      Danke sunnyday....

musste ja was kommen vor der Vancouver Messe...
Leider kommen die Reports nun doch nicht so schnell.....

Bringing the Gladiator project up to a 1.2 km strike length puts BonTerra on track for its winter 2016/2017 drilling campaign. “We have a lot of work ahead of us,” said Dhaliwal, “We are looking to have up to three drills completing up to 25,000 meters of drilling to start filling in this large zone and the winter campaign should allow us to update our NI 43-101 Mineral Resource for the property late in the second half of 2017.”

BonTerra is currently evaluating the Larder Lake Project, and plans are underway for a new updated NI 43-101 and drill program up to 10,000 meters, to be completed in the first half of 2017.

“By the end of 2017, BonTerra has the opportunity to build two significant resources yielded a global gold resource portfolio approaching up to two to three million ounces of 43-101 compliant gold ounces on our two properties.” said Dhaliwal.

BonTerra: Expanding at the Gladiator Gold Deposit in the Abitibi

Bonterra Resources (TSX-V: BTR) currently is one of the most aggressive land stakers and explorers in the energized Urban-Barry Exploration Camp, but has been overlooked as the real potential winner and successful groups in the re-emerging Abitibi greenstone belt in Quebec. While attention has focused on Osisko Mining’s Windfall Lake Gold Deposit, Bonterra’s Gladiator project, literally right next door, has not received the same attention, even though the resource grade is higher in their 43-101 report and the size of the deposit continues to get much larger, growing from a strike length of ~200m to over 1,200m and a depth reaching over 650m.

“We’re doing things differently,” said Nav Dhaliwal Bonterra’s President and CEO. “We examined the Gladiator project in 2012 and quickly realized this deposit has significant potential. After completing a complete restructuring of the overall company in the depths of the dark dismal market, we completed an NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Technical report and started building our management team and board. We knew we needed a team with a strong technical background to uncover what we saw at Gladiator, and hence the team we have in place today.”

“In 2015, Oban Mining (now Osisko Mining (TSX: OSK) bought 19.9% of BonTerra as part of a strategic financing which raised $2.65 million. These funds were raised with one specific goal: build the Gladiator Deposit bigger around a large porphyritic intrusion recently found at depth, and quickly the vein systems started getting bigger, deeper, and the strike length was expanded nearly 500%, and we started hitting at depths 200-300% deeper.” said Dhaliwal.

By the Winter of 2015 Bonterra was receiving a steady stream of drilling results and in a press release in early 2016 Dale Ginn, VP of Exploration of BonTerra stated “This newly discovered intrusive, possibly porphyritic gold system was identified by intercepts of up to 155 m in length and grading between 0.4 g/t and 0.9 g/t Au. These large greenstone belt vein/porphyry associations are recognized in many gold deposits in the Abitibi Belt and around the world.”

For BonTerra the goal is to build out and prove up a larger resource, “We’re looking for a minimum of 1.5 to 2 million ounces,” said Dhaliwal. “We started with the 4 holes in 2015. The market quickly realized the potential and we raised additional capital with an oversubscribed private placement of $3.1 million in December of 2015, to add more drill rigs and 2016 delivered more promising results.”

2016 commenced with the addition of 20 more holes, which initially extended the strike length from 200 meters to 600 meters, and as the drill rig continued to turn, the strike length doubled again to 1.2 km and to a depth of 600 meters. The latest view keeps the deposit still open in all directions.

“We continue to add ounces in every hole, and building value with every turn of the drill rig.,” said Dhaliwal, “We continue to see the system getting bigger and finding new ounces. As Osisko Mining continues to focus on developing their Windfall project into a potential mine, 8 kilometers down the road lies our Gladiator project, getting bigger with very much comparable grade and size”.

Bonterra continues to extend the Gladiator zone. In an November 16, 2016 press release, the company announced a 250 meter Eastward extension of the zone and “multiple intersections of high grades and meaningful widths” including 5.5 meters grading 70 g/t. In this release Mr. Dhaliwal is quoted as saying Bonterra had reach two milestones: “A major extension of grade and width eastward and to depth, and a much better understanding of the excellent continuity and predictability of the west side leading us to add an additional drill rig with the intention of proving that the Gladiator Gold Deposit could exceed 1,000 meters in strike length.”

On December 8, 2016, the Company reported results which affirmed Dhaliwal’s earlier prediction. Drilling in what the company calls the “Rivage Gap”, which was a 500 meter untested section to the west of the Gladiator project, yielded new high-grade gold mineralization and Mr. Dhaliwal commented, “A re-interpretation by our geological team of the orientation of the Rivage Zone relative to the main zone has resulted in the confirmation that the Rivage is simply a strike extension of our Gladiator Deposit. This first attempt at joining the two zones has resulted in a significant strike extension to the Gladiator Gold Deposit.”

While BonTerra is focused on the Gladiator Project, in 2016 it also acquired the strategic Larder Lake Gold Property in Ontario from Kerr Mining.

“Kerr wanted to focus on its Arizona projects,” said Dhaliwal. “So we were able to acquire a property with a historical NI 43-101 resource estimate of approximately 955,000 ounces. It is a deposit open at depth, with over 100,000 meters of historical drilling done and logged. We acquired the property for less than $5 dollars an ounce Canadian. As you know, Kerr comes with strategic shareholders including Eric Sprott, and they see the opportunity at the Gladiator Project.

The market is just beginning to understand the BonTerra story. “We continue to see stronger interest from major mining companies, and as the drill continues to build out Gladiator, the ounces, upside and the overall value of BonTerra continues to grow for our shareholders.,” said Dhaliwal, “The drill bit is telling the truth of what lies beneath our large land position in the Urban-Barry camp. 2017 will be our biggest year yet!”

At time of writing BonTerra was trading at $0.25 with 91.3 million shares outstanding and a market cap of 23 million dollars. Average trading volume is approximately 300,000 shares a day. Dhaliwal is looking forward to 2017.

couldn't agree more on your post. That being said I noticed Frank Holmes of US Global have increased their position significantly along with a few other big names. I wonder if drill results will magically appear :laugh: (finde ich gu) this week in line with the conference agenda
