Answers.com's WikiAnswers Continues Strong Growth

Site Passes 400,000 Registered User Milestone


NEW YORK, November 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Answers Corporation (NASDAQ: ANSW - News), creators of the leading answer engine offering Answers.com(TM) and WikiAnswers.com(TM), announced today that WikiAnswers had reached a milestone of 400,000 registered contributors. According to ComScore, WikiAnswers had 5.189 million unique monthly US visitors in October, up from 4 million in September, or over 25% growth month over month.

"Dedicated, registered users are extremely valuable to a community site like WikiAnswers," said Bob Rosenschein, Chairman and CEO. "We're also pleased that in addition to these committed users, a notable part of the activity on WikiAnswers comes from anonymous users who choose a more casual relationship."

The company last reported, on November 6, that the rate of new registered users was almost 1,700 per day, on a weekly average, compared to around 150 last November. Less than a month later, this figure has exceeded 2,000 per day on a weekly average.

"On our recent conference call," continued Rosenschein, "we mentioned that average daily page views in Q3 were 700,000, and in October had reached 1.1 million. As we enter the final month of Q4, we've had weekdays that surpassed 1.6 million."

ComScore recently ranked WikiAnswers as the 2nd fastest growing site in the US, for the first nine months of 2007, based on unique monthly visitors, among the top 1,500 US sites.
