Fitch Revises Outlook on Leonardo to Stable; Affirms at 'BBB-'
https://www.fitchratings.com/research/corporate-finance/fitc…
...
Fitch Ratings has revised the Outlook on Leonardo S.p.A.'s Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) to Stable from Negative and affirmed the Long-Term IDR and senior unsecured rating at 'BBB-'. A full list of rating actions is below.
The revision of the Outlook reflects Fitch's view that Leonardo's cash flows over the coming 12-24 months are likely to gradually improve to levels firmly within the parameters for the 'BBB-' rating. Recovery in key end-markets as well as the benefits from the restructuring measures undertaken as a consequence of the pandemic mean that key credit ratios, such as funds from operations (FFO) and free cash flow (FCF) margins, as well as leverage, will return to within the present rating sensitivities in the short term.
As well as the expected return to a solid financial profile in the short to medium term, the ratings also reflect the company's good business profile, characterised by strong positions in the helicopter and certain defence electronics markets.

die Europäer haben schon wieder Mist verkauft. Nun kauft Australien wieder amerikanisch:

Australia Has Had Enough Of Its Dysfunctional MRH90 Helicopters
In an ironic twist, the MRH90 will be superseded by a modern version of the Black Hawk it was supposed to replace.
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/43472/australia-has-ha…
...
The MRH90 is an Australian-specific derivative of the NH90, developed in Europe by the multinational NHIndustries company, which comprises Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo, and GKN Fokker.
...
As The Strategist, the analysis and commentary site from the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, or ASPI, observes, “on paper, the MRH90 has more capacity than the Black Hawk, in real life that’s irrelevant if the helicopter isn’t flying.”![](//img.wallstreet-online.de/smilies/laugh.gif)
...
Then, outside of Australia, it should be noted that other NH90 operators have faced a variety of problems with the helicopter, although these issues have rarely been consistent, especially since individual variants — more than 20 in all — can differ from country to country.
...
http://www.nhindustries.com/website/en/ref/home.html -->
Final assembly of NH90 is completed at 6 locations
• Airbus Helicopters, Marignane - France.
• Leonardo Helicopters, Tessera - Italy.
• Airbus Helicopters Deutschland, Donauwörth - Germany.
• Airbus Helicopters Spain, Albacete - Spain.
• Patria, Halli - Finland.
• Airbus Group Australia Pacific, Brisbane - Australia.
Leonardo hält 32.0% an NHINDUSTRIES SAS (AR2020).
Civil sector: Impact on the businesses in which Leonardo operates: There was a significant decline in the Oil & Gas segment, which was only partially offset by platforms supporting alternative energy sources.

https://www.finanzen.net/nachricht/aktien/gebot-erwartet-leo…
...

Meldung vom letzten Mittwoch:
The Italian government is considering various options regarding the sale of Leonardo's units, government sources said on Wednesday. [nL8N2SF68U]
Rome is interested in preserving the value of the assets and the sector's jobs while pursuing European partnerships, the sources said after economy, defence and industry ministers met to discuss Leonardo's intention to sell its OTO Melara and Wass units. (*) The government is considering a split sale of the two units, with Wass sold to Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri and OTO Melara to Franco-German KMW+Nexter Defence Systems (KNDS), Il Sole 24 Ore reported. (*) Political sources told Reuters the government has not taken a decision yet and wants to avoid clashes between the companies involved in the potential deals.
