ANACONDA MINING MAKES $600,000 PRINCIPAL PAYMENT ON OUTSTANDING DEBT

Anaconda Mining Inc. has made another principal payment against the outstanding convertible loan, Series I debentures and Series II debentures. The principal payments totalled $600,000 and were divided pro rata across the loans. Since March 28, 2012, the company has made approximately $3.9-million in principal payments against the loans and reduced the outstanding balance from $6.9-million to $2,999,280.

President and chief executive officer, Dustin Angelo, stated: "Pine Cove is off to a good start in fiscal 2013. The company had budgeted to make the $600,000 payment from cash flow generated at the mine by the end of the first quarter and we have met that goal. We continue to be on course to pay off the remaining balance of these loans before the maturity date in September, 2013."

So lange kann´s jetzt nicht mehr dauern und dann sollte endlich mal was gehen. Nach meiner Zählleiter und dem Vergleich mit den Vorjahren müssten jetzt die nächsten Tage und Wochen ein paar news kommen: Jahresabschluss, Quartalsbericht, eventuell lässt man dann auch etwas über die Explorationsvorhaben heraus. Dann sollte doch mal was gehen.

To the bullboarder questioning the float size: SEE: for example:

St Augustine Gold and Copper SAU-T @ 325million shares plus. And there are many others such as Rambler that has over 145million shares outstanding. The positive here is that Anaconda doesn't or shouldn't have to go to the public or private markets to raise capital by share issuance again. If it keeps building up its capital net of the revenues produced from the Pine Cove operation, it will, ultimately have enough working capital to take on a larger project(s) in scope and breadth and/or acquire existing production. If anything, it may joint venture on a project but I don't think that we will have to return to the days of the past where start-up mining operations keep raising capital by issuing more and more paper. ANX is now a producer and as such if it plays its cards right, it should be able to grow organically as expenses drop/ounce of production and production remains at or near full capacity. ANX has the option of taking on some toll-milling contracts also to boost revenues but I would rather see them diversify into other resources such as copper, iron, silver and even uranium. It appears though that Dustin wants to remain a single-focused gold-play but I think that is short-sighted thinking. This is a long-term investment and eventually, the Company will break-through and its progress will be rewarded with greater credibility and a higher stock price.

The dean of Canada’s gold mining analysts, John Ing at Maison Placements, continues to pound the table for stocks in the sector, saying they’re “a terrific buy” at current depressed levels.

Mr. Ing’s latest missive to clients says the catalyst on the upside for producers will be the low value the market is assigning to reserves of gold in the ground.

By his calculation, investors are valuing reserves at the rock bottom price of only $400 an ounce on average, about a quarter of the market price. Something’s got to give, and he figures it will be a move up in price for the stocks.

“We continue to believe that gold stocks are not only a terrific buy at current levels but their reserves in the ground will be the reason for their phoenix-like rise,” he says.

Like all gold bugs, Mr. Ing cites the usual suspects for gold to rally further: fear of fiat currencies, financial instability, government deficits, and so forth.

In the sector, he figures the junior exploration plays will be laggards because the bear market for gold stocks has made it difficult for these outfits to get financing. The exploration stocks will rally, but won’t do so until the more senior and mid-tier producers have started to move upward.

A number of companies show promise and can be bought, he contends.

Did anyone have any problems opening the photos of the extended land holdings optioned from Fair Haven Resources? My computer won't open them and Newswire says they are not available yet.

Fundamental Research has published a "NOTE" about ANX to its own clients but it too cannot be opened yet unless you subscribe to FRC. But, it should be available soon. The analyst emailed me to indicate that he issued the note and reiterated his valuation of the stock as a "Strong Buy" with a current valuation of .20cents. He noted the new expansion of the land holdings making ANX one of the largest such miners in the entire region. Some of these properties are extremely close to Rambler's Ming's Bight Mine which is rich in gold and copper. Rambler is currently busy mining out the copper now which is easy and gets to futures market faster than gold. Their gold production has been huge considering that they have just recently started up.

Romeo and Juliette zone has already shown much higher grades than the Pine Cove zone so we should see this zone next to be mined.

"GOLD STOCKS TO SEE A 'PHOENIX-LIKE RISE' " based on a report by: John Ing.

Although gold prices have averaged lower this quarter than last, we should still see great numbers assuming that there has been no delays or shutdowns which I don't believe that there has been any. If production is up, then we should be able to compensate for the lower gold price.
