spannend, wie sich die aktie entwickeln wird. eine kurschance bietet sie allemal. dieses kanadische unternehmen sucht nach erdöl in lateinamerika, afrika und uzbekistan. eigentlich sollten sie bald fündig werden. dann steht einer vervielfachung der aktie nichts mehr im wege. einstweilen kann man in ruhe kaufen - bei dem niveau von rund 20 cent kann man nicht allzu viel falsch machen. die aktie ist noch gänzlich unbekannt und erst seit kurzer zeit in deutschland gelistet. hauptbörse ist die ebenfalls noch unbekannte cnq in kanada.

Quadra Resources Corp. (“Quadra”(QDRA.U – CNQ) today announced that Quadra has
completed its full technical review of its drilling results of the B-1X-ST discovery well located in
the Cesar Basin in northeast Colombia. Mr. Michael Nugent, President, stated “After an
exhaustive technical review of our recent drilling activities on the B-1X discovery well, including
e-logs analysis, lithological studies and additional input from highly regarded geo-scientific
consultants, we continue to be extremely encouraged by the prospects of a significant natural gas
accumulation in at least two zones in the Becerill structure on our 100% owned 256,000 acre
Iraca Association Contract block. Based upon our findings, we have concluded that Quadra will
aggressively pursue its drilling plans in the area for 2004.” Quadra will be drilling the first of a
three well drilling program during the summer period and expects to case, complete and test the
B-2X well prior to the end of September, 2004. Additionally, Quadra will shoot a combined 2D
and 3D seismic program to further delineate the nearby Salispuedes and Tucuy structures which
indicate similar if not greater potential for hydrocarbon accumulations. Quadra has recently
reviewed its gas marketing opportunities from the area and is comfortable with the terms that can
be reached to begin production as early as the first or second quarter of 2005 should a commercial
discovery be made. All the drilling prospects are within 5 kilometers of existing natural gas
mainline infrastructure which transports up to 200 million cubic feet per day of natural gas to
major industrial, commercial and residential communities of Colombia. The pipeline presently
has available capacity in excess of 100 million cubic feet per day.
Mr. Nugent further stated “The drilling of B-2X and our follow-up exploration and development
plans for the Cesar Basin is indicative of our commitment to Colombia and our ongoing desire to
find and develop world-class reserves at the lowest possible finding and producing costs.”

Die Mepfehlung in "Focus Money" habe ich auch gelesen - und natürlich (wie einfach man doch zu manipulieren ist...) versucht, welche zu order, was natürlich fehl schlug.
Nach der Empfehlung kam es dann ( nach 16.30 Uhr - wenn die "Focus Money-Leser" Feierabend haben ) zu den wahnsinnigen Kurssteigerungen...

Trotzdem sicherlich interessant das Ganze !

der focus-money-bericht hat die gierigen wohl auf den plan gerufen. dabei geht es in dem bericht nur um die genehmigung in uzbekistan. die bohrankündigung in kolumbien wird mit keinem wort erwähnt.
kursanstieg macht angst: 100 prozent in wenigen tagen- allerdings bei miniumsätzen.

habe am Donnerstag zu 0,15 gekauft. Bisher 166% Plus. Überlege ob ich jetzt nicht erst mal zu 0,40 verkaufe. Andererseits ist das Potenzial riesig wenn auch noch Usbekistan die Lizenz erteilt.
Wißt Ihr vielleicht, wie man an den Kurs der kanadischen Börse rankommt?

sicher, 166 prozent in ein paar tagen ist ordentlich. aber da geht sicher noch mehr. schwierig zudem, die teile derzeit zu (ver)kaufen, weil die liquidität in ffm noch sehr gering ist.

Möchte nur allzu gern mal wissen, wer sich hier die anderen 100% Gewinn einsteckt. Vermute, es sind die Makler, die sich die Stücke billig aus Ca. holen.
Nunja, die Ordertiefe in Ca. lässt erkennen, das wir uns bald der 0,03 € nähern.
Scheint also nicht geklappt zu haben mit dem Projekt in Usbekistan.

Auch ich muss an dieser Stelle sagen, dass ich für einige gute Beiträge einmal Danke sagen muss.
Sicherlich ist dies ein Zocker-Wert, dessen Aktien ich auch nach einer Kaufempfehlung der Zeitschrift "Focus Money" in Deutschland gekauft habe.
Erst durch einige Beiträge hier bin ich auf die Differenzen zur Notiz in Kanada aufmerksam geworden.
Es gab nur eine Möglichkeit - nämlich raus mit den Aktien.
Dass wir deutsche Anleger gerne zocken und deshalb auch leicht ausgenommen werden, ist ein offenes Geheimnis.
Mich stört allerdings, dass Zeitschriften wie "Der Aktionär" oder "Focus Money" z.T. Empfehlungen ungeprüft aussprechen.
Ein Warnhinweis zur Notizdifferenz zwischen Deutschland und Kanada hätte mit in den Bericht gemusst.

hatte diese Aktie auch auf die Empfehlung hin gekauft allerdings noch für 0,15 und sie zu 0,45 verkauft. hat sich also gelohnt. Trotzdem noch ein Hinweis. Der Kurs den ihr aus Kanada habt ist in USD und nicht in CAD. Somit ist der Unterschied nicht groß zwischen unserem und deren Kursen.

