Was meint ihr? Kauft ihr nach, falls ihr investiert seit?

Bin jetzt dabei. Geht bestimmt bald wieder Richtung Norden, -35% waren wirklich eine Übertreibung.
Leicht im Plus! 1,31%
MACROMEDIA könnte heute über 20 US$ gehen. Die Shorties werden für einen Short-Squeeze sorgen!!!
Macromedia Extends JRun Channel Distribution Agreement with NEC
Monday October 27, 7:32 am ET
Three-year agreement enables approachable, affordable J2EE solution
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 2003--Macromedia (Nasdaq:MACR - News) today announced the extension of a strategic distribution agreement with NEC that builds on its successful channel sales and integration of Macromedia JRun 4. The three-year contract will continue NEC`s successful track record of getting developers to adopt JRun as a base product for their various web application solutions. Since its introduction, more than 10,000 organizations have chosen JRun because of its ability to help make J2EE technology accessible, approachable, and affordable.
"Macromedia believes there is an obvious need for affordable, approachable, no-hassle J2EE solutions like JRun, and the success of our partnership with NEC is evidence of that fact. By extending the agreement the two companies have shown their commitment both to the JRun product line and to this important market," said Norm Meyrowitz, president of products, Macromedia. "We remain committed to open standards and the future of Java technology, including support for the J2EE 1.4 specification when it is released."
"We`re excited that Macromedia JRun is now the basis for our ActiveGlobe application server product line, and that it also powers NEC applications including our Cultiiva II e-learning and StarOffice offerings," said Kiyoshi Yoneda, general manager of Internet Software Division, NEC. "We expect that JRun will not only help to lower the total cost for our customers, but will also provide them with the flexibility that they need."
Macromedia recently renewed its Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) licensing agreement with Sun Microsystems, Inc. Macromedia embeds JRun in both the Macromedia ColdFusion MX and Macromedia Breeze product lines and relies on JRun to power the macromedia.com corporate website. Macromedia JRun was also cited as Best Web Services / Enterprise Application Integration Solution at the SIIA Codie Awards.
Macromedia is an elected member of the Java Community Process Executive Committee, which is comprised of 16 companies charged with leading the community of developers and vendors in creating future standards for the Java platform. Macromedia is also active in a number of Java Specification Requests (JSRs) committees that shape the actual descriptions of proposed and final specifications for the Java platform.

Schlußkurs 17,97 USD, also +4,46%!!

CSFB kept their Overweight rating on the Enterprise Software industry and said they would be buyers of ADBE and MACR, noting that the stocks` weakness may be attributed to weak NPD sell-through data. The firm forecasted higher sales and earnings for Q4 and recommended buying these stocks on any weakness. They expect significant q/q growth in November`s numbers, but a much harder comp in December. CSFB kept ADBE ($50 price target) and MACR ($25) at Outperform.

Das sieht doch sehr gut aus!! Momentum ist schon wieder positiv und der MACD klar auf dem Weg nach oben. Das Gap könnte unmittelbar geschlossen werden.

Sun and Macromedia Bring the World of Flash Content and Applications to Sun`s New Java Desktop System
12/3/2003 2:29:32 AM
BERLIN, SunNetwork 2003 Conference and Pavilion, Dec 03, 2003 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via Comtex/ -- Sun Microsystems, Inc. (SUNW) and Macromedia (MACR) , today announced an agreement to integrate and ship Macromedia Flash Player 7 with the Java(TM) Desktop System. As part of the agreement, Macromedia Flash Player will be pre-installed into Mozilla -- a popular open source browser, a key component of the Java Desktop System -- allowing users to conveniently view Flash content "out of the box," without having to download and install the player separately.
Flash Player offers Java Desktop System users the same experience of viewing rich, interactive multimedia content and applications currently enjoyed on an estimated 453 million personal computers worldwide. The Flash Player makes it possible to deliver consistent and highly effective digital experiences, ranging from brand-building web sites to enterprise-class rich Internet applications. Innovative designers rely on the integrated motion graphics, audio, and video capabilities of Flash Player to engage users in ways not possible with conventional web technology. Application developers use the Macromedia Flex presentation server in conjunction with Flash MX Professional 2004 to deliver rich, intuitive user interfaces for enterprise applications based on the Sun Java(TM) 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE(TM)) platform. This agreement provides further evidence that Sun and its partners are committed to providing the best-in-class media playback and rich Internet application technology to enrich the customer experience within a lower cost and more secure desktop environment.
"Macromedia and Sun have had a long alliance as shown by the availability of Flash Player on the Solaris(TM) platform. It`s natural for Macromedia to work closely with Sun to enable the millions of sites that are enriched with Flash content to work on Sun`s new desktop system," said David Mendels, senior vice president, Macromedia. "Flash technology has become essential to today`s web designers and developers, allowing them to quickly create compelling interactive content and applications that attracts users to sites and keeps them coming back. Key to its success is broad distribution of Flash Player on all key platforms, including Sun`s new Java Desktop System."
"Sun is redefining the desktop market with the introduction of Java Desktop System, an integrated, familiar, secure desktop solution for the enterprise market," said Jonathan Schwartz, executive vice president, Software, Sun Microsystems, Inc. "When we looked at the key media that needed to be supported with our new desktop, it was very clear that the popularity of Flash on the web required integration. Rich multimedia content is a key component of desktop experiences today; we are excited to see Macromedia`s endorsement of Sun`s desktop offering and commitment to providing one of the most popular media and interactive application runtimes on our platform."
