Sehr intereeante Aktie, die von der Investmentgemeinde übersehen wurde. Metanor ist JV Partner von Halo, ist jedoch viel günstiger bewertet, hat ausreichend Cash in der Kasse und verfügt über ein hoch interessantes Portfolio von Gold- und Basemetalproperties.

Bachalor Property: Zusammenfassung
Interpretation and conclusions
1.) There are no land claim issues or ownership disputes pending with the Bachelor Lake property. The mining lands (claims and mining concessions) of the Bachelor Lake property are registered 100% to GEONOVA (a wholly-owned subsidiary of CAMPBELL). The claims are in good standing with the exception of one orphan claim located within the western part of the property block. The Bachelor Lake property is subject to a NSR Royalty to CONCOPPER.
2.) The surface infrastructures are in fairly good conditions but will require some modifications and rehabilitation in a near future. Those modifications and rehabilitation will be necessary if a major underground exploration program (from new exploration underground openings) or if mineral production is planned. This will represent major investments. These main issues are: the hoist that can not actually be use for hoisting rocks, the condition of the headframe will have to be re-evaluated or changed in function of the hoist, and eventually the mill if milling is planned on-site.
3.) There are actually no major environmental issue. WOLFDEN has the Authorization Certificate for dewatering the Bachelor Lake mine. The water is pumped from the underground workings into the tailing pond in conformity with the Authorization Certificate delivered by the "Ministère de l`Environnement". Because of the "temporary closing" status of the mine, no official response was given from the Québec`s "Service du développement minier" on the approval of a restoration plan for the mine site (proposal submitted in 1997). Environmental points will have to be raised and evaluated if milling is planned on-site. The dykes may have to be highten-up and the use of the tailing pond may have to be revised.
4.) The resources estimates have been established within reasonable parameters. The actual measured and indicated resources at Bachelor Lake amount to 421 139 st @ 0,287 oz/t Au. (Main vein: 315 109 st @ 0,273 oz/t Au; B vein: 78,913 st @ 0.339 oz/t Au; A vein: 27 117 st @ 0,288 oz/t Au). The actual inferred resources amount to 256 285 st @ 0,304 oz/t Au. (Main vein: 184 295 st @ 0,284 oz/t Au; B vein: 71 990 st @ 0,354 oz/t Au).The resources estimation was produced by GEOSPEX (1993-95), reviewed by ROCHE (1997) with the indicated resources reduced by a factor of 5% for the Main and B veins and where the inferred resources for the A vein were excluded. Subsequent studies of SNC-LAVALIN (1999) and MET-CHEM (2001) stated the exact same results. The Bachelor Lake project is characterized by a significant gold potential for the A vein (at depth) and for the B vein (laterally, above and at depth).
5.) Additional gold resources can be accessed from the Bachelor Lake underground workings on the Hewfran adjacent property (AUR property). The acquisition of this adjacent property also has to be evaluated and considered by METANOR in a near future.

Exploration program
The final acquisition has to be followed by a two-phase exploration program in order to confirm and re-assess the ore potential at Bachelor and discover additional resources.
Phase I - Exploration Program
The dewatering program initiated by WOLFDEN at the Bachelor Lake mine should be completed (actual planning is a complete dewatering for the end of February 2005).
A drilling program has to be planned from the existing underground access to test the resource blocks and their immediate vicinity. The drilling metrage required at this stage has to be evaluated in function of: (i) geological targets on the Main and A vein (at depth) and for the B vein (laterally, above and at depth), and (ii) accessibility from the existing underground openings. The geological interpretation and drill planning should to be done during the dewatering phase.
Actually, it is difficult to have a definitive total metrage for the drilling program. Considering the testing of targets at depth and that 40 new intervals from the known zones are required to confirm the resources and transferring it from the inferred category to measured and indicated categories, a preliminary amount of 12,000 m of diamond drilling has to be considered. The other point is, how many of those 12,000 m of drilling can be done from the existing underground openings. Part of this program may have to be completed in a phase II exploration program where new underground developments have to be considered.
In function of the Hewfran property acquisition, this area may also be drill in the phase I exploration program and from the existing underground access. As for the Bachelor Lake gold deposit, evaluation of the amount of diamond drilling should follow a geological interpretation and drill planning in function of the existing underground access. Preliminary, drilling on the Hewfran may represent an amount of 3,000m.
Phase II - Exploration Program
The second phase is conditional to the results of phase I. This exploration phase will require additional underground access in order to gain adequate drilling angle to define potential at depth.
At this stage, developments of additional underground access also mean investment in the Bachelor Lake mine haulage system (hoist and headframe).