Vom Tagesumsatz in FF ( mit knapp 500.000 St. bis jetzt )
aus gesehen, scheint die Aktie derzeit aus ihrem Dornröschenschlaf zu erwachen.
In Kanada will keiner mehr zum Dumpingpreis abgeben.
Auch der Chart "zwingt" förmlich zum Einstieg!
All das wird aber "Schall und Rauch" bleiben, sollte das Vorhaben in Usbekistan scheitern.
Problem dabei ist: Sobald die positive Nachricht kommen sollte, wird man kein Stück mehr billig bekommen - kauft man aber jetzt (wie ich es getan habe) und die Nachricht kommt nicht oder negativ, sind Verluste unvermeidbar.
Fakt ist: Petrokazakhstan WKN 460189 hat mal genau so angefangen und die Aktie kostet jetzt über 20,- € !

Warten wir es ab!

ich habe mich mal bei QDRA schlau gemacht und direkt vom Vorstand eine interessante Antwort bekommen, vielleicht, weil ich selber auch im Bereich Investor Relations tätig bin. Wenn man auf Mr. Whitehead vertrauen darf, könnte es in den nächsten Tagen eine sicherlich ganz nette Rallye geben, momentan sind die Stücke sicherlich (wenn man sich des enormen Risikos bewusst ist) einen vertieften Blick wert.

war ja gestern aufgrund des Feiertages in Canada recht wenig los bei QDRA.

Bin mal gespannt wie es weiter geht, ich denke im Juli sind mindestens 0,18-0,24 Euro drin, bei schlechten oder keinen news allerdings auch leicht wieder 0,10.

Ich denke aber, dass der Vorstand eines im amerikanischen Raum gelisteten Unternehmens niemals solch eine Aussage treffen würde, wenn nicht etwas daran wäre.

Allen good trades, es gibt ja auch noch andere interessante Werte, bei QDRA muss ich allerdings gestehen, dass es seit langem mal wieder bei mir kribbelt.

Fand ich ehrlich gesagt nichtssagend, weshalb ich auch ein paar Fragen an den Kollegen Whitehead gemailt habe. Wenn ich Neuigkeiten habe, werde ich diese hier veröffentlichen, sollen schließlich alle die gleichen Chancen haben.

Die Kursentwicklung ist ja heute recht heiter, entgegen Canada gestern. Na, die News kamen ja auch erst nach Börsenschluss dort, und das bid sieht ja auch seit langem mal wieder recht ordentlich aus.

Ist schon kurios; einmal sind die Kurse in FFM erheblich über dem Pari gegenüber Canada (heute früh 0,139 €, dann sind sie plötzlich erheblich unter dem Pari (heute abend 0,121 €. Ich bleibe investiert (Kauf 0,125 vor Tagen)und denke mir: Der Boden ist m.E. bei 0,10 €, weiter herunter wird es m.E. nicht mehr bzw. nur unwesentlich gehen. Die Chancen sind dagegen erheblich gößer. Warum eigentlich war der Kurs bis über 0,4 € gesprungen. Welche News gab es damals ? Wer weiß dazu etwas ?

Ganoub el-Wadi Petroleum Company (Ganope), the subsidiary of the Petroleum Ministry responsible for upstream and downstream development in Upper Egypt, is preparing to submit to the ministry a pre- feasibility study for the construction of an estimated $ 250 million oil refinery at Edfu, to the south of Luxor. A second study is also being prepared for a proposed 150-kilometre-long pipeline to connect the 50,000-barrel-a-day (b/d) plant to oil facilities at Sohag in the north.

"If the ministry accepts the proposal we will hire a professional company to conduct a full feasibility study, as there is still a possibility that we can enlarge the scope to 100,000 b/d," says Ganope chairman Hassan Akl. "We are probably looking mostly to the domestic market, but there are likely to be some export opportunities as well."

Ganope is preparing to open in late May a new bid round for exploration blocks in the south, following strong international interest in three blocks tendered in July last year. Quadra Egypt, a joint venture of British Virgin Islands-based Quadra Resources and local Rampex Petroleum International, has been awarded exploration rights to block 1, which covers a 30,028-square-kilometre area in the eastern Komombo region. Parliamentary approval for the agreement is expected in the second half of 2004. Under the terms of the agreement, Quadra is required to spend a minimum of $ 11 million on exploration in the first eight years of operation and will be required to relinquish 25 per cent of the acreage to Ganope two years after signing the agreement, and a further 25 per cent after five years.

