Update your navigation system with the new Tele Atlas Refill packs
For drivers who want to be well-prepared and stress-free on the road during the winter period
Ghent, October 20, 2004
As the weather turns colder and wetter and the days shorten, safety becomes one of the most important topics for many drivers. People like to feel comfortable in the car. New, unknown destinations make them feel less at ease. A GPS navigation system can therefore bring back that feeling and take away any stress that might occur. According to research made by Tele Atlas, safety is one of the key driver motivations when opting for a GPS navigation system. Typical driver responses underline significant benefits. "A navigation system reinforces my confidence when I am in the car." "It removes tension and stress so that driving is more relaxed, more fun. You don?t need to ask for directions in a foreign language."
As 20 percent of the information on a navigation CD is new or updated with each release, investing in current issues is vital in retaining these safety and peace of mind benefits, which are especially important for the bad weather and dark days of the winter months. New releases are issued as often as twice a year. Maintaining the accuracy of the navigation system is equivalent to ensuring tyres are in good condition, checking the oil and making sure the radiator and screen wash reservoir have sufficient antifreeze.
For those drivers who wish to enjoy stress free driving, Tele Atlas has prepared a complete set of material this winter period: the Tele Atlas Refill Packs. They will be available from October until December through specialist dealers and from the Tele Atlas navshop.com. In this special offer, with savings of up to 45 percent, Tele Atlas is combining different packs to answer all the driver?s needs.