BACHELOR LAKE PROPERTY
Das Bachelor Lake Objekt, das sich in Lesueur Township in der Abitibi Region von Quebec befindet, besteht aus 50 Bergbau-Claims und zwei Minenkonzessionen, die eine Gesamtfläche von 1840 Hektar abdecken. Das Bachelor Lake Objekt besitzt die zur Produktion erforderliche Infrastruktur: ein Büro, einen Laden, ein Dry, ein Kompressorraum, einen Headframe und eine Mühle mit einer Kapazität von 500 Tonnen pro Tag mit einer Anlage zur Zyanidlaugung und einem Brechwerk und den folgenden geschätzten Resourcen. Von 1982 bis 1989 wurde der Bergbaubetrieb von einem vorhergehenden Eigentümer durchgeführt. In dieser Zeit wurden ungefähr 958.360 Tonnen mit einem durchschnittlichen Grad von 0,15 oz/Tonne bis zur untersten Ebene der Mine (1723 feet) abgebaut. Zuvor durchgeführte Studien zeigten, dass die Verdünnung während des Abbaus im Durchschnitt zwischen 34 und 55% lag. Bohrungen von der untersten Ebene der Mine im Jahre 1990 zeigten, dass die "Hauptader" reicher und in der Tiefe breiter ist und entdeckten eine parallele Goldzone, die als "B-Ader" bezeichnet wurde. Beide Zonen sind in der Tiefe und in Streichrichtung offen. Bedeutende Bohrungskreuzungen (geschätzte wahre Breite -- 0,65 opt Au in der Hauptader und 1,0 opt Au in der B-Ader) beinhalten 0,504 opt Au über 12,5 feet, 0,49 opt Au über 10,0 feet, 0,268 opt Au über 25,0 feet und 0,397 opt Au über 25,0 feet und 0,397 opt Au über 16,0 feet in der B-Ader.

Lake Joint Venture property located near Desmaraisville, Quebec.
The resource was estimated using a block model and inverse square distance interpolation. An additional 13,346
meters of underground diamond drilling from 69 holes completed between April and July, 2005 as well as the
inclusion of the East and West Zone deposits located on the recently acquired, contiguous Hewfran property
comprise this new resource estimate. The resource estimate is summarized below:

Innovexplo Inc. Geological Services, an independent qualified consulting firm based in Val-d’Or, Quebec was
mandated by the joint venture partners to produce the resource estimate on the property where they have been
extensively involved in data acquisition, data management, geological interpretation, 3D modeling, QA/QC
analyses, basic statistics, variography studies and resources calculations. The geological interpretation of the
mineralized zones was carried out using transverse sections and also plan views. Results of the interpretation
were digitized and linked as 3D solids using Gems software. Wire frame solids were built for the six (6)
estimated zones. The database used for the resource estimate included 15,192 assay results from 394 diamond
drill hole records, and relies upon 3,684 composite intervals.
The estimate of measured resources incorporated information from underground mapping and face sampling
results. Indicated and inferred resources were determined from drill hole results using a block model approach.
Results from the resource estimate are presented undiluted and in-situ and some resource blocks may be locked
in pillars and unrecoverable.
The complete NI 43-101 technical report from Innovexplo describing the procedures and parameters involved in
the resource estimate will be filed by both companies and available on SEDAR within 30 days. The report states:
“Innovexplo by virtue of its calculated estimate of the project resource affirms the resource estimate in
accordance with NI 43-101 technical standards.”
Innovexplo is recommending a two-phase work program leading to the preparation of a feasibility study that will
confirm the economic viability of the mineral resource.
Halo and Métanor are both very pleased with the significant progress achieved at the Bachelor Lake Joint
Venture project to date, and are now discussing and planning the next phases of work. A surface drill program is
currently underway and is actively testing the western extension of the deposit near and across the historic
boundary between the Bachelor Lake and Hewfran properties. An in-house scoping study is being updated on
the basis of the new resource estimate and will be used as a basis for continued exploration and the design of
the feasibility study program.