"The concession is accompanied by 4,000 square kilometres of 2D seismic, covering less than 20 per cent of the above-mentioned acreage," the company said in a statement. "The preliminary evaluation made by the corporation has concluded that the area is a part of a newly discovered Mesozoic rift system, of the same type and potential as those producing in Sudan" (MEED 13:2:04).

habe leider immer noch keine Rückmeldung aus Toronto, kann aber auch ein gutes Zeichen sein. Laut nordamerikanischer Aktiengesetzgebung dürfen wichtige News gemäß der fair disclosure Regel nur an sämtliche Investoren/Analysten gleichzeitig weitergegeben werden.

Bei uns dauert so etwas (aufgrund der ganzen Koordination und letzter Abstimmungen mit Anwälten ect.) auch immer eine ganze Weile...

Ich betrachte das Ansteigen der Kurse hier und dort bei zunehmenden Volumina jedenfalls als sehr gutes Zeichen. Wenn der Dollarkurs nicht so besch... wäre, könnte mein Kursziel schon erreicht sein. Interessant ist auch die Tatsache, dass QDRA bei der Ausgabe von Wandeloptionsanleihen einen Ausgabekurs von 0,10 USD unterstellt hat (so geschehen zu Beginn dieses Jahres) sich aber vertraglich gleichzeitig bis zu einem Kurs von 0,50 USD (den sie dann wohl auch selber erwarten) abgesichert hat.

capital management; however, your Board of Directors and Management are
committed to overcoming these challenges and making Quadra stand apart
from its competitors. In order to succeed, we recognized the need to
attract and assemble world-class talent and I am proud to say that we have
accomplished this task. Our personnel, both in management and at the board
level, represent a truly international approach to the business of energy
exploration. Members of your team have been exposed to almost all of the
major energy producing regions in the world with active experience in all

Your Company has secured projects in distinct regions of the world that
have demonstrated large, world-class reserve potential, low exploration
and development costs per barrel and are strategically located in
proximity to necessary infrastructure. These countries have rapidly
growing domestic markets and have demonstrated stable, democratic
governments together with excellent fiscal terms.

During 2003, we have focused on developing our Colombian asset and
securing a second opportunity that would balance our exploration
activities in Colombia. In Colombia, the Company drilled its first
commitment well during the fall season and although we experienced
significant difficulties in the completion stage of the operation, we can
confidently characterize our efforts as very successful with a level of
encouragement that reached beyond our expectations. As a result of the
well, we plan to expeditiously begin an aggressive development program
that will include the drilling of at least two deliverability wells in
early 2004. We expect that the Colombian project will be on-stream by the
end of 2004 producing our first cash flow from this region. Additionally,
we have geologically and seismically identified three additional
structures on our 256,000 acre Block, including some deeper, highly
prospective formations, which will provide substantial reserve growth
opportunities in the near future.

As I mentioned earlier, our second strategic opportunity exists in
Uzbekistan where the long running democratic government recently enacted
legislation to open its borders to international business. Negotiating
contracts of this nature is an arduous and time-consuming task. Since
Chase is one of the vanguard companies in Uzbekistan, we are fully aware
of the fact that we are helping to create the model from which all future
Joint Venture Agreements (JVA) will be issued by the Government of
Uzbekistan. It is therefore necessary for us to be "on the ground in
Tashkent" to establish close contact with Uzebekistan representatives and
provide daily input to the various government agencies as they develop
their standards for JVA`s. I am pleased to report that Chase`s
negotiations are proceeding according to plan and we expect to receive the
necessary approvals in due course. At our Annual General and Special
Meeting of the Shareholders to be held on December 19, 2003, we will be
presenting to our shareholders a detailed explanation of the opportunity
to participate in Uzbekistan through the purchase of all of the issued and
outstanding shares of Chase Energy B.V.

In summary, if we are successful in the foregoing initiatives, your
Company could, within the next four to five years, post reserves in the
magnitude of several hundred million barrels of oil equivalent from these
two project areas. Our potential for explosive growth, however, must be
strategically managed. It is quite clear to us that we must take a very
methodical approach to the development of these projects and while
expeditiously and aggressively pursuing same, we must be ever diligent in
making thoughtful and timely capital deployment decisions.

Since February 2003, the shares of the Company have been halted for
trading on the TSX Venture Exchange. The trading halt was imposed by the
Exchange as a result of our announcement of the pending purchase of Chase.
We have, as at this date, been unable to meet the demands of the Exchange
to re-list, principally the execution of the above mentioned JVA, and have
therefore sought alternative solutions for our shareholders. I am pleased
to report that the Company has been accepted for trading on the Canadian
Trading and Quotation System Inc. (www.cnq.ca). Quadra`s shares will trade
under a new trading symbol - "QDRA.U". We are very pleased to join the CNQ
and expect to commence trading the last week of November, 2003 and thereby
provide an active market for our existing and prospective shareholders.
This move will also allow your Company the opportunity to raise additional
capital required for ongoing development in both Colombia and Uzbekistan.
