WizCom Data Center Fact Sheet

The 236,000 sq. foot Cendant Data Center campus is located in the Tech Center of Denver, CO and provides coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The campus is N+1 redundant including a Remote Operations Center.
The Data Center hosts 20 enterprise mainframes that is able to process 12,892 MIPS (e.g 12+ billion instructions per second). WizCom utilizes one (1) mainframe CPU (1) IBM 2064-1C7 that is able to process over 1.2 billion instructions per second.
There are 1,500+ Open Systems servers (Unix, NT/Windows, Linux), 300+ routers ans switches and 105+ firewalls (Sidewinder & Nokia), including servers running 90 major web sites that receive over 25 million page hits daily. WizCom System utilizes approximately 20 Web/Application/DB servers and 40 Gateway/Network servers. We offer fully redundant high availability and load balancing solutions.
The Cendant Data Center is able to process over:
10,000 messages per second with a 3-second response time (Worldwide)
350 million transactions per day
Disk storage capacity of 213 terra bytes of “mirrored” data on EMC and IBM units.
The Data Center tape library complex consists of the Magnetic Tape Library (over 200,000 2.54 gigabytes tape cartridges), Automated Tape Library (Dual Robotic handlers holds 4,000 256 track Tape Cartridges @114GB = 456 terabytes of data) and Virtual Tape Library (288 GB of cache x 4 units, 864 GB of cache x 4 units. Transfer rate is speed of ESCON (50/MB/Sec. on TPF, 100Mb/Sec. on MVS). The combined tape storage capacity of the tape complex is 611 TB of storage. Cendant stores data back-up tapes at an off-site facility.
Cendant monitors communication lines for over 20,000 locations worldwide. These include:

Cendant has a worldwide TCP/IP Network, VPN and dial-up capability.
Cendant supports over 20,000 users in over 100 countries worldwide.

Multiple perimeter fences, security cameras, card-key access, round-the-clock patrols and stringent access controls, both to and within each building provide Data Center site security.
The Cendant Data Center is protected from interruption of:
Fire -Fully protected fire suppression system with both dry and wet systems
Power - Full back-up and redundant sources of electrical power capable of sustaining normal computer room operations.
