Andrei Illarionov, an advisor to the Russian President on economy issues, thinks that the Yuganskneftegaz oil company will sooner or later be returned to its previous owners, the Interfax news agency reports.

Illarionov told a news conference in Moscow on Tuesday that he was sure that Yuganskneftegaz will be given back to its owners. “There is only one way for the country to build a respectable future — to return the company to its owner. More than that, I am sure that sooner or later it will happen,” Illarionov said, but added that it was difficult to say when it will happen and under what conditions.

On the other hand, the official said that he supported the idea of privatization of Rosneft and Yuganskneftegaz. “They must be privatized and they will be privatized, but it will not happen in the nearest future,” Illarionov said. He added that the move would be possible after precise and clear guarantees are presented that these companies can be sold openly and transparently.

Yuganskneftegaz, once the main production unit of the embattled Yukos oil company, was sold in a controversial auction to the state oil company Rosneft in December of last year. Yukos contested the move and on Wdnesday it was reported that the oil company had sent a letter to the Russian Finance Minister Aleksei Kudrin demanding the disclosure of all details of the Yuganskneftegaz auction.

Nein ich habe nichts gegen Media netc.Es stört mich nur was da alles für ein Unsinn geschrieben wird.Was zählt sind Fakten die begündet werden könnten.
