Salmantino promoted to Segunda B
Berkeley supporting Los Charros back to La Liga
Berkeley Minera as part of its investment in the community is the proud sponsor of the CF Salmantino UDS who won promotion to the Segunda B on the weekend.
In big weekend for the city Unionistas de Salamanca and Santamarta, Salamanca’s two other football teams, were also promoted following victories this weekend, to the 2B Division and the 3 Division respectively.
Berkeley Energia has been investing in the Castilla y Leon region for over a decade and as such has strong ties to the local community and the CF Salmantino UDS team.
The Company has organised events for fans at home games and this weekend provided transport for supporters to the Multiusos de San Lázaro stadium in Santiago de Compostela.
Managing Director, Paul Atherley, commented:
“We are delighted for CF Salmantino UDS and its fans. We are truly proud to be their sponsor and look forward to supporting them all the way back to La Liga.
Its not just about creating 2,500 badly needed jobs. Supporting the local community which is suffering from depopulation and some of the highest levels of unemployment in the EU has always been important to us and we continue to look for ways in which we can do

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 57.955.239 von Buetzbuster am 11.06.18 09:11:32Dann verkaufe ich sie, egal wie gut das Projekt ist. Aktuell ist sie bei mir leicht im Gewinn.
Was meinst du damit?

Und alles was Merkel macht.
Europa ist kein so einfaches Pflaster wie man meinen könnte.

Valentina we have repeatedly requested that you and or your Editor contact us before you publish these articles with such dramatic headlines. Simply repeating claims of “thousands” demonstrating against the mine does you no credit. As you can see from the comments section your article is being used as a mouthpiece for the opposition groups. We send people to these events and count the number attendees and as a general rule of thumb the numbers are exaggerated by a factor of ten. Yesterday’s demonstration was attended by just over 100 people. Significantly less than the previous one. Importantly these demonstrators were bussed in. They are not locals. These events coincide with the number of fully documented job applicants - mainly locals - exceeding 22,000. A better headline might have read “Tens of thousands of local mine job applications dwarf poorly attended opposition demo.” Kind regards Paul Atherley

In Verbindung mit dem Börsenlisting wurde auch ein umfassender Unternehmensüberblick (Prospectus) veröffentlicht, wo u. a. auf Seite 40 die aktuelle "Herausforderung" für das Einholen noch ausstehender Genehmigungen / Lizenzen beschrieben wird:Construction and commission phases of the Salamanca Project are expected to continue throughout 2018
and 2019, subject to the award of all relevant permits and approvals (the next stage in the Salamanca
Project’s development is dependent on obtaining the urbanism licence and NSC II which will allow for the
construction of the plant as a radioactive facility. The Company applied for these approvals in November
2016 with both currently outstanding). It is expected that the Salamanca Project will not reach steady
state production prior to 2020. The Company is currently seeking an express resolution from the local
municipality on the award of the urbanism licence. The municipality is currently without a general secretary
and the Company understands that a resolution on the urbanism licence will not take place until the role
of general secretary is filled. The Company understands that the appointment of a general secretary is
underway and the timeline for the award of the licence is expected in the short to medium term but is
dependant on the appointment timeframe. The application for NSC II was filed in 2016 and is currently
pending. The term of the proceedings for NSC II have been suspended until the NSC issues its mandatory
report on the Company’s NSC II application, which is still ongoing. The timing of the express award of the
urbanism licence and the NSC II is currently uncertain and outside of the Company's control.
Läuft ;-)
