      Danke Fire für Deine Recherchen und Ausführungen. Das läßt ja alles hoffen. Zeigt auch, daß man nicht kurzfristig denken darf und solche Entwicklungen sicher Jahre brauchen.
      Fazit ist immer noch, die Volvoinegration und die vielen anderen Mosaiksteine machen es sehr wahrscheinlich, daß man seine Aktien ruhen lassen kann und erst in 5 Jahren nachschauen sollte. Auf jeden Fall wird der Kurs dann deutlich höher liegen und wahrscheinlich jede Festgeldanlage übertreffen.

      Some private universities have decided to reach out their hands to these students.

Its "student subsidies" system was established in 2002. Over the past eight years, it has helped hundreds of students enter and graduate from college.

      "Serving as China's largest privately-owned car manufacturer, GEELY launched the brands of Gleagle, Emgrand and Englon on the basis of promoting cars that were innovated and developed domestically, or "self-owned". After its takeover of Volvo, GEELY's strategy of a multi-brand layout appeared to be more complete.

      The launch of Englon last November formally marked GEELY's entrance into the world of multi-brand ownership.

      The three brands under GEELY have a divisional organization system, as well as operating systems that are totally independent. The integration of the three brands' network channels has been finished, with an impressive 95 percent renewal rate on dealers.

      Liu Jinliang, vice president of GEELY, was present during GEELY's tough embryonic period, but also saw the growth of GEELY auto. In 2010, braced by the three new brands, GEELY achieved its yearly sales target of 412,000 cars, an increase of 25.8% year-on-year.

      The self-owned brand auto company's execution of a multi-brand strategy was seen as a challenge to the "brand ceiling" difficulty. For years, many firms saw it as difficult to remove the "low price and low quality" image, and viewed themselves as competitive only below a threshold of 100,000 yuan per unit. Breaking through the confines of brand assumptions has been a formidable challenge for self-owned auto companies.

      Along with the exploration of joint-venture brands in the low-end market, GEELY has also explored other avenues of maximizing its presence in the auto world. Its multi-brand strategy expresses the desire of improving brand image, developing the high-end market, and comprehensively covering the market with a diversity of brands.

      Experts have stated that, "one business group, multi-brand, sharing platform" can economize development costs, muscle rivals out of the market, and also dilute market risk.

      Early in 2007, GEELY commenced activities to develop a new vehicle-logo, as a part of unfolding its brand transition. GEELY began its transition to global brands by actions including cooperation between SMA and Englon and a series of products under Emgrand.

      Beginning with its first day, GEELY committed itself to making the most affordable car for ordinary people. Relying on the strategy of "low price, lower-end", it seized the market quickly. However, the lower-end image became a bottleneck in the firm's process of development.

      Frank Zhao, a famous mechanical expert in auto development, planned a platform development strategy for GEELY after he joined the company, after which GEELY began its strategic transition.

      In effect, GEELY's strategic transition represents a profound self-revolution of self-owned brands' enterprises. According to Zhao's plan, up to 2015 GEELY plans to construct 15 production platforms under its 5 technology platforms, and to expand to 42 car models in its endeavour to reach an annual sales goal of 2,000,000 units."

      "When GEELY launched its Emgrand model two years ago, announcing its intention to break into the middle and high-end auto market, many people were skeptical. However, the formerly inconspicuous brand has now become the first to gain recognition for establishing itself successfully in the middle and high-end market.

      China-made cars have been labeled as low-end products for many years, a reputation that has served as a bottleneck to the development of domestic brands. Since last year, a series of "self-owned" brands like GEELY, Chery, BYD, and SAIC have been seeking ways to secure a foothold in the high-end market sector.

      This has not been a smooth and steady process. During the first half year, a slump was seen in the performance of self-owned brands in the domestic market. According to statistics, at least 10 dealers of Riich, the new brand of Chery, were forced out in July alone. Meanwhile, FAW Bestum and SAIC Roewe faced the embarrassment of unsalable stock and depreciation.
      These failures to attain set goals can be attributed to changes in policy, joint-venture competition, market trends and faults in strategy. As the former three challenges are faced by all brands, the latter component takes on extreme tactical importance.

      In this regard, people have been very impressed by the strategic transition of GEELY, especially in the multi-brand development strategies of Emgrand, Gleagle and Englon. The launch of Emgrand was a total rebirth for GEELY.

      The Emgrand assumed an independent operational way of entering the market, setting up brand-new 4S stores. The independent channel liberated them from being associated with a "budget" image while enabling them to establish one that was freshly high-end. Unlike GEELY's other models, whose launches and distribution chiefly focused on third and fourth-tier cities, Emgrand's entry into the market began with cities of first and second-tier status. As of now, 250 4S stores have been built throughout the nation.

      GEELY has also set up the Emgrand auto corporation, equipping it with an efficient marketing management team and various functional departments to make it an independent company.

      In terms of marketing, Emgrand always follows a steady and prudent policy that views the value and quality of products as the fundamental core of their competitiveness.

      After two years, Emgrand has already gained a firm foothold, with total sales volume in the first half of this year exceeding 50,000 units (pers. Anmerkung: bis jetzt hat die Marke Emgrand somit fast 25% Anteil an verkauften Autos von Geely :eek::D) and a total sales volume for the past two years of over 150,000.

      Emgrand's success proves that there is no shortcut to achieving high-end status. Self-owned brands need make full use of the concept of quality, using technology to make breakthroughs. To reach its goal, Emgrand has spent billions of yuan to set up new bases and develop new production lines and new technology to ensure that its products are of a first-class level."
