoveries in the Mongolian Region by Ivanhoe Mines?

Ivanhoe continues to add and amaze everyone regarding its initial discoveries.

9/We talked before about some of the discoveries in the region with so many different minerals in the area. Who will be the consumer of all these raw materials?

With an improving resource market and higher demands for several minerals around the world my opinion is that consumers will be wide throughout the international market. It is my understanding that China is currently a significant consumer of base metals and I believe there is a general market in the world for all metals.

10/Reno can you tell us more about the other two new properties you have recently acquired and their geology?

The two highly prospective licenses that we have recently acquired an option on neighbor Ivanhoe Mines and the Shandi Property, they have recently had work programs which resulted in the discovery of the `North Zone`in property one and the `East Zone`the second property. The `North Zone`discovery has an identified area of high mineral potential; the North Zone exploration program resulted in encouraging assay values from samples, which realized both copper and gold values. Other areas also showed very high potential for mineral exploration and will be further pursued in an initial work program. Based on fieldwork it is recommended that the North Zone undergo additional geological mapping, rock and soil sampling, and Induced Polarization surveys to help define the possibilities of a significant new discovery. Future work is also highly recommended on the other prospective areas within the North Zone that were previously identified in the program. In the identification of `The East Zone,`the second property, the East Zone is described as an epithermal-magnetite occurrence similar to a Nevada type occurrence giving immediate elevated nickel and cobalt values. In addition, the zone is coincident with a geophysical high, which extends in an east-west direction for 5 km. This zone may be representative of a porphyry/skarn occurrence and endures the possibility of significant mineralization.

11/There is a lot of speculation about Mr. John Yee and Charles Ming being involved what can you tell us about them and are you expecting big things from their contacts in the Asian markets. Have either of them been involved in public companies?

With the addition of Mr. Yee and Mr. Ming, the Company becomes considerably stronger from a management and financial perspective. We look forward to working closely with all their contacts in Asia, and plan to do a road show in Asia before year’s end.

12/Do you have a time line on putting out results from the new properties you have acquired with geology already done?

We will release the results next week on our new website.

13/Is the company well funded right know and do you anticipate doing financings in the near term and what is the price you will consider doing a Private Placement?

The Company is funded to the extent to meet our initial work program commitments as per our agreements. However, as we proceed through additional phases, the Company will look to raise additional capital.

14/Although the Mongolian area is the hotbed right know is Magnum looking into other areas for exploration or acquisitions that may have properties further along in the discovery stage?

Magnum is always looking at various projects and does have a few more in mind but has not entered into negotiations at this time for any of the properties. Magnum will issue a News release in the future if it enters into any form of a LOI

15/Reno what are your thoughts on the Gold market in general and is this the beginnings of a gold bull market?

It is my opinion that we are at the end of the first year of a possible 5 year gold bull market, I like the fact that we are in the beginning and see an added potential in the upward trending gold price.

16/Is magnum looking into possible Joint ventures at this time?

No, Magnum is not actively pursuing a JV at this time. We feel confident that our existing team of professional can bring the Company to that next level. However, in the future, we will re-visit this issue.

      17. Reno thanks for your time in answering these questions, how can people contact you or Magnum D`or Exploration if they have any further questions.

      Good luck

Mongolia Is Having a Mine Rush
Mongolian mining workers install a rock crushing machine for the Boroo Gold Company, a Canadian-financed venture at Bornuur.

      By JAMES BROOKE

      Published: October 3, 2003

BORNUUR, Mongolia - A single-lane dirt road winds through rolling hills, past a herd of wild horses, past flocks of sheep, and past white felt gers, the traditional homes of nomads of the steppes. Then the road crests a bluff and the view jumps forward by centuries: the blue walls of a new $75 million Canadian-owned gold mine.

The Cameco Corporation`s Boroo mine has advanced the farthest of a dozen foreign mining projects in Mongolia - its mill is expected to start pouring gold bars by December. Victor Collinge, the Saskatchewan native who supervises the new mill, showed off its huge rock crushers and grinders, imported from Nevada and Western Australia. "I see nothing but good in Mongolia`s future," he said.

