Hi

Guten Morgen liebe Frontliner,
sorry, erst schreiben, dann lesen, dann berichtigen

Hallo, pech gehabt dividende verpasst, schade schade, was beseutet eigentlich Quartalsdividende, bekommt man alle 3 Monate ne Dividende??

Frontline is returning to the takeover trail with an intriguing plan to bid for Bergshav Shipholding, the Norwegian shipping group.
The John Fredriksen company has agreed to spend $50m on acquiring 65.8% of the shares in Bergshav Holding and 21.9% in Bergshav Shipholding from members of the Bergshaven family.
These shares convey, directly and indirectly, a 60.2% stake in Bergshav Shipholding but only 21.9% of the votes.
If the purchase is completed, Frontline intends to make an offer for the remaining shares in Bergshav Shipholding at the same price.
But here Frontline’s move — a potential deal equivalent only to the price of a second-hand suezmax tanker — takes an interesting turn. The initial acquisition is conditional on other shareholders in Bergshav Holding and Bergshav Shipholding not exercising their pre-emption rights.
Yet reports in Norway indicate Atle Bergshaven, who is said to control almost 80% of the votes, is not interested in disposing of his holding.
Frontline said a clarification of the pre-emption rights issue was expected within four weeks.
One Norwegian analyst speculated the selling shareholders approached Frontline with an attractive price after a dispute between Bergshav’s owners. “Bear in mind this is a small investment for Frontline,” he explained.
“It may just be a good investment that Frontline can sell if it doesn’t secure full control.”
Grimstad-based Bergshav Shipholding is active in several market segments, mainly as a manager.
About 80% of the company’s asset value is in shuttle tankers and aframax tankers.
Frontline described Bergshav Shipholding as “well managed.”
The company had achieved “stable and solid” financial results with average annual net profit over the last six years of about NKr100m or $15m. It also had “a strong balance sheet with good contract coverage”.
The company’s cash position at Dec 31, 2004 was NKr477m.
“The agreed purchase price reflects that Frontline`s investment in Bergshav Shipholding AS, if completed, will be achieved at a substantial discount to the real asset values of the company.”
Bergshav Management’s website shows a fleet of 20 vessels, including six newbuildings.
Apart from tankers, the fleet list includes car carriers, containerships, ro-os and a cruise vessel, The World.