For most of the 20th century, Mongolia, a landlocked expanse of Asian prairie and desert twice the size of Texas, was trapped and isolated - a Communist buffer state wedged between the Soviet Union and China with little economic development and less contact with the rest of the world. Now a mining boom is beginning, fueled by a free-market economy, investor-friendly mining laws, new mineral discoveries, and the rapidly spreading realization that Mongolia can become China`s Canada: a close-at-hand supplier of raw materials to the world.

"Last year, China surpassed the U.S. as the No. 1 consumer and importer of copper, and the holy grail in our business is to be the low-cost supplier to China," said Robert M. Friedland, chairman of Ivanhoe Mines, over breakfast at Millie`s, one of several American-style restaurants that have sprung up in Ulan Bator, Mongolia`s capital, 50 miles south of Bornuur.

Mr. Friedland, one of Canada`s wealthiest businessmen, is investing $5 million a month to develop an immense copper and gold deposit in the Gobi Desert, about 50 miles north of the border with China. His name is familiar in the mining world for the discovery of one of the world`s largest nickel deposits, in Labrador, and for a leaking dam that led to the cyanide pollution of a 17-mile stretch of the Alamosa River in Colorado.

His copper project in Mongolia, known as Oyu Tolgoi or Turquoise Hill, is tentatively scheduled to start production in 2006. Right now, 13 drilling rigs are busy probing and mapping the ore deposits, about a quarter-mile below the desert surface. Geologists estimate that there are some 21 million ounces of gold and 17 million tons of copper there.

These estimates, audited by an outside company, AMEC, make it one of the largest copper finds in the world, ranking with major mines in Argentina, Chile and Indonesia. The release of the estimates last July caused Ivanhoe`s stock to double, and eased Mr. Friedland`s task of lining up financing for the $900 million cost of developing the mine. Its potential output of $1 billion a year would double Mongolia`s gross national product.

"Ivanhoe remains poised to take advantage of the single most important theme in mining today: China," HSBC analysts wrote last month in a report on the company.

Mongolia has gone from being the middle of nowhere to an epicenter of prospecting attention because of the rapid rise of Chinese manufacturing. To supply its factories, China stepped up imports of copper concentrate, needed for all kinds of electrical wiring, household plumbing, motors, computer parts and other uses, by 40 percent in the first half of 2003, and there is no sign of slowing.

"There are 500 million people in southern China who want an air-conditioner," Mr. Friedland said. "Mongolia is in the catbird seat."

In Soviet times, Mongolia was closely aligned with Moscow, and it has long been historically skittish of its immense neighbor to the south, so there were few major trade links between it and China until recently. This year, though, Mongolia agreed to allow a Chinese-gauge railroad to be built to Oyu Tolgoi. By December, China is to finish a 140-mile highway to the border near the mine.

Hoping to put Mongolians at ease, China`s new president, Hu Jintao, visited Ulan Bator in June, stressing that China has no territorial claims on Mongolia and announcing $300 million in aid for more infrastructure projects.

Mr. Friedland also thinks Mongolia can relax.

"We come from Canada, a big cold country that exports raw materials to a southern neighbor," he said. "We are showing the Mongolians they don`t surrender their sovereignty by being a major supplier to China."

      Good luck

Magnum To Retrieve Drill Targets With Additional Work Programs
Monday October 6, 9:20 am ET
      TRADING SYMBOL (OTCBB: MAGR)

TORONTO, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Mr. Reno J. Calabrigo, President of Magnum d`Or Resources Inc. (Magnum), a junior resource exploration development Company had previously announced (September 22, 2003) that it engaged Rio Minerals Ltd. to conduct an initial work program on the Shandi property in Mongolia, consisting of a reconnaissance trip identifying and clarifying data already existing about the Shandi property. The focus and initial work program on the Shandi property was stated to identify areas of interest primarily for gold mineralization along the Undershil deep fault, which is considered to be the most significant structure for gold mineralization of this region.
Magnum would like to clarify and announce an addition to the Shandi work program. A more aggressive work program will also commence on the two recently acquired properties as a result of recent interpretation of the information in the reports. The work program will focus on conducting additional sampling in key areas of interest already identified on the two additional properties. Similarly, trenching and IP work when concluded will more than likely identify Magnum`s first drill targets. Calabrigo stated, " We will further announce details from the first reports as the work program commences, and release a time line of approximate dates as results are made available".

As previously stated, with the onset of these work programs, Magnum will satisfy its underlying agreement with the Shandi property by fulfilling initial work program requirements resulting in a 60% interest secured by the Company. Through the completion of the additional expenditures on the two adjacent properties, Magnum will further satisfy the first phase of the agreement. Moreover, at the completion of these expenditures, Magnum will secure a 40% interest on the two adjacent properties 12 months before the initial expenditure is required to be made.

It´s so easy.

Magnum announces results from recently acquired properties in Mongolia
Thursday October 9, 9:09 am ET
      TRADING SYMBOL (OTCBB: MAGR)

TORONTO, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Reno J. Calabrigo, President of Magnum d`Or Resources Inc. (Magnum), a junior resource exploration development Company is pleased to announce that it has received two reports on the two recently acquired property licensees bordering Magnum`s current Shandi property. The two property licenses will be referred to by license numbers 4767X and 4768X.
Mr. Calabrigo reports these property licenses were explored earlier this year through the conduction of reconnaissance geological investigations as well as general prospecting which in part revealed the identification of two mineralized zones of interest, the East Zone located within license 4767X and the North Zone located within license 4768X.

The East Zone, (license 4767X) "The Undur Shil Property"
In a recent report conducted from an initial work program the following

      developments were made:
The East Zone is a massive epithermal-magnetite occurrence giving elevated nickel and cobalt values and is associated with a local geophysical high. The East Zone may be representative of a porphyry/skarn occurrence. A recent exploration program was able to reconfirm some of the previous government reported results.

Six rock samples (181902, 181903, 181904, 181913, 181914 and 181919) were taken on a newly discovered massive magnetite system located at a contact between a gabbro and a limestone at 45 degrees 04` 39.4"/108 degrees 25` 11.4". In an effort to gain an understanding, the extent of the epithermal magnetite of the area was geologically mapped. Based on present understanding, the current surface expression of the epithermal magnetite zone measures approximately 600 meters x 150 meters.

Geological mapping revealed hydrothermal alteration associated with a local topographic high. Sample number 181913 is of particular interest since it is essentially massive magnetite, which may be indicative of possible economic mineral potential. Field observations recognized the possibility other sulphides may be present in sample 181913, but they are aphanitic. In an effort to understand the minerals present in 181913 microscopic ore petrology needs to be carried out. The microscopic ore petrology will identify the minerals present and may lead to a possible genetic relationship for the minerals present.

In addition the East Zone Epithermal Magnetite Zone is a coincident with a geophysical high extending in an east west direction for 5 kilometres. The area of geophysical high was not fully explored and necessitates the need for more geological work.

The six samples in the East Zone-Epithermal-Magnetite Zone yielded some interesting assay values see table 1 below.

The assay values numbers above gave slightly elevated manganese value (277-713 ppm), possible slightly elevated iron (Fe% 2.8-3.4), elevated chrome (195-495 ppm), and elevated nickel (247-1224 ppm) suggesting a geological event that allowed the concentration of the above elements.

      Concluding remarks:

It was stated that the massive magnetite may represent some type of classic textbook porphyry occurrence (skarn). There are several factors leading to this conclusion, the fact the gabbro intrudes into a relatively impure limestone, the presence of stockwork in exposed outcrops, and the elevated manganese and iron values (which may be indicative of manganese and iron rich minerals). Furthermore, the interpreted continental margin and island arch geology are indicative of possible porphyry occurrence. At present, the above interpretation is based on a limited number of assay values and a cursory inspection of the occurrence. The author of the report is cautiously optimistic about the above results. However, additional work needs to be carried out.

The Undur Shil property has several encouraging geological factors for the presences of economic mineral potential.

Firstly, the property is located on two documented metallogenetic belts, (Olziit & South Mongolian) which are associated with a major fault (Trans Mongolian Liniment). Typically major faults are associated with minor faults allowing the movement of fluids hence the concentration of economic mineralization.

Secondly, the East Zone magnetite epithermal zone is prospective due to several factors which include: the assay values, the nature of the epithermal alteration exposed at surface (600x150meters in size), the associated geophysical high, and a favourable geological environment (island arc setting). These factors lead to conclusion the East Zone may represent some type of porphyry occurrence, which may extend at depth.

Thirdly, the numerous igneous intrusive events throughout the property are associated with faults and alteration, all of which are classic textbook examples for economic mineral occurrences. The scope of the current program did fully address all the igneous intrusive events. Hence, they need to be fully investigated to determine if there is any economic potential.

Fourthly, the current exploration program just scratched the surface with 12 analytical samples taken on area of in excess of 130,000 hectares. The low sample density is insufficient to measure the true mineral potential of property. Therefore, there may be undiscovered mineralization on the property.

The above factors lead to the conclusion the Undur Shil property requires more geological work to test the economic mineral potential. Hence, based on the current understanding of the Undur Shil property the following the recommendations are put forth.

The North Zone, (license 4768X) "The Undur Shil Property"
In a recent report conducted earlier this year from an initial work

program the following developments were made:
Field investigations resulted in the discovery of the "North Zone" which is identified as an area of mineral potential. The exploration program resulted in encouraging assay values from sample number 181925, which realised copper and gold values of 0.1405% and 213 ppb respectively. Other areas, which showed potential for mineral exploration, were also identified.

Several mineral occurrences were noted during previous investigations by Russian and Mongolian state geologists (Sanjaadorj. et al 1988). These occurrences were followed up, located when possible, mapped and sampled.

The exploration work on License number 4768X resulted in a total of 13 analytical samples collected, of which 11 are rock samples, and two are panned concentrates.

The following are a few highlighted samples of interest:

      North Zone-Quartz Vein System

Two rock samples, 181920, 181921, were taken in a Riphean granite (Y1R1) in an area of a quartz vein system located at 45 degrees 09` 33.2"/108 degrees 14` 07.2". Sample 181921 is taken in the quartz vein and sample 181920 is a course-grained altered granite located between two quartz veins.

Table 2. Assay Values for Quartz Vein System.

      -------------------------------------------------------------------------
      181921 0.8 4 2 7 10 142 18
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------

The above assay results in table 2 indicate the two samples taken did not contain values of interest. However, the area has an extensive quartz system and mafic dykes (not sampled) which require detailed exploration to test the areas mineral potential.

      NORTH ZONE-SAMPLES 181909 AND 181925

Two rock samples, 181909 and 181925 were taken in the lower Proterozoic metamorphic granito-geneiss associated with migmatization. Field descriptions described the samples as Rhyolite and Crystal Tuff respectively. The two samples are approximately 200 meters apart and yielded different results.

Table 3. Assay values for 181909 and 181925.

      ------------------------------------------------------------------
      181925 10 27 93 0.1 77 4 16 213
      ------------------------------------------------------------------

Sample 181909 appears to have returned assay values of little interest, whereas sample 181925 yielded positive results. The copper (Cu) values of 1405 ppm (0.1405%) and gold (213 ppb) in sample 181925 are positive. At this point it is premature to develop a geological model based on these two samples; however the author is optimistic about the results generated from sample 181925. Further work is required to fully explore this mineral occurrence.

      Concluding remarks:

The Undur Shil property possesses several encouraging geological factors, which enhance the possibility of the presence of economic mineralization.

The property is located on two documented metallogenetic belts, the Olziit & South Mongolian that are associated with a major fault, the Trans Mongolian Liniment. Typically, major faults are associated with minor faults allowing the movement of fluids, hence the concentration of mineralization.

The North Zone (an intrusive complex) has an area in excess of 10 square kilometres and is composed of several intrusive events, which are associated with a fault system. This zone includes the molybdenite showing, the quartz vein system, and anomalous sample number 181925. The limited number of samples taken in the molybdenite showing and quartz vein system failed to yield elevated assay values; however, the geological environment is favourable for mineralization. Sample 181925 yielded promising copper (0.1405 %) and gold (213 ppb) values and represent the best values located on the property to date.

The numerous igneous intrusive events throughout the property are associated with faults and alteration, all of which are good examples of possible economic mineralization. The scope of the reconnaissance program did not fully address all the igneous intrusive events and they should be further investigated to determine their economic potential.

The initial exploration program was reconnaissance in nature with 13 analytical samples taken on area in excess of 35,000 hectares. This low sample density is insufficient to measure the true mineral potential of a property. Undiscovered mineralization may be present on the property.

Mr. Calabrigo also reports that first assays will be expected in mid November 2003, followed up with a report including the rest of the geological data findings and IP results.
